#0404 - Idaho Fights About Berries While Elon Musk Bombards The Moon - 08/05/2026
Speaker 1: Well, hello and good morning and welcome to Wednesday. What is up, everybody? Wednesday not good enough. Needs to be Friday. That'll happen eventually. How's the morning treating you so far? I hope pretty good. I'm I'm eight so far, other than you know, it's garbage day in my neighborhood. So this morning, saw that all the neighbors had their garbage out. I already had mine out as well. You know, of course, remembered right when I needed to go to sleep.
Oh crap. I need to like deal with some laundry and the cat boxes and the garbage. And so my garbage was already out and good to go, but uh, you know, Becca had been mowing the lawn recently, as mentioned on this program.
So I had this uh in a garbage can, thankfully with a bag in it, just packed to the brim with uh some grass clippings, and uh I went and stuck it in my neighbor's garbage can this morning. When I did so, did it did it with my left arm. You know, the right arm's still kinda my right wrist still kind of funky.
Might have the doc look at that today, even though I don't want to give them more money. Uh but yeah, I used my left arm to wrench this bag into the uh neighbor's garbage. They had plenty of room, okay? Jeez. And it's just grass clippings. It's not like I was throwing out body parts.
Anyway, uh yeah, managed to uh wrench up my back real nice right before I jumped in my truck. Good start to the day. Could be worse though, alright? At least I'm not that busted up. At least I didn't fall down or something. So uh that's where my morning's at so far. Uh, due to dealing with the nasty leaf garbage bag. I'm gonna go wash my hands.
That's right, people. Wash your dirty, filthy hands, and um then I'm gonna start digging for content and uh maybe have myself a nice water. Uh I'm a ball of excitement these days. I already had the caffeine. We'll give it a few to see if it does anything, and then maybe I'll have some more. But yeah, it's where I'm at. It's an okay start to the day. I'll dig into the news and see uh how tragic the state of the world is and report back here in a few. Alright, do I have any uh super villain type music? I don't know.
This'll have to do. Has Elon Musk gone full supervillain. I think he's trying to destroy the moon. I saw this headline and I'm like, is this the onion? Is this real?
And I guess it is. SpaceX rocket crashes into moon at seven times the speed of sound. The wayward part of the rocket hitting the moon was expected to cause the same impact as an explosion of three tons of TNT. This was not intentional is what they're saying. I guess when the rocket separated, they should have done it a little bit different or something.
They didn't, so... Portion of the rocket crashes into the moon. It's going to leave a meter, or a, Sorry, a crater, like 30, 40 meters across. We're not gonna be able to see the crater, I guess, from Earth. Maybe with a good telescope, but space experts are waiting to monitor the results, which could take days. So I guess see, I don't know how much damage was done to the moon. Now, if we start blasting big craters into the moon, could that cause us problems? I don't know, I'm not a scientist.
I'm not gonna just throw my thoughts out there and be like, yeah, here's what's gonna happen. I saw it on Facebook. No, I don't know. But yeah, they're not too concerned about it, I guess, but they are concerned about the amount of crap floating around in space. Have you heard about space junk? When I was hanging out with Lou Brutus, was it last year? Me and Peaches, we were out at uh craters of the moon doing some midnight photography. And Lou had this app that would show you everything that's in the sky, and you wouldn't believe how much of it is just space junk. Like we're we're just chucking garbage into space. Maybe that's the landfill solution, right? Out of sight, out of mind. Throw it into space.
Dig a hole. Nobody'll see it. We'll all be gone by what whatever time the real problems start. Anyway.
Um, Elon Musk has not claimed that he has any intent to destroy the moon. But I don't know. I don't know.
Seems fishy. So Poppy played that song at the show Friday night in Salt Lake City, which was cool. You know, it's a pretty good song.
But I realized at the time. I'm turning into one of those people that's ready to complain about the set list at most shows. It must be something about getting older.
I want the songs from back when I first started liking this artist. Meh. It's happened with a lot of bands recently. Poppy's set list was fine, but as is the case with most bands when they've got new material out, they're gonna put a bunch of that in the set list. And I think her set list she only had like two songs, two or three that weren't from the last two albums. Now I really like those albums, but my favorite is I Disagree.
The only song that she played off that album was Concrete, which is a great song. Might have to hear it here in a few, but no blood money, no I disagree. Come on. I mean, the set was still great. I just think that the previous show I went to with Ben from the Advocate's injury attorneys, I don't know, a year or two ago. I think we got spoiled with the set list on that one.
Same thing happened with Sleep Token. They put on an amazing show in Salt Lake City when Beck and I went down and saw him at was it was it the Maverick Center? I think it was. Great set list, Amazing show. I had no complaints about the show. But the show I saw him at previous was prior to the release of the new album, and I thought it had a perfect set list and flow from start to finish. And a lot more songs off Take Me Back to Eden, which I think is a superior album when compared to Even in Arcadia, which again is a good album. It's good.
But it ain't no take me back to Eden. Happened with Ghost over the years. Feel like I got spoiled at the beginning, right around the time Proquel came out.
I think that's when we were the luckiest. After that, I and it's not that I dislike the newer ghost albums. I think they're really good. They're, you know, a little too 80s for my taste, because I like the old sludgy ghost that was more black Sabbath doom style. A little more proggy, but you know to each their own. But the last time I saw Ghost, I'm like, eh. Could you guys maybe cut out some of these newer songs and play some old stuff?
That'd be cool. Even though I still enjoy every song at the show. The only band I can think of that. I didn't like it mad. Well, okay, I didn't get mad at any of these other bands.
What am I talking about? But when Tool comes out and they seem to play, you know, mostly newer material. I love those songs so much that I don't get too frustrated. But holy crap. You know, now that I sit here and think about it, I mean, Tool has put together the same set list, it seems like, and basically the same stage setup since Fear Inoculum came out. Could we get a little bit of uh eulogy tool? Maybe, you know, how about some eulogy at a live show or ticks and leeches or how about third eye?
How about uh parabola? I could go on and on. Vicarious. The last tool show I saw was great.
It was amazing. But this is just how it is when you're a really big fan of a band and they've got certain material that's your favorite. You go to the show and you're like, uh could have been a little better if they played more of the songs that I like. I could say the same thing about 9 inch nails when we saw him in Salt Lake. Great show. Eh, can I just be in charge of putting together a set list for every band on the planet?
Probably not. Well, hello everybody, and welcome to the Victor World program on a Wednesday morning. Sorry it ain't Friday. It's not my fault.
Alright. What was I looking at here? I was like totally ready to go, and then I just lost all train of thought.
I'm an idiot. Okay, I guess we could look at this. What's a 9 out of 10 or 10 out of 10 game that you'll never play again because of one small thing or section? Hmm. That's a pretty tough question.
Like, there are games that you know have challenging sections, but the fact that they're 10 out of 10 means I'd give it another go. Like, say Super Meat Boy. I've beaten every level on Super Meat Boy.
Well, I think aside from some of the like warp levels. But you know, the very end of the game. Not the like.
You know, what's the word I'm looking for here? Jeez, my stupid brain! But not the first end, but the you know, you get the bonus levels at the end, the bandage girl levels, the pink levels. Oh, do I want to play through those again?
I mean, I r recall feeling very accomplished when I completed them, but holy cow. I I wonder if they've got a death count on uh Super Meat Boy. If I pulled it up, opened up the game if it would say how many thousands of times I died in that game. Let's see what uh other games people are saying are you know amazing.
9 out of 10 or 10 out of 10 games, but they'll never play them again because of one small thing. Uh this person said cyberpunk's braindance sections are always so tedious. I have Cyberpunk on my PC. My PC's screwed up, so I haven't played it. So I don't know, I can't judge that one, but I do want to play Cyberpunk pretty bad.
Oh, how dare they! Red Dead 2. Alright, this person says I finished it 100% completion twice.
Well, they're even more nuts than me. I mean, I've finished the game I think three or four times. I've only 100% completed it one time.
I'm currently trying to 100% it a second time. But they say the tutorial area really sucks the life out of me. Yeah, the very beginning of the game, it's kind of slow. It's teaching you how to play the game. It's not my favorite part of the game, but this guy he said he's he saves right at chapter two, so he can just start playing right there. Um I would definitely play Red Dead again. No matter how tedious the snow section is at the beginning of the game, and know how m- no matter how much I hate snow.
Uh Metal Gear Solid 5. This person says they really enjoyed it first time through, but can't be bothered with crawling through the hospital at the start again. I used to not be into stealth games. I had no patience, I just like to barrel through everything. But uh, I think The Last of Us got me more into that kind of thing.
It takes two. The Elephant Scene. That's a game I've started before. Um didn't make it to the elephant scene, so I don't know. Outer Wilds.
They said you can only experience it once unless you lose your memory. It's got a lot of votes there. Uh a game I've heard of. I I don't remember if I bought that on my PC or not. I have so many games on my PC, and then it like crapped out on me.
Not essentially like crapped out. It I got a heating issue, a cooling issue, I should say. So I could have it. Uncharted. Uh, they said the jet ski exploding barrels section was so frustrating. You know, and I would say like battletoads, I'd never play that again. But I recently played it.
Maybe it was a year or two ago. Recorded myself on my computer, beating the uh the they're not like jet skis, but the jet bike area, considered one of the hardest sections in any video game ever. And I was like, yeah, look at that, I did it. I got it done.
What you got, fools? And then I never posted the uh video online. I should have.
Might have gone well, not viral, but would have got me some likes. Breath of the Wild? The weapon degradation system destroys my enjoyment of the game. Yeah, you know, it is annoying in Breath of the Wild how your weapons break, but here's what you gotta do, dude. You gotta get yourself the master sword.
Get yourself the master sword. Breath of the Wild would be another really good playthrough. It's an excellent game, it's fantastic. This person says most of the games at Rockstar makes. I don't know, they they I played through San Andreas a while back and it was still really good.
I mean, sure it was dated, but it wasn't too bad. Sorry, I was just talking with Becca earlier about how I wished I was just sitting at home with her playing video games. So video game thread pops up.
I gotta read through it. I don't know why. It's not like I'm gonna go home and play video games today.
I got a busy afternoon of appointments. Oh yuck. Not looking forward to that. Oh well. Well, I was trying to dig for something silly and fun to talk about, and a lot of political news floating around.
I was talking with a friend the other day. They're like, you know, shouldn't make political posts on your Facebook page, man. Shouldn't speak your mind, man. I'm like, dude, I'd keep it pretty tame. What once in a while I'll make a political post. Once in every great while.
And they're always really tame. But I don't know what point I was going out with this. I I guess ultimately, like, you should be able to speak your mind. I I think there are a lot of people in positions where you know they they worry that, oh, if I get my opinion out there. I don't know, maybe people are gonna tune out. I I don't talk much politics on this program, like like ever, unless I'm making fun of something. Are you ready for me to make fun of Democrats?
Heck yeah, you are, East Idaho. And that's what makes me mad. Like, I'm willing to throw anybody under the bus, all right, when they need to be. But some people, I guess they just hold on to a couple little things and worry too much. We should be able to have discussions, we should be able to share opinions and not have to worry about uh, oh, somebody might, you know, get upset because you shared a thought.
Unless it's like, you know, a real hateful or uh damaging threatening thought. Anyway, I am loving the uh Civil the civil war happening inside of the uh Democratic Party. It is really fun to watch. Because, as I've pointed out uh in comments and maybe on this show from time to time, what a bunch of gutless do nothings the Democrats are. And listen, I lean left, as you know, but they just don't ever seem to accomplish anything. So, right now in that party, they've got a split going on. You've got and it's it's kind of the same thing that happened in the Republican Party, you know, back in 2016. You had this uh split between traditional conservatives and MAGA. Now with the Democratic Party, they've got this split between traditional Democrats and uh the uh Democratic Socialists, and boy are the traditional Democrats just losing their mind. They're acting, you know, well, pretty much everyone's losing their mind about this because these uh Democratic Socialist candidates keep winning.
And it's just it's like groundhogs day, okay. Travel back in time to 2016, okay? The Republican establishment. We can't get behind a guy like Trump, bro!
We're gonna lose everything. And they were all just totally wrong because they weren't listening to the will of the people. The people wanted something completely different. I think the public's very sick of establishment do nothing career politicians, and that's why we've started to see things on both sides go to uh more toward the extreme candidates, you know, that uh have a lot stronger take on the issues, not just kind of floating around in the middle hoping that they can be so tame that everyone's gonna vote for them.
I think people are sick of that. So uh you've got these uh guys like what oh, what's that guy's name? Henry Cargill or something, uh some old fogy who's like rocks to the end of the world, standard world, they're gonna destroy the party. Uh MAGA did pretty good. Yeah, you remember when uh that was gonna destroy the Republican Party? I don't know, they hold all branches of government. Maybe the uh do nothing Democrats should take a look and maybe take a page out of the MAGA playbook and go, oh, okay, well, people seem to like these candidates, whether or not we get it, or they you know, follow our traditional plan.
Maybe we should just kinda rally together. But again, they they can't look at the past and see. I I saw one guy say it, like this is they're they're basically doing to the Democratic Party what MAGA did to the Republican Party. What? When that's what MAGA did to the Republican Party.
They won like crazy. So uh I don't know, we just gotta get these old boomers out of here. Just all of them on both sides. Democrat, Republican, all these establishment politicians, career politicians. We need term limits, and uh I say let it all go crazy.
All right, let's get the nuts versus the nuts. This point, at least it might give me something interesting to talk about. But the world is not gonna end.
Well, okay, maybe I shouldn't say that. I mean, we could get struck by a meteor, but but I'm loving it. I'm loving seeing the infighting, because again, I think uh most people who kind of lean left feel like that the party of the left hasn't done anything for ages.
You know, they just sit back and they just do nothing. So anyway, it's gonna be a frustrating political season coming up in a couple months. Can't wait for the ads to be done, though. And then maybe I'll have something else to talk about. Uh we're not gonna talk any more politics on the show.
Okay. Did you tune out? Did you tune out? Because I had a uh little bit of uh political thought. Do you hate my guts now? Never want to hear from me again. I hope not. You gotta settle down if that's how you're feeling.
Where to begin here on Freak News today. Alright, what's this delete request and opt-out platform drop, giving you more control over your data? You can tell data brokers to delete and not sell your personal information. Oh, this is only in California. Oh, well, that'd be nice. You know, if we could uh wipe as much of our personal information from the internet and stop people from selling it.
Boy, would it be great to not get so much junk email and all those texts? Hey, hey, did you know you're eligible for a loan? Hey, this is so-and-so calling you from the loan company. Hey, you want you want some money?
Come on, we'll give you a loan. Alright, well, nice to see politicians doing something for once for our privacy. Um, I recently watched an episode of last week tonight with John Oliver, and I would encourage everyone to watch it. Now, John Oliver, a lot of people don't like him because he tends to lean left. This latest episode is something for everybody, okay?
No matter what side you fall on politically. I've seen a lot of discussion about surveillance happening right here in our community. So I shared the episode on my Facebook page. I found it really interesting. You know, we're seeing a lot of talk going on with uh flock cameras and things like that. Flock cameras are only the beginning when it comes down to police surveillance and things like that. I can't wait to get Lieutenant Crane in here on Friday so I can grill him on all of these different uh pieces of technology that are available to law enforcement to snoop on us and I don't know how how bad we've got it around here compared to some other places, but some of this technology I'd never heard of before, and it was definitely disturbing.
So you should definitely watch the latest episode of last week tonight. It's just called police surveillance technology. You can find it on my personal Facebook page or on YouTube. Uh, if you're not like me, I I didn't know a lot about these flock camera things. We talked a bit about them earlier in the week and uh I think last week as well.
Uh I found this episode to be very informative. Uh especially with some of this other technology that's floating around out there. I mean, I I knew we were being watched all the time. Like I mentioned, you know, we got these uh tracking devices we carry with us everywhere we go called cell phones, but things are a lot worse than I thought after watching that episode. Crazy.
Alright. What else do we got going on here in freak news? More food poisoning. Okay, this isn't explosive diarrhea, and this happened in Minnesota. Uh, this was just regular old food poisoning, salmonella. If you recently flew to Minneapolis and ate at Chipotle, uh, might want to get yourself checked out if you were mowing down jalapenos.
Cause um, yeah. Got about a hundred and ten diners that are not having a very good time. If you've ever had food poisoning, it sucks. But at least they identified it uh quickly, right? Hopefully. Uh let's see, somebody lit a crematorium on fire.
Why? I don't know. But it says the two fires were reportedly started on purpose at the site. Um.
Okay, I guess they managed to get it uh put out there. Everyone's fine. Why would you try to burn down a crematorium? Well, I mean, there have been some stories in the news of uh funeral directors who have gotten a little bit uh unprofessional. There was a pretty wild story out of pokey a few years ago, if I recall correctly, involving a local funeral home. Nobody tried to burn it down though, as far as I'm aware. And let's see, man found in freezer had been dead four to ten years, and no one ever reported him missing in Anchorage, Alaska.
That's sad. Let's see, they're trying to determine whether his death was concealed for financial gain. Okay, so maybe you had family members and he was getting like uh, you know, retirement checks or social security or something like that. But uh four to ten years sitting in a chest freezer in an outbuilding on this family's property.
I guess some family members are like, I wonder what's in this freezer, and they go open it up, ah! AHH! So, um, yeah.
That's it it sounds shady to me. If it was simply that well, no one cared. That's sad. That's sad, but hopefully, uh the Anchorage Police can figure it out. I'm I opened my freezer last night when I was in the middle of uh cleaning litter boxes and things like that.
Not like back and forth, all right. I just happened to just check it. You know, I don't open it too often. The chest freezer. I was like, oh, what what if there's like a rotten turkey in there?
This could be a really bad time. Chest freezer was working. Alright. We have reached eight. It's not late enough, but it's something. We're making it through, people making it toward that weekend. What's the weather gonna be like this weekend? Is it good? Huckleberry picking weather?
I don't know. I think it's supposed to be scorching hot. Certainly got warm yesterday. At least in the afternoon. Alright, let's see here.
Let's go to We'll do Idaho Falls since it's uh centrally located between Pocatello and Rexburg. Good and average here. Hey, today's not looking horrible. High of about 89, and they've downgraded the weekend from in the triple digits to 99 for the high on Friday.
So not too shabby. Geez, on my way here this morning, it was kind of brisk. I actually turned the heater on in my car. Or truck, I guess. But anyway, it's been a while since I had to do that.
So entering into that time of year where it's uh heater in the morning, AC in the afternoon. Anyway, speaking of Huckleberries, why are people around here so weird when it comes to Huckleberries? People act like they're uh hiding gold bars out in the woods. Somebody posted on Reddit in the Idaho subreddit. Hey, anybody having any luck finding healthy populations of Huckleberries? Our normal spot in East Idaho is frozen early and non-producing. I've heard mixed reviews on other areas of the state holding huckleberries and was wondering if it would be worth the drive. Just somebody wanting to pick berries, right? These are just wild berries that grow in the woods. Why don't Why don't you go back to California?
People are ooh, very protective of Huckleberries. Just tell the people where to go. It's hot as crap outside. It's smoky, it's unpleasant. Let people go pick the stupid berries.
Right? Yeah, people started yelling at him. I mean, thankfully, we had one person who's like, you know, central Idaho, 3500 to 5,000 feet. I found a lot. You know, they weren't specific though.
Like, okay, Central Idaho's a big area. Yeah. But oh man. The war in the comments there over berries. Like, settle down, everybody. And worse comes to worse, just go buy some.
I don't know. I don't care how good Huckleberries are. You ain't gonna get me out in the woods at 100 degrees in the smoke to find berries, okay?
I'll just go buy blueberries at Winco. Good enough. So, yeah, share your spots with people, alright?
Let people get out and have a good time. They're just berries. Okay. Are you selling them and making bank? No.
Megan Jam. That's what you're making. Happy Wednesday, everybody.
I hope it's going good for you. Alright, let's see. I need conspiracy music. Alright. Let's uh talk about the end of the world. So we've got three cosmic events according to this website happening on the 12th that will transform the August 2026 sky as an eclipse, meteor shower, and planets align. Yeah, one of the most interesting dates for astronomy enthusiasts around the world. You can check out uh if you're in the right spot, a total solar eclipse, which, by the way, if you ever get the chance to see a total solar eclipse, do not pass it up. I know we had one happen here a few years ago. And it was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen.
And I feel really bad because I've talked to a few people who like they didn't realize you could take the glasses off when you reach totality and just look right at the eclipse when the sky, you know, goes completely dark. It it was so crazy. But it didn't make me go, oh, the world's gonna end!
You know how the internet is. Yeah, so the fact that there's gonna be this uh total solar eclipse, uh, the peak of the Perseed, if I'm saying that right, meteor shower, and a rare gathering of six planets visible before sunrise. Has people online going, oh, it's a cosmic reset, we're all gonna die. Um it's gonna be fine, everybody. Okay. Maybe I shouldn't say that. I don't want to jinx it, but these are just things that happen, okay. Get your uh your telescope out, cruise out to craters of the moon, and check it out.
All right. You might be able to see dozens of meteors crossing the sky every hour. And under excellent conditions, the number of visible meteors could reach around a hundred per hour. And uh, let's see, they say the best time to watch the meteor shower will be during the hours before sunrise. So, yeah, you you'll go out to a dark sky area, do some camping, stay up late or wake up early, and you can check it all out. But try to avoid spreading the end of the world fears, okay. Nobody wants to wake up on a Wednesday and scroll Facebook and see the apocalypse coming. It's like, could you just give me a laugh to start the day? Come on now. Oh, wait. It's early, and I'm the one talking about this. We're all gonna be fine, everybody, okay? It's just a neat celestial event. Enjoy it.
Hi, Jade. Also push a button there. Yeah, I didn't realize that that uh song was over there.
We were talking about, you know, exciting, just mind-blowing stuff like translator legal IDs and radio locator.com. That's right. That's good stuff, dude. It's exciting.
Who needs to talk about, I don't know, poop news when we've got exciting things like that to talk about. Ugh, I was just looking at pictures of these Spokane fires and it's gnarly over there.
Speaker 2: Yeah, man. I feel really bad for anyone that lives in that town.
Speaker 1: I did before this happened. And so now I feel really terrible. Yeah. Did I tell you about when I went to Wallace? Um, me and Becca, we were on our way to Washington to uh move a bunch of my daughter's crap back because apparently she doesn't have storage, and hey, dad's got a garage, he doesn't need to park anywhere during the winter. Um so we stopped in Wallace, decided to uh stop and get a beverage at a local pub, and should have just kept on driving. Wallace is a nice town. Haven't you been to Wallace? A long time ago. It's cool, dude. It's like, you know, just out in the middle of nowhere in the mountains.
Speaker 2: Uh is that the center of the universe, Wallace?
Speaker 1: The center of the universe. Yeah, yeah. So anyway, we you know, go find a dive, go in, and we're just chatting with the uh the bartender there, and he's like, Yeah, so what are you guys doing? Like, well, we're headed to Washington. We're gonna stay in Spokane tonight. He's like, nah, just keep going. You don't want to stay there. That place was a dump.
Speaker 2: I don't know, I've had some good times in Spokane.
Speaker 1: Have you? Yeah. I've I've never really hung out there. I mean, we stayed overnight,
Speaker 2: but well, back in the band days, no, we'd go through there on tour quite often.
Speaker 1: Yeah, he was like, don't go downtown. Just don't.
Speaker 2: That's where we play. I always had a good time. Well, and It wasn't it wasn't the prettiest place, but you know.
Speaker 1: Well, it's kind of like when I heard about uh Tiwana when I was gonna go there, and they're like, it's the most dangerous city in the world. I'm like, okay, so I'm out by myself on foot, bored, just walking around to kill time every day. I'm like, this place ain't that bad.
Speaker 2: It's only when you're close to the border.
Speaker 1: Yeah, or if you uh go into certain areas of town. I I didn't go into those areas.
Speaker 2: I did. That's why I'm never going back to Tijuana.
Speaker 1: But I've been to like bad areas of Vegas or other large cities. How bad could Spokane really be? It's Spokane.
Speaker 2: You know, depends on how hot it is, I guess.
Speaker 1: Okay. Well, when it's and it was actually on fire when we drove through. Yeah. It was kind of crazy. Just all right. Let's just keep going. Holy crap. But yeah, it's just like when people post in like life in Idaho Falls or in the Idaho subreddit, and hey, I'm moving here. What are the areas of Idaho Falls to avoid?
All of it. Oh, it's so scary here. Don't come here. Well, the place is crime written. I mean, you can't walk the streets without being strapped to the gills. Like, is there any area of town you'd be afraid to walk through at any time of night? No.
No, me either. Any. Any area of town. I mean, there might be some annoying people. Like, I think the area that I would be most avoidant toward would be downtown at nighttime because of irritating drunk people.
Speaker 2: Right around 2 a.m. Yeah. On one particular street by one particular establishment.
Speaker 1: Yep, I'm not gonna name them. But I know exactly which one you're talking about.
Speaker 2: I will avoid that spot at all costs. That's one establishment.
Speaker 1: 2 a.m. Yeah, I I don't even go in there before 2 a.m. Just because I don't want somebody to try to start a fight with me. All right. Back in the day, that was a fun spot. Yeah, that was a little bit different back in the day.
But uh pretty much the only time, and I didn't feel unsafe. I was just annoyed was with uh yeah, the downtown drunkards. And for some reason, I've got a face people don't like. They see my face and they want to talk some smack.
I uh I understand that. Well, I don't get I don't like your face. I looked at my face in the mirror this morning, like it's just fine. Because you you were born with it. I'm used to maybe that's it.
Speaker 2: 44 years of looking at that horrific dumpster fire of a face.
Speaker 1: Like I've had every type of person, strangers talk crap to me for no reason in downtown Idaho Falls. I like your face! Like one was uh, you know, crackhead and a cowboy hat. This this guy was hammered. You know, he wants to start a fight. I just walked away, he and then he started trying to fight somebody else. Uh then there was like just a normal dude in the middle of the day, walking with his friends, and one of them was like, I think that's Victor Wilt. And you're like, Oh give a crap who that is. He used different language, and I'm like walking toward him like, is this guy just gonna punch me in the face?
Speaker 2: So that would have been awesome.
Speaker 1: And then another night, these two punch Victor in the face. Another night, these two women come up to me and just start talking crap on me. Are you the guy from the radio? You suck, dude. That doesn't happen to me.
Speaker 2: I was I was uh perusing downtown this last week and the weekend before. And uh tons of people.
Speaker 1: Great beard, dude! You look good! You're on the radio!
Speaker 2: Well, not really, but you know, you're on it right now. Nobody wanted to punch me, maybe it's just you.
Speaker 1: Hey, it it must just be me.
Speaker 2: You do have a very punchable face.
Speaker 1: The women didn't try to punch me, they were just talking crap. But I think what they really wanted to do, they just wanted to talk to me. They were looking for an excuse. And they were they were hammered, you know. Don't make yourself feel special. The ladies can't help themselves when it comes to the city.
Speaker 2: Oh, they wanted to punch you too walking by, yeah. Just any of them see me, they're like, oh, it's Victor Will. That's more like ah!
Speaker 1: Man, I'm glad that I have good neighbors. I live in a nice neighborhood. I mean, nothing fancy or anything, but my neighbors are chill, all right. I don't have to worry about them doing something like harming my pets. If I annoy them, they tend to just call me, be like, hey, can you stop making so much racket? Unlike this guy. Peaches, this guy might have been listening to a podcast of the noon hour of madness. Man, weren't we talking about killing fish a while back?
Speaker 3: We were, and you're talking about the story I brought up to you yesterday. About the guy who uh used motor oil.
Speaker 1: Yes. What a horrible, horrible person this guy is. Yeah, of course. Old guy. Sorry, older listener. 76 year old Jerry Duffy. This is out of London. I guess he was driven completely insane, quote, by the noise of a water pump in his neighbor's pond. Um, I've got a fountain for the cats. So it's got a little water pump in it. I mean, I would assume much smaller than a pond's pump. But it doesn't make very much noise, Peaches. Um what is a pond's water pump sound like?
Speaker 3: Well, I told you about it yesterday. Like there was a time where my family and I tried camping in the backyard. And it was one of the silliest things ever, but we just wanted to be fun with it, you know.
So we all get in the tent, we're all trying to sleep. The the neighbor that's like behind my parents' house. Oh, you just heard the whole time as their swimming pool filter. Oh, there's one, yeah. So I can imagine if it was sounded like that, I'd probably kill the fish too.
Speaker 1: Jeez. me. Well, uh, if you don't want to um deal with sounds from neighbors, you should probably move to a rural area.
Speaker 3: Or be like uh the movie seven, just give a box to the guy.
Speaker 1: Like, for some reason, one of my neighbors recently, I don't know if he just really likes his truck or what, but he'll just go, I can just hear it. He's just out there revving it.
Speaker 3: There was a guy in Rexburg that we had to deal with one time where he just was in the parking lot of the apartment complex. And he's like some lifted truck, and there was nothing special about it. We watched, and he was just sitting in his truck. There's two friends, they're going, okay, cool. The entire time.
Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, but I sleep really heavy, so I could sleep through anything pretty much.
Speaker 3: I I I have this uh old lady, so there's this so I'm trying to f I'm trying to take a nap, and this old lady walks by my apartment screaming, Charlie!
Speaker 1: Charlie! All right, that might wake me up.
Speaker 3: So I go, shut up! And then And then just she stops talking and walks away right then.
Speaker 1: Yeah, like you know, Becca will be hanging out, and she, you know, sometimes stays up later than me, and she'll be like, I'm gonna go watch TV in the living room. I'm like, no, go ahead, watch it in here. I can just crash right out. You know, it's a big TV, it's bright, have it cranked up pretty loud. I can just bam, crash out. So neighbor pump sound. I don't know. Even when my neighbor was running an excavator in his backyard, the neighbor right behind me, he's out there, you know, he's digging. Slept right through it.
Speaker 3: Yeah, those kids were playing soccer by my place again, too. Like just recently. Just kids being kids. And I wanted to grab the axe and just full on like walk out there and just obliterate the soccer ball.
Speaker 1: So, yeah, this guy, I guess he uh at first like jumped over the fence and then uh broke the neighbor's um pump, like just busted up a bunch of pipes and stuff, but then yeah, resulted or resorted to uh motor oil and detergent and just kills all his fish. What what a psychopath.
Speaker 3: I want to hear you do a British accent, pretending to be this guy.
Speaker 1: Uh, you always want me to pull one out, and I I need to like practice. Are there YouTube videos that will teach you how to talk British? Well, let's find out here. Maybe I can uh quickly learn British accent. Teach me British accent now. Not accent reduction. Okay, here's a guy who says copy my accent. All Alright, let's see what he's got.
Speaker 4: Hello, everyone. My name is Dylan.
Speaker 1: My name's Dylan. Brand new video. Brand new video. Hi there. I post fun and entertaining English. Let's jump ahead to your uh a hundred daily words in a British accent.
Speaker 4: Before we get to the accent. Hello, everyone. Just get to it, buddy. Struggling with, I would also recommend writing this down and then repeating that section until you feel a hundred percent confident.
Speaker 1: He sounds exactly like Ally G, this guy. Which I guess would make sense.
Speaker 3: Isn't that Sasha Baron Cohen's like real voice? Yeah. Yeah, I was gonna say pretty much.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 4: In a British accent. Enjoy. Word number one. Time. Time. Time. Time. Time. Time.
Speaker 1: Time. I'm not gonna learn one British word at a time. Time. Oh, I'm not gonna learn one British word at a time. That's more Australian. I'm going to go Australian.
Speaker 3: I'm going to chat GPT and say I can't do it. Can you phonetically sound out how to say I'm going to kill your fish if I were talking in a British accent?
Speaker 1: I don't know why I always just go Australian. Because I'm like, I'm gonna kill them fish. That's what all I'm gonna do. I don't even know what accent that is. I'm just crying. Coin the Bobby. You call that a fish. I'll show you a fish.
Speaker 3: They gave it gave it to me. I'm going to kill your fish.
Speaker 1: Like grandpa needs a new hobby. If you're 76 years old and you're just out killing the neighbor's fish.
Speaker 3: If you want more cockney, I'm going to kill your fish.
Speaker 1: That sounded more cowboy.
Speaker 3: Look at this. That's what it shows. Alright.
Speaker 1: I'm going. Kill your fish. That's what it says. Yeah. Alright, Chad GPT. I think that's a fail. That's that's how you talk like a hick. Try the top one. All right, the top one here. I'm going to kill your fish. It still sounded Australian. I can't do it. I can't do a British accent. It's always Australian sounding.
Speaker 3: The Amity Affliction has a song. I believe it's Bleed. Uh-huh. Where out of nowhere, this guy just comes in and then he's he's talking he's talking with a thick Australian accent. You just reminded me of that.
Speaker 1: Oh, I got some spiders and s I I can't do it. I'm not gonna embarrass myself. All right, we made it to nine. Let's play some songs, find some more crap. Oh, I just remembered I gotta do a bunch of crap after work. Ah. Oh, and JD. Sorry, I just remembered I was gonna play some uh Judas Priest, and I just forgot. I'll I'll get some of that going quick. I I swear.
I swear. Alright, this article I just read is why I think we need to require some type of firearms training before people should be able to just get out and get a gun. Too many people are stupid.
They're dumb, uneducated, and untrained. Uh, this kid. Okay, he's not a kid, he's 21 years old.
He's a man, I guess. Uh note to 21-year-olds. You're still a kid.
Sorry. I mean, I'd still call Peaches a kid. You're younger than me, you're a kid. Alright.
Anyway. So this 21-year-old man was seriously injured when he accidentally shot himself in the leg. So he's hanging out with his girlfriend, and he had just purchased a 9mm. And she's filming him demonstrating how to use it.
So he's like, check it out. Got my new nine. Let me show you how to rack this baby. And then, yeah, he just blasts himself in the leg, hits a major artery. Thankfully, a tourniquet was applied at the scene, and uh they had to give the guy CPR.
Uh he's in critical but stable condition and undergoing surgery. All right, all you people who are all about uh gun rights and things like that, these are the kind of stories that lead to people you know wanting to crack down a bit. I I don't see anything wrong with requiring a little bit of training myself, and that's coming from a guy who used to sell guns, okay. I sold guns of all types. I had my uh, what was it?
FFA license. Uh, you know, anyway. As someone who uh, you know, wants people to be able to purchase what they'd like.
You gotta speak out against these kind of things, okay? Let's get a little bit of training going on here. Plus, we we don't want to see people just end up, you know, accidentally shooting themselves in a major artery in the leg and dying because they didn't have proper training with firearms, okay. I'm sure there are classes around here you could take. Probably local gun shops. Find a buddy, you know, but maybe there's some uh shooting groups.
I don't know. Go to Guns and Gear. You know, they do stuff there, they got a shooting range. You can learn it all. Train yourself. And it could just be a karma thing, but just maybe don't film yourself playing with your firearm.
It's not the first time there've been one of these videos. So, Peach is I take it you are inspired right now. Oh, yeah. Feeling creative. Because we've heard you talk a little bit about your apartment before and how big a fan you are of certain aspects of it.
Speaker 3: I feel like the maintenance guy hates me. Well, that one time that I You're pretty hateable. My my front door wouldn't shut. Remember that? And then we've in the winter. Yeah, and the maintenance guy was like, let's wait till Monday.
And it was Saturday morning. I'm like, no, you're fixing this now. And then so we made fun of him on the air, all three of us, me, you and Jade. And ever since then, he has like not responded to me at all.
Anytime I put in a maintenance request, I get a call from the person he reached out to, but never him. Wow. Yeah. Burn and Bridges, Peaches. Well, if he sucks, he sucks.
Speaker 1: Are you gonna make a uh disc track? Sure. About the guy. Let me channel my inner MM. Yeah, I guess some uh comedian is having problems with his landlord, so he made a uh disc track and music video. Is it Bo Burnham? Uh no, it's uh Caleb Hearin. I've never heard of him. Okay. Bo Burnham, he he's just like not around anymore, is he? What happened to that guy?
Speaker 3: Well, I know like the last time he released music, COVID happened and all of that.
Speaker 1: So Yeah, you put out that special during COVID called what, inside.
Speaker 3: Yeah, people are kind of concerned that if he does do another comedy special that something drastically bad's gonna happen. Hmm.
Speaker 1: Kind of like uh when Ghost put out that album about the plague. That was right before the pandemic, too. Yeah, Bo Burnham. Uh that's the last time I recall seeing anything about him was uh very beginning of the pandemic with that inside uh special. Did you watch that? No. I I didn't either.
Speaker 3: I I don't care for like the inside COVID stuff. I really just like the one time we tried watching Norm McDonald's special.
Speaker 1: Well, that was just you can't do a comedy special without an audience, I don't think. It it just didn't work.
Speaker 3: It was just him staring at the camera and he was there two feet away from you. It was awkward. Yeah.
Speaker 1: And but I think inside was more of an actual production. Um and Bo Burnham, he's he's mainly like a song guy, right? He doesn't walk around and tell jokes. He he does silly songs. I think he started out of mine. I think something like that.
Well, uh, let's see. Yeah, though as far as his uh Wikipedia page goes, he hasn't done anything since looked like he did an acting role in some kind of a TV show in 2022, but a a small role. Hasn't put out anything himself since uh 2021. Just sitting back taking that money. Speaking of uh sitting back collecting dough.
Speaker 3: Speaking of Wikipedia, do you see the K-Bear page on Wikipedia?
Speaker 1: Didn't you show me that?
Speaker 3: Or KCBI? Yeah, yeah, I Snapchatted it to you because I I guess we're we're on there. We're like, we're the only station in the building that has the DJ names listed.
Speaker 1: I wonder who decided to go ahead and make a KCVI uh Wikipedia page. Thank you to whoever did it. Um the information, it's always fun to look at Wikipedia and determine how accurate it is. So uh they say the company is owned and operated by Riverbend Communications. Incorrect. That would be Riverbend Media Group.
Speaker 3: So it's not the person's fault. The the name changed like a year or two ago.
Speaker 1: When did they make this beach? Does it say when it was made? I don't know. But anyway, it's not that big of a deal. So you've got uh current on-air staff, you've got me listed as program director, which is accurate, but they do not list me as the morning host. I was the one who made that edit. You did that.
Speaker 3: So like it had all of us listed, but it had Peaches only for me. I'm like, I want my full name. So I I edited the page and put Brendan Peach, and then I also put the positions of everybody. All right, Victor Wills. I almost put Jade office donkey, but I didn't want to.
Speaker 1: Alright, I'm up, I'm updating it.
Speaker 3: Yeah, put put some funny title for Jade. Operations manager. Fart king. Yeah, there you go. All right, let's see if they'll publish my changes.
Speaker 1: Probably not. An automated filter has identified this edit as potentially unconstructive. Please be aware that vandalism may result in revocation of your editing privileges. If this edit is constructive, please click publish changes again. Jade is the fart king, right? I'm gonna push published changes. And if they try to take away my right.
Speaker 3: Just remember this Wikipedia. Just remember every single time you beg for those three dollars to keep Wikipedia going. We will give it to you unless you'd give a less unless you let unless you let us make these changes.
Speaker 1: Yeah, and they can call Jade and ask him if he is the fart king. All right, so they got Lou Brutus listed as syndicated host, hard drive X on hard drive. Uh we don't got FJ on there, but I don't think he's earned it yet. What do we put? Weekend hosts weekends.
But FJ's gotta earn it. Yeah. Kind of like imaging. You gotta earn the imaging. Yeah. If you want to put the imaging in there, you gotta earn it. Gotta put in a put in some months. I actually need to sit down with FJ. I and uh do some air checking. He's doing good.
Speaker 3: I wonder if it's uh if it's okay now to put in that imager that goes, it's Peaches, Beaches. Why wouldn't it be? It wasn't okay back then because it was too close to the word. Yeah, but it's Beaches. Yeah, I trust me, I know.
Speaker 1: You know, we did the no beach beach bash. If we can do the no beach beach bash, then we could do it's peaches. How about on the beaches?
Speaker 3: That's even That's even worse. Just get fired.
Speaker 1: Let's see, former on air staff. We got uh Howie Rock, Piper Finney, Ian. Hey, somebody who knows K-Bear pretty well. no idea who Ian is. Ian was around a long long, long, long time ago. Before me.
Speaker 3: I updated the uh former on air staff. Um originally it did have Ian, Drew, Phyllis, and Brad Royal.
Speaker 1: Yeah, and we're missing Dusty.
Speaker 3: I only added Howie Rock and uh I think no, I think Piper was already on there, too. So I think I only added Howie Rock. Yeah, he was getting disrespected. He's one of the pioneers.
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's pretty old school. I said, hang on, let me edit this page. You should have put Jade under former on airsteps. too. But yeah, there was uh Dusty, Double D. Mohawk Mikey, Mohawk Mikey, cat. Who else has been on air on K bear?
Speaker 3: I have those I have those people.
Speaker 1: It already yelled at me and said, these are not. Well, you put 40. Oh well, I I gotta make a list. I gotta sit down and really think about it. Because I know we're forgetting other K-Bear DJs, and some of them are probably out there going, How the crap did you forget about me?
Speaker 3: Uh Kelly.
Speaker 1: Kelly Martinez! Machette! Yeah, there's another one that there's probably so many. We have to ask Jade. He'd probably be able to uh think of the ones from way back in the day. I can't remember the one there was one uh program director that Jade just hated, hated so bad.
We won't put him on the list. But now everybody in the office hates Jade. Yeah, yeah, exactly. That's what happens.
You suck. Lieutenant Crane's gonna have a rough time on traffic school powered by the advocates' injury attorneys on Friday. Every Friday morning, 8 45 a.m., Lieutenant Crane comes in and we answer your questions about the law.
It's a really fun show. Again, called Traffic School, powered by the advocates, and you can ask a cop anything you want about the law. So I've already got a bunch of questions lined up for him from that uh John Oliver video that I shared on my personal Facebook page about uh police surveillance technology. But speaking of police surveillance, I was just looking at what they're doing in New Jersey, and it is hilarious.
And I just wonder what the weather's like over there. What well I'm looking at this picture of a cop dressed up as a bush with a pair of binoculars, and this is from ABC 7 New York, it's not the onion. New Jersey police officers dress up as shrubs to catch distracted drivers on their phones.
What if you're distracted by the shrub with binoculars? You know, these are questions for the advocates' injury attorneys. When it comes to an accident injury, let's say somebody thinks they saw a bush-like creature with binoculars staring at him and they they rear-end you.
And you end up getting whiplash. Who's responsible for that accident? Is it the police officer dressed up as a bush that was distracting people? Or is it the person who should have been paying attention and not looking around to see if they're you know being watched by bushes on the side of the road?
I don't know the answer. That's why you have the advocates' injury attorneys. You know, you get into these complex legal issues after an accident, you're all you know, beat up from being injured. You should be trying to feel better, trying to heal. Shouldn't be dealing with this crap. Put the advocates to work.
Sick, the advocates' injury attorneys on them. They don't have it, you know, any charge to call and discuss your case. You don't have to pay him anything until they win. Yeah, until they win your case.
If you if you don't win, you don't pay him anything. So yeah, we've got this uh police officer here. I mean, he's in a full-on, what do they call those? It's like a ghillie suit, and he's got his binoculars. This isn't gonna fool anybody. It looks like a man dressed as uh a bush or what swamp thing.
Does anybody here remember swamp thing? That's what the guy looks like, aside from the binoculars. Um, yeah, apparently it's working though. Because they did manage to uh within a six hour period give 74 citations to drivers who were using their phones while driving down the road. It's gotta suck to be the officer. All right, here's what you're doing today. You're dressing up as a bush, dude. But come on, man, it's 105 and humid as crap out there. This is New Jersey.
Sorry. Suit up. Get the binoculars. Get out there and stare at people driving. You know, find the people using their phones. We've had too many people get mad at the flock cameras at this intersection. So we took them down and now you're dressed as a bush.
Which would you rather have? Flock cameras. Or all our cops are dressed up as Swamp Thing. You know, and just hiding out. Oh, this guy looks silly. I can't believe this is a real news article. Any more half of the news articles that I pull up.
I'm like, is this real? Like the story I talked about this morning about the SpaceX rocket crashing into the moon at seven times the speed of sound. You know.
Supervillain Elon Musk trying to destroy the moon. These these are just news stories. That's the timeline we're living in. Could we please set the weasel loose again back in the large Hadrian collider? Like happened back in what 2015.
And could we try a new timeline? I'm tired of this one. I don't really like it. All right.
It's not working out that great. If I don't know, if things at least were cheap, sure. I'll deal with weirdness.
I'll deal with craziness. But you can't even afford to fit up a gas tank. Have you tried to fill up your vehicle and had the gas station cut your uh fuel off? Like they they got a max amount they'll dispense. I was just like, well, I guess 75 bucks it is.
Still don't have a full tank. Cops are watching me from across the street, dressed up in the ghillie suit. Oh yeah, it's gonna be fun on traffic school Friday. Be like, Lieutenant Crane, we got an idea for our troopers around here.
You know? Over in Pocatello, people are running over flock cameras. They don't seem to be running over bushes. Well, let's get them Bannett County officers out there in the ghillie suit. Swamp thing it up, buddy. Come on.
It was a peaches. What's happening, What's happening, man? Uh, sorry, you got a headache, bro. I did.
It's gone now. Yeah, I think that the uh smoke in the air and things like that uh are irritating people. I know that uh a couple days ago when it was really smoky, it felt like my head was just swelling.
Oh, it was so unpleasant. Does it? No. I got a bubble head going on. You look like the lemon head logo. Oh, great. Stewie Griffin, he's here. Football heads look at me. Well, holy crap, today's show went by pretty quickly.
Speaker 3: Yesterday went by extremely fast.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it uh was nice. Hopefully, the rest of the week will as well. Um I know we gotta get cracking on doing some noon and things like that because of appointments. Uh, I have two appointments today.
I don't know what I was thinking when I scheduled these, but right when I get off work, straight to the dentist, okay? Hopefully it's fine, cleaning, leave. Then I gotta go to the dock as well, like immediately afterward. My whole evening rowing.
Speaker 3: Yeah, I got my counseling appointment, and I was thinking, I'm like, I need a I need a uh I'll sit in the room with silence for you know, I I can't you can it's it's okay to have dead air, you know. It is okay to have dead air because I uh because he'll do this thing where he lets me talk and talk and talk and talk. And I'm like, I'm seeking answers. And he's just sitting there quietly.
Speaker 1: The answers are within Beaches. That's yeah. Yeah. You gotta figure it out. He's just there to guide. Yeah, I should probably go back to my counselor. It's been a long time.
Speaker 3: Maybe when I interview uh those two musicians uh this week, I should be like, the answers are within. I'm just gonna let you guys let you speak the whole time. And I sit there with a gong.
Speaker 1: Just Rick Rubin, the interview.
Speaker 3: Yes. I have no shoes on, I'm on the floor.
Speaker 1: But then they also need to pay you for all that hard work you do sitting there letting them do their thing.
Speaker 3: I want you to grab a book off the shelf and just choose a random passage.
Speaker 1: I watched a pretty funny uh Anthony Fantano video the other day. I think it was just called Rick Rubin is cringe. Oh it was pretty good. I I've turned the page on Anthony Fantana. I like him now.
Speaker 3: He was making fun of the uh the Strokes album, and I guess the strokes dissed him in a song. In a song? Yeah. Like the stroke I don't know if you've heard the latest stroke stuff.
Speaker 1: It's horrible. I heard one of their songs and it wasn't very good.
Speaker 3: Just as bad as the new Avenge Sevenfold. It's horrible.
Speaker 1: See, and I haven't listened to the whole new Avenged uh No one can be. But I listened to the first two songs and was like, all right. That was interesting.
Speaker 3: Lay off the DMT, you know.
Speaker 1: Those guys are out there.
Speaker 3: And he can't sing it all anymore, M Shadows.
Speaker 1: Well, I noticed that on you know one of the last releases. His voice sounds kind of weak, but I didn't know if maybe he was just overproduced in the past.
Speaker 3: I did watch a funny Instagram reel. I don't know if I sent it to you or not, but it's like, what's your name? M Shadows. And then and then it goes to like the modern day version, and it's like all auto-tune, and it goes M shadows, and it's like all over the place.
Speaker 1: Uh yeah, um, I'll have to check out the video of the discussion about the strokes. You know, if if you're mad enough at a YouTuber to diss them in a song, and I mean, how old are the strokes? Old enough. They gotta be older than me, right? Or I don't know. Let's let's Google some info on the strokes because I'm not super familiar with them. All right. The first thing that comes up is Anthony Fantano's video. The very first thing that that popped up here.
Speaker 3: It's one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Okay. The their latest album as a whole sucks.
Speaker 1: All right, they formed in 1998, so they gotta be about my age. And I don't know, calling out a you is there any YouTubers I would make fun of in a song? Because I've written songs that made fun of stuff before.
I feel like I'm too old to make songs that make fun of stuff at this age. I don't know. Maybe not. There's nothing that's funny enough. Politics aren't funny. So maybe maybe you do go after YouTubers. There's a lot of cringe YouTubers. Find some poor 18-year-old kid. YouTube videos suck, bro.
Speaker 3: Just making it have it as a bonus track.
Speaker 1: Well, the sad part is he's gonna have a bigger audience. So yeah. Like, I bet Anthony Fantano has a bigger audience than the strokes. For sure. You know, I mean, they're they're playing some decent-sized venues, it would appear, but yeah. Um I'll have to watch the video. Uh he he he can be pretty witty. He's pretty he's one of those nerdy guys. So we can come up with some pretty funny stuff.
Speaker 3: Some of the stuff that he praises, I'm like, how do you listen to this?
Speaker 1: He has terrible music taste. Don't get me wrong. He is hipster to the max. Right. Like, I disagree with a lot of his uh music.
Speaker 3: Music taste. He looks like a guy that I would uh I would have done Titan radio with at Cal State Fullerton. Like I listened to Black Bear and like all this like crap indie stuff.
Speaker 1: Like, I don't think he'd be someone I'd want to sit down and have a chat with.
Speaker 3: Maybe you ever heard the Lawrence Arms? Ew.
Speaker 1: But he loved the new Neurosis album. So sometimes I agree with him. And you couldn't stand, you heard me listening to Neurosis, and we're like, what is wrong with you? What is this?
Speaker 3: Well, the new uh he didn't like any, he doesn't like sleep token at all.
Speaker 1: Oh, he hates sleep token. Yeah, did he review the new Devin Townsend album? I want to see a hipster's take on the new Devin Townsend album. I wonder if I there's a way I can get in touch with him. Because that would be an interesting review. You gotta interview him.
I I would chat with I know I said I wouldn't want to sit down and chat with him, but I I think I would. He there's enough beef talk we could talk about when him and uh Ronnie Radke gotten beef, Ronnie Radke sued him and lost.
Speaker 3: But then you have Ronnie Radke ready to go on the Zoom call. Like you just pull him out of nowhere.
