#0359 - Someone Shot A Toilet, Someone Threw A Vinyl At Eric Clapton, And It Gets Worse - 05/13/2026

Speaker 1: Well here we are Wednesday. What up everybody? How's it going? The Viktor Wilt Show. Man it's early. Did I go to bed at the time I should have? As always, no. Oh, I'm telling you kids, sleep is very important. Just get it if you can. Well maybe I can sneak a quick nap in after or during work.

Don't tell anyone. Gotta get charged up. I gotta get some crap done tonight. Pretty productive last night. I got the basic essentials done.

So, yeah. Hope you had a basically productive afternoon and evening and that things are going well this morning. Another hot day ahead. Pretty warm out there right now. Not too bad. And hopefully some fun crap in the news for me to share with you and talk about on this program. All right. Had one big fat, strong instant coffee shooter.

Doing a whole lot of nothing. I'll consider having another. But I also don't want to crawl out of my skin. So, oh no I'm just going to get rolling.

Okay. Start digging through the news. See what we can find. Let the party begin. Well I'm feeling old this morning. Just because I want to take a nap. It seems like once you're like, man, naps sound pretty good. You've gotten old.

I found a thread. What something older generations did completely normally that would be considered absolutely insane today. Well let's see how many of these things I remember so I can make myself feel even older. Cause these would be older generation things. All right.

Let's see here. Parents having absolutely no idea where their kids were for 10 hours and just hoping they came home by sunset. Yeah, we used to just take off. Can't imagine that in this day and age. No cell phone. No way for them to figure out where we're at.

Just get on the bike and go. That's how it was. Pretty cool.

Let's see. This person said, my grandfather has a toy set where you melt lead and pour it into molds to make your own toy soldiers. He got it when he was six.

A little bit of lead. That's not going to ever hurt any kids or anything. Right. Well, I don't remember that toy. Oh, smoking literally everywhere. Yeah, I do remember that. I have memories of being a kid like real little and people smoking in the grocery store. Like fast food restaurants. I mean, restaurants in general. It's funny. They'd have the smoking and non smoking section. It's like we're all in the same room.

What difference does it make? Yeah, people used to smoke everywhere. Pretty crazy. All right. Stop by your friend's house unannounced because you're in the neighborhood. Yeah, we've talked about that before. Don't do that. All right.

Don't come by my house. I might be trying to take a nap. And if I actually pull it off, going to be very frustrated when I'm awakened. Leave me alone.

Let's see here. Oh, phone books. Phone books were terrible. They had your name, your address and your phone number and anyone could just look it up. And they just gave them to everybody. Oh, that's kind of crazy.

Isn't it? What if you had a stalker or something? That's when it's good to have a really generic name. Let's see here.

Oh, that's that one's not very pleasant. Paying for everything with cash. Yeah, I think a lot of people definitely would remember that. Yeah, like I seem to remember when ATMs became a thing. Am I that old? Or am I just, you know, a little bit out of whack?

This morning, I don't know. Getting rid of motor oil in your own garden. People did that.

It couldn't be good for plants. Well, it looks like we've got some people dreaming online, dreaming of winning the Lotto. There was a thread about if you had like all the money in the world, if money was no issue, what would be a must have for your dream home? And I'm glad that there's some fun answers. Yeah. One of these is definitely one I would go for. One of those huge libraries with like a spiral staircase. Yeah, you know, two floors. That'd be awesome.

Got one of those big ladders that goes, you know, up to the second story that rolls back and forth. Sweet. Okay. This person says an indoor pool with an underwater tunnel to an outdoor pool. Right.

That's pretty high rolling. Sure. Sure. I'd be down for that too.

That'd be cool, especially on a hot day like yesterday. Oh, that was another thing I did last night. I did accomplish something. I dragged an air conditioner into my room because it was so hot in there. It was like, okay, not going to be asleep and very great tonight. Don't get this going. And then right when I got it going, I wasn't able to get back to bed. But it was nice and cool in there.

Yeah, going to have to probably rig up more of those around the house. Oh, let's see. This person says an industrial dishwasher like the ones in restaurants. Tired of my kitchen being held hostage for 90 minutes. I want my plates clean and 10 seconds flat.

How about just a straight up, you know, commercial kitchen to begin with? Now that'd be pretty sweet. Lazy river with a grotto sounds relaxing.

Yeah. Get yourself one of those, you know, lounge chairs that floats. Kick back and just take a nap. OK, sorry. Conversation pit, a giant greenhouse, an observatory. All right, those things could be pretty all right. Outside kitchen, I don't know. I mean, maybe having a sink out there. Yeah, I guess an outside kitchen. It's one of those things that it seems like sounds handy and you're like, this will be great. And then you'd never use it. But what do I know?

What do I know? OK, cleaning service. Yeah, that would be great.

OK. Um, now some now it's getting kind of boring. I'd want two dishwashers. Yeah, two dishwashers. OK, central heating and air conditioning. OK. See, now we're just getting into that's how spoiled a lot of us are. There are people out there that wish they had just central air and air conditioning.

I don't have central air and I have air conditioners, but not yeah, central air. That would be nice. OK, well, enough daydreaming about ridiculous things we could spend money on if we had it.

No. Been spending too much. Broke. Need to need to take it easy for a while. Well, shall we do a little bit of cue the outrage? It's been a while. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry. That's my secret, Kat.

I'm always angry. So a lot of UFO talk as of late. And Neil deGrasse Tyson chimed in. He was on some type of news program.

Same, we should be prepared. And he gave his instructions on what you should do if you have a close encounter of the third kind and you end up meeting up with some aliens. Well, the online UFO community not happy about this. Because over the years, Neil deGrasse Tyson has been skeptical about aliens. And he's even said things like, why would they care about us? Why would they come visit us? Oh, but now he wants to tell us what to do.

Now he wants to be the king. Huh? There's like hundreds of angry comments. Guy tried getting people to skip the party shows up and it's like he's the boss.

It's like settle down, people. He's one of the guys that the news is going to go to when we're talking about something relating to space. Yeah. Other garbage statements over the years.

Come on. Are we going to get anything interesting with these this UFO stuff? I started seeing that the the star shaped UFO thing I saw from Ukraine yesterday. People speculating that that wasn't one of the real videos. Anyway, of course, the one that would be a little bit interesting would be a fake. Well, I guess we just got to sit around and wait and see. It would get lucky. Something interesting will come out of this. Just be nice to have something wild that's fun to talk about in the news.

And some people need some new hobbies. Now, I don't know if this is happening in the US, but up in Canada, I guess I got a lot of problems going on out in the woods. Where people are just taking out frustrations on outhouses. You know, those really bad ones that are like out in the forest. Yeah, three of them burned down in the North Okanagan's Hunters Range and a couple others blasted by gunfire.

According to a snowmobile group. Now, you should not just blast off rounds at toilets. Because there could be someone sitting in there and nobody wants to get shot on the toilet.

All right. On the toilet is like the last place people, you know, want to pass on, right? Died on the toilet.

Yeah, it's just no way to go. So again, they're on the lookout for these people. I just wanted to encourage you to avoid this kind of behavior. All right.

It's not cool. It might sound fun to shoot a toilet or burn down an outhouse. But you could start a serious forest fire or hurt somebody. So don't don't be a turd when it comes to outhouses. There you go.

A nice inspirational moment from Victor Wilt. Don't be a turd when it comes to outhouses. OK, if you want to be hip this summer, you got to get some ugly shoes. There's an article about ugly shoes taken 2026 by Storm. Got a picture here of some hideous red boots that look like Sonic the Hedgehog's shoes, got some of these other ones that, you know, they're like the toe shoes. You know, get into water or whatever, but they're bright yellow and blue. And they are pretty hideous looking. These other yellow boots that look like something a pro wrestler in the 80s would strap on. Yeah, the Franken shoe.

Um, I don't know how to describe a lot of these. I'm sure if you just Google ugly shoes and go to the news, you can you can find them. But I think my shoes are ugly anyway, because I wear like old man shoes, sketches, you know, or if I had a bunch of dough, I'd buy hocus.

Now, I'm all about that comfort nowadays. Hideous shoes. Nerd. So anyway, I guess I'm in. I'm hip.

Let's see. If you have brightly colored clothing and hair, you might not want to rob a bank. You're going to be caught pretty easily, just like a suspect in Santa Rosa was walked into a Chase Bank Tuesday morning, had a threatening letter, gave it to a bank teller, teller left with the undisclosed amount of cash, but arrested less than an hour later because she's wearing a leopard print jacket and has bright blue hair.

Pretty easy to spot since there are cameras everywhere. People seem to have forgotten this. All right, what else? What else is going on here?

Here. E bike mob attack on Huntington Beach, Boardwalk leaves man bloodied. Well, OK, it's a different type of biker gang. E bikes. Dudes, if you want to, you know, start a bike club, get a real motorcycle. All right.

Don't be part of an e bike bike gang. That is quite the brawl there, though. Well, looking at the video here. Try to not get in fights, people.

All right. People can die. Nobody dead in this one here, but that guy's pretty messed up. Got a black eye. Got some blood going on there.

I'm getting jumped by a bunch of dudes on e bikes. All right. I'm going to see what else I can dig up on this program. Another one of those days so far. Florida man, could you do something stupid please? Going on peaches. Oh, nothing. Oh, nothing. Okay. Well.

Speaker 2: That's right. We're halfway through the week. Yeah.

Speaker 1: Not far enough. Not far enough through the week, but at least it's not Monday or Tuesday.

Speaker 2: And then the weekend after this one, we get a three day weekend. We do. Memorial Day weekend. Yeah.

Speaker 1: Oh, man. Man, do I need that. I wish it was this weekend, but that's fine. Well, there's a thing called PTO.

Speaker 2: Yeah. You can take Friday off. I'll take Friday off and we'll go hide in our respectful houses.

Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm just kind of lacking on the PTO front due to that recent, recent trip. So come to work every day. I guess I shall, even if I would rather be sleeping. Why are you wearing a jacket today? Um, it was cool when I got here, but is it pretty warm out now?

Yeah. Dude, yesterday it was scorching yesterday. I actually had to put an air conditioner in my room because I was like, I can't sleep in this. This is, this is heck.

Speaker 2: This is heck on earth. I'm sure you said it exactly like that too.

Speaker 1: I did. What the heck? Yep. I used a very clean language. I was dragging that thing up from the basement and putting it in my window.

Speaker 2: Well, you're laying there. Beck is right next to you. It's too hot in the room and you go, get the up.

Speaker 1: Well, once I got it running, then it did feel nice and I was sleeping so cozy and then my stupid alarm went off and here I am. Bright and early. Yay. We have an AC in here. I know. Might end up having to turn it on because I'm wearing a jacket.

Speaker 2: I'm going to get too hot in here. I think you keep farting in here because it smells like, it smells like farts.

Speaker 1: I might have farted in here earlier. If there's one way to bring somebody into the room, you know, you rip one in the studio, somebody's going to show up.

Speaker 2: I was thinking about that one time I plugged in a wallflower and you guys were so upset by it.

Speaker 1: There's too much smell. Too much smell.

Speaker 2: It was a false scent. It smelled good in here.

Speaker 1: It was too much smell for me that day. Sometimes the smells get to me, but I did take my allergy med today. I remembered it. So hopefully I won't get a splitting headache like I've had the last couple days because I just keep forgetting to take it. You know, dumb.

Speaker 2: Let's keep talking about health problems. I feel like the listeners love this.

Speaker 1: You know, it's a pretty good, pretty good topic.

Speaker 2: You know, if listeners want to chime in and let us know about theirs, they can.

Speaker 1: Sure. You want to call and talk about your health issues? 208-535-1015.

Speaker 2: I know a few of them are quite full of them.

Speaker 1: That's true. All you got to do is scroll Facebook or other social media and you'll go, oh, okay. My date could be going worse. Could be going much worse. So I hope everybody's doing okay. But yeah, before you came in, I was going to just remind listeners to not just share things before they like Google or look into them.

Speaker 2: Well, ever since we talked about life as Idaho, people who listen to us have been sharing their posts. There was a whole post about how to properly say each Idaho city. Why did we need a pronunciation guide for Idaho Falls?

Speaker 1: Yeah, there's only one way to say it.

Speaker 2: Idaho fool. I die.

Speaker 1: Give me a break. The AI generated picture also had Salman instead of salmon. Salman. That's how we say it. You go to that city and you tell them, I'm proud to be in Salman, Idaho.

Speaker 1: Salman, Idaho. Yeah, I saw somebody share an image that said a rest in peace to Sean Crayon of Slipknot. And people were sharing it and everyone's like, oh, my gosh, I Googled around. I couldn't find anything saying that he had passed away.

He was recently in the news because he's having some heart issues and I think has to have heart surgery. But, you know, until you verified something, don't share it. You know, I. There's always a chance one of his friends or family sees the post goes into a panic. It's just not nice.

Speaker 2: Verify people. We just start like putting out posts about listeners dying. Like we just really we just go through a wheel of random names of people that follow us. Yeah. They'll go rest in peace. So and so, so and so. Just share it on social. Gone and but never forgotten.

Speaker 1: Then just let local social media melt down. Yeah.

Speaker 2: Yeah. Rest in peace, crazy J.

Speaker 1: Rest in peace, crazy, crazy Carl. On.

Speaker 2: We don't know what the jinx that.

Speaker 1: That's true. You hope I hope everybody's doing good.

Speaker 2: All right. I guess they are. Nobody called them about their health problems.

Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody's doing great. Nobody called with health issues. So everybody's fine, peaches. Was it yesterday, you know, reported in the news that Oli Sykes bring me the horizon got smashed in the face with a phone during a recent show in St. Louis. He's fine.

Said he had a little bit of a concussion, but he's fine. Don't throw things at people at shows. Those guys actually finished the show. But another star was hit by an item a couple days ago that would be Eric Clapton. And he did not finish the show.

Come on, the guy's 81 years old. Don't chuck things at him. Somebody threw a vinyl record at him like in the case and everything. And it didn't go for his style and like smack him in the head or something. It just kind of hit him flat in the chest. But he was clearly annoyed. You know, not injured in any way, but he's like, all right, I'm done.

I'm out of here. Watch the video of it. You know, it was definitely a little bit less disturbing than the bring me the horizon video where Oli got hit in the face. You see Eric Clapton got hit by a vinyl record peaches. There we go. No, I didn't. Yeah, people knocking off. Stop throwing things.

Speaker 2: Did you see the one video of the guy that threw the rock at the seal? Yeah, I did see that. See what happened to him?

Speaker 1: He got the crap beat out of him. That guy just threw a hand.

Speaker 2: Rightfully so. And the funny part about it is that they showed the congressman showing the video to like the rest of the committee, whatever they're called. And he was smiling the entire time, just so happy. This guy got beat the crap out of.

And I'm like, what do you do after that? Like you are on video abusing a seal and then you get knocked out and millions of people have seen it now.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you're just a big loser. That's what you are. And yeah, that guy, he definitely deserved a good smack and because he's chucking rocks at the seal and he's like, find me. I'm rich.

Speaker 2: And then just oh, he said, I didn't even know about that.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. And then he just got the crap smacked out of it.

Speaker 2: There was a beloved seal, too, I think or something like that.

Speaker 1: I saw something about that. Like, yeah, it must be a seal that people are familiar with.

Speaker 2: So there's a seal going viral in San Francisco named Chonkers. Chonkers. You should see. There's all these normal seals. And then you see this one giant seal. As soon as he gets on the pier, the thing tips over.

Speaker 1: Oh, I got to look up a Chonkers seal here. Chonkers are is it a sea lion? Yes, you have sea lion. So he's he's at large. They're looking for him. They can't find. Geez, he is a chonker. Holy cow. It's the peaches of seals. I knew you were going to say that.

Speaker 2: I'll put my face on them right away.

Speaker 1: Put it on the page or Facebook page. You get on that. I don't think it's the first time I've seen a story like this, but just be cautious when you're driving. And maybe we're going to paint a mural on the side of something. Don't make it look like a tunnel like in Looney Tunes. You know, where Wiley Coyote would try to fool the road runner, paint a tunnel on a rock and then the road runner would end up going through it. And he's like, what does it happen? And then Wiley Coyote, bam, runs into the tunnel. This happened in Scotland this week, where there is a. A mural that sort of looked like a tunnel. It did have two big big eyes.

So, you know, it should have been sort of obvious that it wasn't a tunnel, but a guy just tried to drive into it and yeah, bam. He's all right, I think. Yeah. Oh, wow. They I knew it wasn't the first time I've seen this. There was another incident where somebody had actually pointed or painted a Wiley Coyote mural with two tunnels and somebody smashed into that. If you see a cartoon painted next to a tunnel, don't do it. You know, or double check the old GPS.

Yes. Well, I'm glad nobody was hurt. Well, some people need to pay better attention. All right, we made it to nine. We're going to get through this day, everybody. Appreciate you tuning in and I'll be back in a minute. Hello all. Welcome to the show, the Victor Wilt program on a Wednesday. You'd think it would be common sense, but.

I just found an article called Skipping the opener is a rookie move. Yeah, you're paying for the show. Go see all the bands. You might find your favorite new band opening up for one of your favorite artists.

You've never heard of these guys before and they just blow your mind live. It's happened to me many times. It happened with a lot of now big name bands. System of a down, for example. So I'm open up the first stage of Oz Fest was like, holy crap. These guys are awesome. Next thing you know, they're playing in arenas. Yeah.

So let's see here. This article points out that the openers need you more than the headliner does. All right, they're living in a van. They're not making much money.

Yeah. You know, if you can give them some attention, maybe pick up some merch, you can really help out these up and comers. And, you know, these bands wouldn't bring these opening acts on tour if they didn't think they were good and didn't want you to see them. So you should definitely check them out.

And then you can tell all your friends like, I'm so cool. I knew that band before they were huge. How are you only finding out about them now? Loser. Yeah. And then, yeah, you're getting more bang for your buck.

All right. Get y'all pumped up for the headline and act. Sometimes an opener just gets the adrenaline going. So show up early. Go to the show. Watch all of the acts. Maybe walk away.

Just completely mind blown and with a new favorite band. All right. Yeah. And go see some local bands too.

You should do that. What's happening, my people? Welcome to the Victor Wilt Show. Hello and a good day to you. Let's move them by at a pretty decent pace. I'm low on complaints for the moment, but we'll see how the day continues going. I mean, we've still got the noon hour madness mayhem ahead and all that good stuff. What's happening, peaches?

Speaker 2: Breaking Benjamin released a new track today.

Speaker 1: Breaking Benjamin dropping new music. I do recall hearing that was coming.

Speaker 2: Bairtooth is also going to release in a new song this Friday along with Five Finger Death Punch. Yes. And then we were also sent a clean copy of Playing God. So we're going to make some updates this Friday.

Speaker 1: Yes. And then there's another new song coming next week, but I can't remember if we can say what it is.

Speaker 2: I don't think so. They didn't give me clear instructions. I don't think that's been teased at all. OK.

Speaker 1: But Five Finger has been. Yes.

Speaker 2: OK. Yeah, that's why I wouldn't have said it otherwise.

Speaker 1: OK. So yes, new music from Five Finger Death Punch coming Friday. Lots of other new tracks in the works and coming soon. And you can hear some of those with peaches. It's so new feature, which happens at five. You got it. Five o'clock every week, day, afternoon. Peaches also has the pick of the day, which is, I believe, where you played motionless and white yesterday.

Speaker 2: I played played it for both.

Speaker 1: Oh, you played it for both.

Speaker 2: Very nice. I think it was the first time it's ever happened.

Speaker 1: All right. Well, it's a pretty cool, heavy new track. So I might have to throw it on here in a few.

Speaker 2: I was just about to say you should throw it on.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I should. It's a great clean copy of the song. All right. So you put the chorus to the song. I thought you were going to tell me something. You. So you. OK. Now I got it. I got your message. Wake up.

All right. That's coming up here in a few new motionless and white. And who knows what else? You just hang on. Before I get out of here, I wanted to tell you about this old lady. She's a politician and man, she is an old boomer turd. This lady.

Jeez. There was a 10 year old kid who got an assignment in class to write a persuasive essay of their choosing and then mail it off to a representative, a CEO, whoever the decision maker was to be influential in their persuasive essay points. So this kid, he's 10 years old and he decided he wanted to write about electric vehicles. So he wrote his persuasive essay about why he thought we should have tax rebates for electric cars. He said, you know, they're they're good for the environment.

There's no gas, blah, blah, blah. They don't get into the details of his persuasive essay, but he sent it off to North Carolina Congresswoman. What's her name here? Virginia Fox.

All right. How old is this lady? She looks ancient.

She has got to be like really old. Anyway, she writes the kid back, you know, and says she disagrees with his proposal. And then she starts sort of citing a bunch of news articles. And then at the end she goes, ask your teacher to explain propaganda to you.

I will never be able to know. My guess is that your teacher will not be able to give you a good educational experience by helping you because they're too interested in indoctrinating you. How sad. This is a 10 year old kid. Settle down, lady. Geez. And I try to be maybe encouraging to the youth. It's fine for you to give your opinion, but I don't know. This lady sold you probably was around when electricity was created.

You'd think she'd be a fan. Yeah. Gosh. Well, I mean, at least the lady wrote them back. I guess, you know, have you ever gotten a letter from a local or state politician?

And it's like, I don't know if they really wrote this. Oh, so yeah, I guess your kid gets an assignment to send out a persuasive essay to someone who might be able to do something about it. Avoid politicians because apparently they're so out of control now.

They can't even not berate children. Geez. All right. I'm going to get out of here and peaches and I'll be back in a few hours, couple hours for the noon hour of madness and mayhem. Hope your morning's going good.

Hope Wednesday goes by fast and let's just have some fun. All right. As I head out, leave you with story of the year and gasoline. Appreciate you. Thank you again for tuning in to the Victor Wilt Show. This program is a production of Riverbend Media Group to contact the show or for more information, hit us up at riverbendmediagroup.com.
