#0390 - The Government Won't Admit Aliens Exist But We Can Confirm Cletus Does - 07/09/2026

Speaker 1: Party people, what up? Hi, it's me, it's Victor Wilt. Enthusiasm at an all-time low today. Is this not the longest week of all time? Or what? I am so done with it. And it's only Thursday. I don't know how. Oh, feels like I haven't had a day off in years.

Hopefully, got one coming up day after tomorrow. Yeah. Sleep in. Plan to do a lot of sleep in this weekend. I planned to do some sleeping last night.

Eh. Should have been able to get to bed nice and early. Got into bed. Tossed and turned and tossed and turned. Oh, it was awful.

So uh, yeah. Not refreshed, not motivated, not enthused. But I am here doing it live. And like many days when I felt this way, we power through. We will survive.

We shall endure. And hopefully we'll have some fun stuff to talk about on the show today. Uh, nothing to report from yesterday, aside from not accomplishing what I needed to. Got nothing done at home that I planned on doing, and then did not get the rest I needed, and uh hating it. So, good morning! Welcome to the program. I'll get working on that fun stuff to share with you.

Alright. Might have to get in and get this stupid wrist looked at again. Won't get into the details.

Sore today. So definitely not gonna be playing any guitar anytime soon and annoying you at the beach. I would actually never show up somewhere and just sit down and bust out my guitar and start playing it, aside from my own living room.

Or if, you know, an event was lined up. Apparently, somebody in Seattle has had it with the guitar guy on the beach. Apparently a lot of people.

Because there's a lot of comments on this post. If you're a guy with a guitar planning on going to the beach to force us all to listen to you, please don't. Uh this post is littered with profanity, so I'm gonna have to edit that out. But it says basically, uh, even if you're a competent player and singer, you're holding everyone at the beach hostage, listening to you pollute the space with your noise. I promise you, not a single other person at the beach is thinking get this peaceful ocean or gee, this peaceful ocean wave sound could really use a guy strumming mediocre crap. Additionally, it is going to let's see, Golden Gardens where everyone is parting and another uh okay, now they seem to have lost their mind and you know they're as good at putting together a sentence as I am at speaking this morning. Uh basically, yeah, a lot of people saying we hate the guitar guy at the beach. So, you know, something to keep in mind. You know, even if you want to go down and open up that acoustic case and try to make a few bucks, you might just be annoying the crap out of people. You never know. So, you know, keep that hippie drum circle.

I don't know, in your backyard or something like that. I was just amazed this post had like hundreds and hundreds of comments. People saying leave those Bluetooth speakers at home as well. I I think which would be worse. Somebody playing terrible music on a Bluetooth speaker or guy at the beach with a guitar.

Hmm. Really depends on the music. Alright, I'm gonna go get my guitar and uh head down to the green belt. Might as well start this day off by irritating people at 7 a.m. Heck yeah. Might as well be hanging out in the jungle this weekend. We've got the extreme heat warning coming your way.

Yeah, just in time for the weekend. Triple digits, it's gonna suck. Glad my plans are to be seriously hunkered down at home and doing a whole lot of nothing.

I mean, there's plenty that needs to be done around there, but we'll see how it goes, motivation-wise, but yeah. Saturday and Sunday should be uh topping 100 degrees. So please be cautious if you're heading out. You know, I was looking at EastIdahoNews.com. They've got uh an article there about sun protection and why it matters.

You should look at that, okay? I know Sunblock can be you know greasy and uncomfortable. You gotta buy the good stuff, alright.

I forget what the brand or type I pick up is, but it's some girly looking crap that says like it goes on sheer and it yeah, it's not very uncomfortable. Anyway, they've also got at East Idaho News a list of easy trails you could hike with your toddler or young kids. Um I don't know if this is the weekend to do it, okay. Make sure if you're gonna get out and check out any of those trails they've listed. Uh pack tons of water in sunblock, and you know, just plan ahead, okay. If you're looking at these trails, some of them are much longer than others, some of them require changes in elevation, but you can get through some some pretty beautiful areas.

Some of these are trails I've been on before. Again, just go to EastIdahoNews.com and maybe I'll share this article um on the K-Bear page for you know a good family activity. But yeah, just make sure to be cautious, okay? I don't want anybody to get heat sickness.

I I'm pretty sure I was like right on the brink of heat sickness at Riverfest last week, so be careful, people. Of course, I've got to click on a thread that's called What's the Best Cat Name You've Ever Heard. I'm sitting here trying to find things to talk with you about on the radio show, and I'm reading through cat names.

These are pretty good though. Like this person said their nephew has two cats, juice box and home depot. Uh I remember when I was a kid, my friend Jesse, he had a cat, and it was named Buttwipe.

Not edited, I I didn't censor it. That was the name, Butt Wipe. Uh which I thought was pretty insane at the time.

Uh, but it's pretty funny now. Uh let's see, this person said Dave. Here's my cat Dave. He's a good boy. Dave. Uh Dave's a good name for a cat. Let's see.

Somebody named their cat. Yeah, it's not that great. Come on now.

Let's see. This person is a blind black cat that they named Roomba because she's just always bumping into things. Chungus. Now, you might recall if you're a longtime internet user, Big Chungus being a thing back in the day. A meme for big boy, big kitty.

Chungus. Jet pack. That one's pretty cool. I I seem to recall talking with Piper Finney like a decade ago about cat names.

And I don't remember if she said that she had a friend with a cat that had this name, or if we just thought it was a great cat name for some reason. Sausage! I don't know why. Just popped into my head. Chairman Meow.

Okay. Harold. Harold the cat.

Princess Donut. Uh Uncle Baby Billy. Alright, I can approve of that. If you've never watched The Righteous Gemstones. Great show you should check out.

Let's see. Trashy Larry. What's that from? I would assume the person, you know, who named their cat Uncle Baby Billy. If they also named another one Trashy Larry, it's gotta be from something. Sharpie for a black cat. That's a pretty good name.

Alright, uh, Atlas, but they call him uh Fatless or Cattle because he's fat. Okay. Um, I'll find some freak news, okay? I'll stop looking at cat names. Sorry. I couldn't help myself. It's Thursday.

I'm way behind. I got nothing done at home last night, and all I want to do is hang out at my house uh with my wife and cats. Alright, so cat names brings me a little bit of uh of joy. Alright, we've got a lot of uh semi-violent freak news today.

Let's let's dive in here. Guy in Minnesota saw a bear. And uh, it looked at him. So he shot at it, scared his neighbors, they called the cops, and uh this 81-year-old man is facing some charges, shooting at a black bear without a justifiable reason. Yeah, it looked at me is not acceptable in Minnesota, I guess.

Uh, probably not acceptable around here either. Uh what did they charge him with here? Taking big game outside the legal hunting season. Now, what he said though is he just shot kind of in its direction to scare it off and that it ran off into the woods.

They were unable to find the bear, see if you know it was injured or anything like that. But he's like, I live in a country, there's no way I would have hit my neighbor's house. But the neighbor yelled at him and said, I'm not happy with my neighbor to the authorities when they showed up. I no evidence showing that the bear did anything wrong other than walking by the woods where it lived.

And it's pretty common in this area, I guess, for black bears to show up. So I guess even if you live in a sticks, don't just be firing off rounds. Well, pretty easy to make your neighbors mad. I mean, I made my neighbors mad on the 4th of July. You know, just lighting off fireworks a little bit late.

But it, you know, at least I didn't uh you know blow my hand off or or die. There was another story about a guy in Minnesota who uh yeah, no longer with us after a mortar went off in his hand. Um please be cautious with fireworks, everybody. Now, fireworks are something I think most people are aware of being potentially dangerous, but I'd never heard of a plasma cannon.

Until I saw this article. Teens charged after homemade plasma cannon uh damages Smith High. This is uh Smith High School in Greensboro, North Carolina.

So I'm like, all right, you got these two 18-year-old kids. What is a plasma cannon? Apparently, making a homemade plasma cannon is pretty popular on TikTok. And I am certainly not gonna give you instructions on how to make something that shoots fire.

I don't think you should look it up either. Because it looks dangerous, okay? We're talking about a plasma cannon that shoots fire. Um I don't even know what they they did aside from break into the school. They said they used the homemade plasma cannon to get into the school. Uh, there was a little bit of damage to a bush and the school's plexiglass door.

Uh a little bit burned up, I guess. So these guys, they were charged with this is not what you want to have happen to you at 18. This is why you don't make a plasma cannon. Charged with felony possession of a weapon of mass destruction, felony use of explosive causing damage to property, felony breaking and entering, and felony explosive on educational property. Yeah.

That's not good for an 18-year-old, okay. Um And then maybe I'll get into this other one in a minute. It's it's local, so you gotta be careful with local stories. Every time somebody knows the person, you say the wrong thing, they're like, that's my friend, it's my brother. So I just gotta figure out how I'm gonna approach it. We'll listen to some more music in the meantime, and then I will be back. Alright. The only reason that I'm going to talk about this story is because of the comments on the article. Because it looks like everyone's brains all went to the same place as me. Good morning, Peaches.

Good morning. So I was reading this article from East Idaho News about a couple guys who got in a fight in Lava Hot Springs. I don't know if you saw this article. No, I haven't.

Okay. Yeah, these things happen. Uh, you know, you got people at the bar. Somebody hits on somebody's girlfriend, fight breaks out, happens. You know, okay. Not that interesting for the show. But one of the guys was named Cletus. Are you joking?

No. He's an 18-year-old named Cletus. And what do you think all the comments are? They're just all talking about Cletus and what a terrible name it is. If I was named Cletus, I'd be destined for crime too. Now, again, these crimes are alleged. But there's so many funny comments, dude.

Speaker 2: That was after the fact that you said nobody in this world is named Cletus.

Speaker 1: We have said that before on this show. And I don't know if uh Cletus is from Lava Hot Springs, but

Speaker 2: I guess or he's from the backwoods.

Speaker 1: I have pointed out that that's the only place I've ever been in my life where somebody said to me, You ain't from around here, are ya? And the type of people who say that you would think would be named Cletus. Oh, yeah. You know? Absolutely. So yeah.

Speaker 2: I love how It's such a crime to be like not from around where the place that you're at is.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it shouldn't be a crime, and that's a tourist town. So pretty much everybody's not from around there. Right.

Speaker 2: Um someone walking up to Jimmy Fallon going, you're not from around here, are you?

Speaker 1: No, they're like, take selfie with me, bro.

Speaker 2: Henry Winkler, I dare someone to say that to him.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you ain't from around here, are you? Well, you fishing here, huh? Yeah. You ain't from around here. Yeah. Every single comment is about Cletus. I'd be mad if my name was Cletus, too. Right. The real crime is the name Cletus.

With a name like Cletus, he was always destined for prison. Was that Jethro's kid or Ellie Mays? Sorry. Sorry, Cletus, but yeah, you know, don't get in fights and end up in the news. I try to avoid local stories, but with that many comments about Cletus. I just couldn't pass it up.

Speaker 2: Was this guy the one with the girlfriend?

Speaker 1: Um, well, let's get into the story here.

Speaker 2: Because what girl's going, oh, Cletus. Oh no. Cletus.

Speaker 1: I I can't live with that.

Speaker 2: Oh, Cletus. I love you.

Speaker 1: Oh, let's see. I don't I don't know if the article really says who the girlfriend I I don't want to say belong to.

Speaker 2: It's not who owned that girl.

Speaker 1: Who owned that girl? Cleeter girl? Oh, great.

Speaker 2: Yeah, Cletus is calling in right now.

Speaker 1: I knew it. It's gonna be somebody who's like Cletus is my cousin. He's I didn't pass any judgment on Cletus, okay? I these are all alleged things that happened. We're just talking about the name Cletus, not Cletus himself. Uh listener, you are live on the air, keep that in mind. Who's this? This is Kyle. Alright, I'm glad it's not Cletus. What up, Kyle?

Speaker 3: I just know about the whole incident with good old good old Cletus boy.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I wasn't gonna get into all the uh grisly details. I just wanted to talk about the name Cletus.

Speaker 3: Well, I didn't know that he's from uh Louisiana, so that's why he's the good old boy Cletus.

Speaker 1: Okay, I thought he was good old boy from potentially lava hot springs,

Speaker 3: so he's also a good old bounce out Cletus boy.

Speaker 1: Alright, yeah. People out there don't name your kids Cletus. They're they're destined to be. I wouldn't do it. It's like you're you're just ensuring something bad's gonna happen in their life. Probably.

Speaker 3: Nine times out of ten.

Speaker 1: Well, appreciate the call, Kyle, and hope you have a good day today, man. You too, buddy. Right on, peace. So yeah, yeah. Don't don't name your kid Cletus, okay? It's just not a good idea. Is there any worse name for a man than Cletus? Peaches.

Speaker 2: Let me ask uh AI.

Speaker 1: Yeah, see what it says. does ChatGPT say for worse names than Cletus?

Speaker 2: Is there any worse name for a man other than Cletus?

Speaker 1: I mean, I was thinking maybe like Hubert.

Speaker 1: Pubert's pretty bad. I think Cletus might be worse, but Pubert does remind you of uh, you know, hair down below.

Speaker 2: So you ever seen um Meet the Falkers? Mm-hmm. The first name of Steve Corell's character.

Speaker 1: Yes. Um that's a worse name. Okay, so are you mean Ben uh Ben Stiller? Oh, yeah, yeah, Ben Stiller. Ben Stiller's name. Yeah. That one I'm uncomfortable saying on air.

Speaker 2: Well, it's on this list here that Chad GPT gave me. Uh Buford. Buford!

Speaker 1: That's Cletus' dad.

Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta have a big fat son to name him Bufen. My boy Buford. Yeah, Buford. That's a good name for a big dog.

Speaker 1: K-Bear, you're live on the show. Please keep that in mind. Who's this? Double MJ. LMJ? Double MJ. Oh, what's going on, double MJ?

Speaker 3: Just head home from my honeymoon.

Speaker 1: Well, congratulations. I hope it went good. It did. Alright, so what's up?

Speaker 3: Yes, what's the name? Which name is worse than Cletus. Uh what's Richard?

Speaker 1: Uh what's Richard uh oh what what Richard can be abbreviated to? Yeah. I don't know. It's it's not terrible. I don't think it's as bad as Cletus. What about like Skeeter? Skeeter.

Speaker 3: Oh my lord. Skeeter would have to be a nickname. What if he really did name your kid Skeeter?

Speaker 2: Skeeter McGillicuddy, there he is.

Speaker 1: Well, appreciate the call, man. Of course. See ya. Bubba. People do name their kids that. Bubba the love sponge. Gross. Uh K Barry, you're live on the show. Keep that in mind. Who's this? This is just one J. One J. Alright. Well, what do you got?

Speaker 3: Hey, uh, you and Peaches, Do you guys you guys ever watch that episode of Family Guy where uh Peter had to get into his father-in-law's vault, and there was like a cryptid password where the robot came out or whatever, and she's all you know, what's the ugliest name in the American language? And then Peter was like, I know. Keith. Keith. And then that was the that was the right answer. Keith.

Speaker 4: And Keith is nowhere near as bad as I don't know if Cletus just

Speaker 3: in I live in that world where there's like some names that I think are great as an adult, right? Like Hank, Keith. Maybe I don't know what else I could put in there. There's a few E.

There's just some, but like as a kid, I'm like, I feel so sorry for that child. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's it's I don't want to want to be a four-year-old name. There's Keith. Like, I don't know. That's just me.

Speaker 1: I I mean Clean Cletus is bad at any age.

Speaker 3: I agree. Well, there's a reason I don't go by Jeffrey because I'm not a butler. Oh it was bad enough.

Speaker 1: Jeffrey. Fetch me my water, Jeffrey.

Speaker 3: I feel like the first Prince of Bel Air. Jeffrey.

Speaker 1: My mom couldn't even, she doubled down because then my middle name's Edward, and I was like, dude, I got two butler names.

Speaker 1: Oh, geez. Jeffrey Edward. Well, that's okay. I know a guy named Robert William.

Speaker 3: That's fair. Well, all right, sorry. I just remember that. It popped in my memory bank. So right on, did also. I have something for you guys to throw into the K Bear uh uh Facebook page. I send it to you and Peaches. Good. No problem. It's a local joke. You'll love it.

Speaker 1: All right. Let's see. Did you send it to the K-Bear page or email?

Speaker 3: The K-Bear page. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, it has to do with local news, and maybe we shouldn't yell at people when they take pictures.

Speaker 1: Well, yeah. Yeah, I haven't got into that yet. That guy's getting memed pretty heavily locally.

Speaker 3: Uh I made you a meme that has an image of his face that says uh sleep token and ghost are not metal.

Speaker 1: I said 14.2. All right. All right. All right, all right. We'll have to post that one. See you guys. See you dude. Yeah, well, I I've been trying to avoid the local stories, you know, because there was there was the guy at the mall. Yeah. And then there was Cletus. And we're gonna have to talk about the guy in the mall just because of all the memes.

Speaker 2: Well, there was that one guy that was uh crawling through the air vent at the local subway and fell through. Was that a news story? Yeah, it was in the radio prep. Out of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Speaker 1: I'm sure that was a recent old story. That's what I'm saying. Like there was that example too where I wanted to talk about it. Ah, but it wasn't listening.

Speaker 2: But I just didn't want to insult like well, one of our listeners or something like that.

Speaker 1: I know the guy at the mall, he might be a K-bearer listener. Cletus could be a K-bearer listener.

Speaker 2: Somehow all crime comes back to back to K bear.

Speaker 1: There have been many times where I talked about a local story, and yeah, somebody calls it that's my mom, dude.

Speaker 2: Okay, what about what about the name Elmer? Elmer.

Speaker 1: Ooh. I still think Cletus is a worse name than Elmer.

Speaker 2: These are all names that would be horrible if you were dating this man. Yeah. Earl.

Speaker 1: Oh, Elmer.

Speaker 2: You're like the glue. Uh Virgil. Virgil.

Speaker 1: Okay. That's not too bad.

Speaker 2: Uh we got Buford, obviously. Then we got Jethro. Yeah, Jethro. Then it has Zeke. Zeke.

Speaker 1: I don't think Zeke's a bad thing.

Speaker 2: name. Zeke's pretty cool. Ezekiel?

Speaker 1: That's probably what it is, is an abbreviation for Ezekiel. No, it is. Yeah. Uh Floyd. Floyd. That what does that remind me of? Floyd Mayweather? Maybe Floyd.

Speaker 2: How about one of the greatest country artists of all time? Merle. Merle!

Speaker 1: Merle. Or Clem. Merle and Clem and Cletus are all brothers. Norbert. Norbert. Oh.

Speaker 2: Then we also have Gomer.

Speaker 1: Nobody naming anybody Gomer anymore, are they? Was that a real name at some point? Only person I've ever heard called that is Gomer Pyle in uh full metal jacket. Anyway, don't name your kids. Silly, silly names. You're destining them for a life of trouble. All right.

Speaker 2: It's uh definitely a real name. Gomer. Gomer Jones. Gomer Jones! Live from 1914 to 1971. A well known American football player, coach, and athletics administrator from the University of Oklahoma.

Speaker 1: That does sound like an old school football guy.

Speaker 2: There's also Gomer Jones Gomer Barry from 1883 to 1968. A prominent Welsh uh what is that word? C-O-L-L-I-E-R-Y.

Speaker 1: Goilery. I don't know what that is.

Speaker 2: Boilery owner and newspaper publisher who became the first Viscount Kemsley. The heck is that? Oh, please. Gomer Perry. Gilmer Perry. Um, there's also uh Gomer Powell. Gomer Powell. All right.

Speaker 1: Please. Please, people, don't name your kids Gomer. Or Cletus. Clem.

Speaker 2: I should go by Gomer Jones on Z103.

Speaker 1: Just change my whole identity. I'm Gomer Jones. I'm Gomer Jones. Well, according to the Daily Star, we've got some vital UFO information coming our way. But I think it's a bunch of uh a bunch of Hokum, as they say. Daily Star says Trump has bombshell speech that will reveal truth about UFOs written and ready. Then you read the next line, and you go.

ugh, Okay. Alien expert Mark Christopher Lee claims the U.S. president is preparing to make an announcement about incidents involving crash and beings of non-human origin.

Yeah, he says it's ready. That's what UK UFologist and filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee says. All right.

I'm sorry, but if this was an announcement from a spokesperson from the White's the White House, sure. This is uh Christopher Lee. Mark Christopher Lee, UFO guy. Um he said he thought Trump might bring it to the NATO summit yesterday.

Did not happen. Now that date would have also marked the anniversary of the uh 1947 Roswell incident, which most people are familiar with, where a suspected UFO crashed near Roswell, and later on, after putting in the news, saucer recovered, they're like, oh, it was a weather balloon. None of their worried about here. Well, it would be pretty cool if we got some kind of better UFO information in the next few days. Give me something to talk about on this show. Too much politics going on.

Makes it tough. So if we're gonna get political, let's get government releasing quality UFO information. That's what I want.

I need the truth. Well, you want to move? You want to move to Kentucky?

You might be able to own a legendary property. The home of Colonel Sanders. Yeah. Guess this thing was built. Who was this built here?

1866. It's in Shelbyville, Kentucky. It's a pretty cool looking place.

It's got a little bit of a Victorian vibe to it. And I don't know what's up with this attached building that looks gigantic next to it, but I would assume that's part of the sale. Now, they're slinging this thing by auction.

So I don't know how much it's actually gonna go for. But it uh it is, I guess cool if you want to live in Kentucky. I don't know if I'd want to live in Kentucky.

Even in Colonel Sanders' chicken infested house. Um Yeah, what is up with that gigantic building next to it? Do you get that too? Hmm. I don't know.

Cause uh it doesn't say you got oh, you gotta go to Claudiusandersauction.com. Okay. Let's let's do that instead of Zillow.

All right. The Colonel Sanders collection and historic property auction. Oh, it's a dinner house.

That's what that is. It's like a giant restaurant. So, yeah, you can uh start a business. You better be able to bring in a lot of people, though. This place is massive. Holy crap. That's crazy. Dude, This is gonna be millions and millions of dollars.

Well, the auction ain't coming up for 19 days, so you got a few days to save up. Holy cow. It's generally bad when a naked man shows up at your door.

But when he's there to help you put out your house fire, not too shabby. Sumner, Washington. Uh, let's see. A lot of house fires lately with the dry conditions and 4th of July, and this guy saw his neighbor's house on fire. It was late at night and he was naked.

So he just ran over there and just started putting the fire out. Wearing nothing but his birthday suit. Uh, Peach is just talking about the only good time for a naked man to show up at your house.

Speaker 2: If you were in a burning building, would you allow a naked man to you?

Speaker 1: Absolutely. Absolutely. I think I would uh please carry me. Help me! Rather than yeah. What if his name was Cletus? Clean us, help me! Oh, please. Oh, clean as well.

Speaker 2: Carry me in your big strong arms. I'm so glad you're here.

Speaker 1: So glad you spent a life, you know, moving pipe and tossing bales of hay so you can carry me out of here. Clean it. Uh so yeah, everybody's okay. They got the fire out. He didn't get charged with, you know, public nudity, because he was helping. If you want to you want to be naked in public, you gotta help, Peaches.

Speaker 2: You want to be that jerk cop that gives him public indecency charges for rescuing people?

Speaker 1: After he just saved a couple people's lives in their home.

Speaker 2: I mean, I get it if he was taking some photos, but

Speaker 1: hey, people don't like when you're taking photos, Peaches.

Speaker 2: That was the joke I was trying to make there, Victor. Come on, give it the program here.

Speaker 1: Dude, I've seen people from out of the area memeing that. Like, that's that's going viral.

Speaker 2: Okay, you can never show your face again. I'm sorry. You do that type of thing, you go viral.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta move or something.

Speaker 2: What's worse? That guy or the Dairy Queen Karen.

Speaker 1: Uh, Dairy Queen Karen's pretty good. Uh, do you think Carolina Rosalind's mad that she wasn't the one who got the video at the mall?

Speaker 2: Maybe she's posted outside the mall with her sister or something.

Speaker 1: She's just driving around in the mall parking lot.

Speaker 2: Trying to get all those, you know, all those mole cops to get aggravated with her.

Speaker 1: I bet if you're mole cop working right now, you're probably behaving pretty well.

Speaker 2: What if there's like that one coworker that's like wearing a shirt with his face on and says, I stand with whatever his name is.

Speaker 1: Oh, geez. I miss him. As we've learned during traffic school, if you're in a public place, you can film in public. Now, it looked like they were outside. I don't know how it falls where they were on mall property.

Speaker 2: I think they were between the the the two sets of doors. Because for some reason the mall needs that.

Speaker 1: Yeah, we're gonna have to ask Lieutenant Crane on Friday for a little more insight here on, you know, can you film in the mall? Because you can film out out on the streets, but whether people like it or not, you can do it. You know, as I've as I've learned, people get mad, but they have to deal with it.

Thank you for not trying to start a fight with me at Riverfest, by the way, everybody. Didn't do any filming. Probably should have if I wanted to get yelled at.

Speaker 2: You're too busy thinking you were cool driving the little side-by-side.

Speaker 1: Oh, it's driving around, keeping an eye on things, helping people, fixing problems.

Speaker 2: You kept driving around, you know, you drove up to me, Jeff, everybody else on staff that you know, all the all the peasants working the kid's zone. Yep. And you kept walking out with your walkie-talkie and hitting it in your hand like you're about to hit one of us, you know.

Speaker 1: Well, I got I had to make sure you're working. Of course we were. Swing over. Obviously, you weren't. I was that my job was making sure the job was getting done. Helping people and yelling at vendors and whatever else needed to be done. They just said jump, and I was like, okay, I will. That was pretty bad.

Speaker 2: You're on at Vendors like, hey, give me that funnel cake for free.

Speaker 1: Uh no. It was shut your generator off. It's time for fireworks. Shut her down. No sound.

Speaker 2: But did you wear the uh rent a cop outfit? And then stuff. Start walking up to them. Yeah, yeah. Like full on got aggravated with them and sort of strange.

Speaker 1: a shiny vest. Yeah. And then when they won't listen to me, I shove them. Sure. Good shove.

Speaker 2: Grab them by the arm and throw them to the ground.

Speaker 1: Yeah. No, don't do that, anybody. You're gonna get in trouble. Gonna go to jail. Ugh! Well, we made it to nine o'clock, Peaches. Ah. You want some heavy new bring me the horizon to kick off this hour? Heck yeah.

Heck yeah! Dehumanized coming right up. Well, with the scorching temperatures approaching for the weekend, you might be considering wearing lighter clothing. Maybe a little bit less clothing. Well, if you're gonna do so, be aware.

Somebody might raise a ruckus. There was this woman in the UK, because they've been dealing with scorching temperatures. She's wearing a shirt. Um, which it's the type of shirt I've seen many women wear around here. It's like uh a backless top. Um, so it's got, you know, the the straps that you know, tie in the back. Um, but the back's pretty much open, but you know, totally covers the front.

Not a big deal at all. Well, this woman tried to go to a Tesco store. I think it's a grocery store in the UK, and uh like you you need to get.

You need to get out of here. Someone could untie your shirt. Okay, well, wouldn't that be like battery? Uh, you put your hands on somebody else. You untie a woman's shirt. That's not her problem. That's the creep who's untying her shirt, right?

So yeah, they they wouldn't let her in. Um. And let's see here. What's going on?

Is she suing them or anything like that? Oh, I guess she went back to her car, grabbed a gym sweatshirt, and despite the sweltering heat, uh, just draped it over her shoulders, and they were like, okay, I guess that's fine. Well, you can just if it's just draped around the shoulders, you could still pull the sweater off and untie the shirt. I mean, you shouldn't by any means. But this shirt's like totally tame, and I I think people should be able to walk around and wear whatever they want. It's 100 degrees outside. Bust out the bikinis, ladies. I don't care. Dude, stew.

Bust out the speedoes. All right, it might be bothersome. But hey, gonna be hot.

And maybe you don't have the luxury of hiding in your house in the air conditioning in the darkness and uh trying to avoid all of society, like I hope to do this weekend. We'll see how well that goes. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed that the plan is executed properly.

All right, well, we made it to uh a little after nine, that's pretty good. And I'm gonna keep digging for crap to talk with you about. Uh, I'm gonna go put on my skimpy clothes. It's getting a little bit toasty in here.

Owdy, everybody, it's the Victor World Show. Happy Thursday to you. Hope all is amazing. Oh, getting ready for the hot weekend here.

Are we one of the states that's gonna have to deal with a super ill niño? Let's find out here. Gotta open this in a different tab.

It's not letting me read it. All right, over 85% chance of Super El Nino developing. And is that going to lead to uh warmer temperatures? Let's see here.

They say between drought, low precipitation and above average temps this fall and winter could be expe. Did I just say expecially? Expecially.

Uh that would be especially challenging. Uh moving into October, November, and December. They're talking about a very strong El Niño event. And tends to not lead to conditions that are very good in the Pacific Northwest.

So, okay. We would see a much warmer and drier conditions than normal in the winter time. So we would be impacted by this. And it could lead to another absolutely amazing winter.

I know that this has been really bad for the West. We need water. Like, you know, let it dump in the mountains all day. Let's get record-breaking numbers in the mountains, but I tell you, if we don't have to deal with it in town, sure. I'll take it.

I will take it. Uh wildfire risk. Significant over the next couple months as well. So please be cautious there.

Alright, fingers crossed though. I would love to see above average temperatures and uh below average snow. I did buy a new snowblower last year that I haven't used. I should probably fire that up. Yeah.

Don't want that gas just sitting in that thing all year. Alright. We're making it through this day, everybody. Well, there is a lot of crap going on this weekend, as far as I keep hearing. If you're into country music, they got that Sam Barber concert at the Mountain America Center going down Saturday. Just got a message from Taylor from Royal Bliss. Said they're gonna be up here this weekend.

I don't know. Well, he says we play there Saturday. I don't know where that's gonna be. Is that out at uh Sandy Downs?

Seem to remember seeing something about that, like truck show or something. Um Royal Bliss dropped a new track earlier today as well. Um played it already, but keep listening for that. I'm sure we'll play it more.

Gotta support our Salt Lake homies. And then if you're looking for something fun to do on Sunday, you know, Ravonda. She uh let me know that over at the Alibi, like if if you know where the alibi is, there's all these like run down apartments surrounding it, and somebody had like spray painted keep out all over the place.

If if you've driven down First Street, you may have seen this in Idaho Falls. Uh, they don't look nice, you know? These apartments look like crap.

So the staff over at the Alibi was like, let's paint some murals on them. Let's have some fun. Let's make it look nice and inviting. So this Sunday they're gonna be painting like all day. You can bring kids out, 8 a.m.

to 10 a.m. Uh, they're gonna have all the paint and everything, so you can just show up and get to painting something cool. And then uh adults are welcome to hang out, you know, all day.

They want however long you can stand the brutal heat. Uh well, yeah, you know, making the making the streets look a little bit nicer, and it should be fun. So you should get out and do that.

And again, all the supplies are uh covered. So I might be there. I guess it depends how the process is going this weekend.

Not gonna get into it, but it depends on the process. We'll see. All right. We got about 20 minutes left of this uh program.

Let me see what else I can find to talk with you about. We did it, people. We survived well, the morning show. We survived that. It's only 10 a.m., but hopefully the rest of the day goes good too.

Staying optimistic. I'm doing a little bit better now than I was when I got here. I was just tired this morning. Ugh. Could not get to bed last night. It's terrible.

Uh, if you didn't listen to yesterday's show, want to remind you there has been at least a little bit of good news in the world. Sasha Barron Cohen of Borat Fame. Secretly filmed a new Ally G movie, and it's gonna be coming out at some point. And that is awesome. I was just talking with Becca recently about the Ally G show.

We were watching clips on YouTube. So for the surprise return, I am just super excited. If you've never watched any of the Ally G stuff, it's a character like Borat or Bruno. Uh Ally G's this uh British like white rapper dude who talked with a lot of slang and uh you know interviews famous people, makes it very awkward, uh, just like Borat, etc. So how he managed to pull this off, I don't know. I don't know. It's gonna be very interesting to see.

He managed to do a Borat 2 right at the beginning of the pandemic. Just made it happen, so this should be great. But no word on uh when it's coming out, which uh which sucks. I want more information, but they have wrapped production, so we got that going for us, which is nice.

All right. Gonna try to crush the behind the scenes tasks I need to do. Try to get ready for the weekend and the process.

Uh hope you have a great rest of your morning. Peaches and I will be back at noon for the noon hour of madness mayhem. So stick around for that. And I appreciate you as always. Thank you again for tuning in to the Victor Wilch Show. This program's the production of River Bend Media Group. To contact the show or for more information, hit us up at Riverbend Media Group.com.
