#0400 - I Threw Up, Had A Panic Attack, And Still Clocked In - 07/30/2026

Speaker 1: Hey, what's up everybody? Good morning. Welcome to the Victor Wilt Show. Thursday. Thank God. Is it uh later than the time, however, that it currently is. Needs to be Friday. Need to be done work for the week. How was your evening?

Mine? It was Challenging. I got sick after work for some reason.

Very annoying. So uh little bit of projectile vomiting. And then I laid down for a while. Waited for Becca to get home. She got home. She fell asleep. Then I had like a little bit of a panic attack. So I decided, okay, I'll just lay down for a while and it didn't get much better from there.

But here I am. Made it into work, doing it live. Yay. And hopefully, you know, plenty of fun things to talk about floating around online. Hopefully the caffeine kicks in and does the job.

Ah, you know, when you get to bed at a reasonable time for once, and then you still sleep like crap. Sucks. Sucks so much. I don't know, maybe I should uh find a night job. Just say screw it. Never get any sleep. Just quit this show.

Nah, I like the job. I'll keep waking up. I'll drag myself in here. No matter what it takes. On most days. Unless I got a good bank of PTO. Which I did today. Tell you what. Alright.

Well, let's see. Speaking of jobs. You know, jobs lead to money.

And I stumbled across a thread. What's a hobby that requires little to no money? Might be a good one to take a look at since you know it's not like I've been doing my other hobbies. Got like no motivation to play guitar or video games or whatever. And those they can require money. I already got some of the stuff, so they don't really for me to actually engage in them. But you know, if I wanted to buy a new guitar, that that ain't happening because all my money goes to Bill's. So I need a hobby that requires little to no money. Let's see. Cleaning neglected cemetery headstones.

A drop of baby bath soap and a bucket of water and a soft brush clean some old mildew and bird poo. Uh gets or let's see. What?

Oh, okay. The way that they wrote this reads weird. I thought they were saying bird poop and a cordless water pick gets the muck from engravings.

Uh yeah, don't mix up bird poo and water. That's pointless. Uh but that's a good hobby. Getting out and cleaning people's graves. It's nice and quiet in the cemetery.

Chances are nobody's gonna bother you because they think you're there, you know, generally paying respects to somebody who's passed on. So, yeah, that that sounds like uh, but it does require some money, right? You need the the baby bath soap and a bucket of water and a soft brush, plus a water pick.

Yeah, a water pick is uh generally used to clean uh it's like a water flosser, all right. They cost money, so this hobby right out the door. Once you're set up, sure, you're probably good to go for a while.

Till the water pick breaks. Oh, reading, another hobby that I have no motivation for. But yes, the public library, they got pretty good prices.

Uh, free. Mm-hmm. So you should you should visit the library. You should read a book. Just be aware if you're in Idaho, the library can be a little bit of uh you know, a frustration to navigate because you gotta like show your ID like you're walking into a smut shop just to see the nonfiction books about the you know history of the US or whatever. Yeah, gotta make sure you're an adult to read that. It's not the library's fault. Remember, elections are coming up.

Librarians didn't make these stupid decisions. Let's see, bird watching. Well, you gotta buy yourself some uh binoculars, right?

I mean, I guess you could just stare out the window, but to get the birds to come, you need a bird feeder, and then the squirrels are gonna destroy it anyway. So, yeah, I don't know. I don't know about that one. What else we got here?

Uh sorry, I'm also trying to change up the playlist while I'm at it because I don't want to hear the songs that are coming up next. Let's see. More free hobbies.

Again, people who don't know how the internet works and saying the same things as everybody else. The library. Hiking. They say you don't need any special gear or equipment. Okay, listen. You need decent shoes or you're gonna hurt your feet. Don't be, you know, putting on the slip-on vans and going on a 10 mile hike.

You're gonna have a bad time. You also need water. And you know, I'd probably recommend snacks as well. Hiking is an energy draining activity, so you need to replenish yourself.

It's still pretty cheap. Walking, same deal. You know how hot it is outside? As of late, you're gonna need water.

And I know water, it's you know cheap, especially if you get it from the tap, but still costs something. Drawing. Nope, you need pencils and paper. It's not free. But it is a good hobby.

You know, sit down and draw some stuff. And again, back to like video games and stuff. There are a lot of free video games out there. There's free streaming TV. Watching TV can be a hobby. I tried to watch TV last night. It didn't work out very good. So I hid in the darkness, but it was fine. Alright.

Uh oh, they say it isn't miniature war gaming, because yeah, you gotta uh spend a lot of uh money on that stuff. Picking up litter, there you go. Make it make it look nicer. Find a place that's a dump and clean it up.

Sure. Sit at the mall and silently judge people. That's a good one. Alright, so we were talking about hobbies that are cheap, and one of them that was mentioned online was reading. A hobby I've been wanting to get back into. Becca and I set up a bookshelf in our room.

Like a pretty big one. And on top of it, we've got the two read list, which is piles of books. Well, I just stumbled across a list of more books to buy, potentially. Gonna have to wait a bit on that.

Broke fool. Alright. Ten great books Stephen King fans should read. Alright. I, if you are unaware, am a Stephen King fan, so yeah.

I I'd probably be down to read these. I wonder how many of these I already have. I haven't even scrolled the list because I wanted it to be a surprise.

If you're not into horror, sorry. Yeah. Listen to Roper for a few minutes talk about, I don't know. the Top 10 list of uh you know, best places to get potatoes.

I don't know. Anyway, 10 great books Stephen King fans should read. Coming in at number 10, Ghost Story by Peter Straub. Uh I do believe I have that book. Sadly, I have not read it. It's one of those that's in the long-term to be red list, but I've always heard it's pretty good. I enjoyed his uh collaboration with Stephen King on the Talisman and Blackhouse, of which the third book is coming out soon.

Alright, what else we got here? King Sorrow by Joe Hill. Alright, I believe it was my sister or my daughter who got me that for Christmas. It's been sitting in the to be red pile since. Um it's like I said, still there, and I own it, and I do want to read it because Joe Hill is fantastic. Uh, Stephen King's son, in case you were unaware, but he's really really good. The Terror by Dan Simmons. I do own this book. I have not read it, but I have seen the it was like an HBO show, something like that. You know, one of these uh series, and it it was pretty good. It was pretty good. I've heard the book is excellent, just haven't got around to reading it, but I do have it.

Watchers by Dean Coons. Now, I'm gonna assume I have that. Becca and I just bought like 50 Dean Kuhn books recently, the last few months, so that one's gotta be in there, right?

Gotta have pretty much the entire Dean Coons library at this point. Uh, but I have not read it, so I'll have to check that one out. Okay, here's one I've never heard of. James Elroy, the Black Dahlia. Um let's see. Okay, so it's written in a novel format, but it is uh touching on the unsolved case of the black dolly of murder. Uh so it's a story that kind of blurs fact and fiction.

Uh, those are pretty fun. That's kind of like The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum, based on a true story, but written in novel form, which makes it really, really disturbing. Alright, number five, House of Leaves. I was actually uh looking at that book with Becca just the other day. I do own it. It's uh written in a very strange fashion.

Um picked up a hardback copy of it. It's in the to be re to be red list. To be red pile, and supposed to be really, really good horror.

Blood Meridian at number four. I do own that. Have not read it. Uh supposed to be one of the bleakest and saddest and most depressing books of all time.

Uh and I've been trying to avoid that kind of content. You know, when you got mental issues as it is. Don't need to get more depressed.

Uh, what else do we got here? Boys Life by Robert McCammon. An excellent, excellent book. Uh, I've read it multiple times.

It's in the to be red pile because I want to read it again. Uh, you know, thinking line of like uh stand by me, also known as The Body. You know, the movie was called Stand By Me or It. Uh The Talisman.

You know, one of these coming of age kid stories, but really good. Robert McCamin's excellent. Number two, Lucifer's Hammer.

I've never heard of this in my life. Uh Lucifer's Hammer. It doesn't even say who it's by. Who wrote this book? It's a number two on the list of books Stephen King fans might like.

Okay, Lucifer's Hammer by Jerry Purnell and Larry Niven. Okay. I I definitely don't have that. If I saw that book for sale with the ridiculous cover, uh I I would buy it. For sure.

If I was in the thrift store and it was just sitting there, it'd be like, well, that book's so ridiculous looking, I've gotta get it. But it does have extremely good ratings. Alright, and what about number one? Uzumaki by Jun Junji Ito. Um, I have not read any of his stuff. Um it's a manga, I believe. Graphic novels. I have heard of this.

Uzumaki. It's gotta be pretty good then. Alright, maybe I'll add it to the uh the old list.

The old list of crap I need to spend money on. But probably gonna be a while. Alright, there you go. There's some book reading recommendations. A nice relaxing and uh brain enhancing activity.

You know, do some reading. It's good for ya. What's up, people?

Sorry, I wasn't prepared. Distracted. It's been one of those mornings. And I seem to just be getting progressively more and more frustrated as it goes on. There's some real pieces of crap out there.

Alright. Somebody is a piece of crap in your life, cast them out. And if you know somebody is a piece of crap, even if they're not a piece of crap to you, cast them out.

Alright. Bunch of losers out there who don't need extra aggravation. Already cranky. Alright.

Sorry. I do this show live, everybody, so you just kind of get what you get. It's not a pre-recorded uh, you know.

Here's the stuff I read in the radio prep kind of show. It's just whatever's on my mind or whatever I dig up. And sometimes that's you know, okay, I'm about to explode. But I'm I'm staying calm. Staying calm.

Maybe I should drink a little water. Yeah. It's fun. Okay, let's see.

What's an invention that should exist by now, but somehow doesn't. Sure. That that sounds like it could be cheery, right? Knowing the way the morning's going, probably not.

Probably not gonna be cheery, but we'll find out. Uh printers that just print when you press print. Yeah, um, okay, how about printers that don't require ink? There's gotta be actually that's probably out there, huh? Probably. I'm just gonna skip past that one.

I don't want to think about it too much. A better design for a cereal box slash bag combination. Uh put all the cereal in bags. The box is a it's a waste. There's a bag inside of it. Just print on the bag.

Like, you know what? What's the brand? Multimail. They make all the big bags of cereal.

All of the cereal companies could do the same thing. Alright. Just get rid of the box. That is kind of surprising.

You know, with shrinkflation and companies supposedly trying to save money, you know, rather than reduce the amount of product inside of the package, reduce the package. Alright, what else do we have here? Um.

What's going on with my my thing here? Okay, this person says I don't understand why they still put the bra padding unattached in most sports bras. Um yeah, you know, come on, can't we just sew them in? I don't know. I'd I've never monkeyed with the sports bra.

I would assume they have them removable because some people don't like them, but I'm, you know, again, not a sports bra uh wearer, so I don't know. Cure for Alzheimer's, that would be great. See, this is what I knew we were gonna get into. The cure cure for cancer, blah blah blah. What's an invention that should exist by now but doesn't? Cure for everything.

Let's see here. Yeah, chronic pain management. Ugh. A more comfortable bowl for when you get your hair washed at the salon. Why is there no padding for your neck?

Seems like they could put something down. Mold problems? How about just uh a couple paper towels? Or do they do that already and it's just not soft enough? A reverse microwave, something that makes things just cold as crap immediately. Yeah, I guess it could be nice.

If you're really needing a cold one. So somebody asked online, should I live with my girlfriend at 18? This is a subject Peaches and I have talked about quite a bit on the noon hour of madness in mayhem. You know, dating and all that in general. And I've always said you should uh absolutely live with someone uh before making some kind of a major commitment. So this guy, he goes on talking about how he wants to figure out what he wants to do with his life and this and that, and so he's got a girlfriend now, and they're thinking about maybe in six months or a year moving in together, and he's like, yeah, but that seems kind of young uh to be moving in together.

Okay, there are people out there who are like don't live together until you're married. You should not do that. It is wrong.

Um, No, you absolutely should. Because you need to be able to find out if uh you know you're gonna drive each other compl completely crazy. You things are a lot different when you live with somebody than if you just each have your own place.

So that's something good to find out. I think you should live together for a significant amount of time uh before making making the plunge. Also, you know, if you're moving out on your own, which is another thing this guy's talking about, uh it's helpful to have a roommate because you can split the bills, you know. So to me, it looks like this guy has a lot of reasons uh that he should move in with his girlfriend, unless he, you know, he just wants to be alone.

But if they both want to move out, they're together, they want to see how things are gonna work long term, and they want to save some money. Go for it. What's the worst that could happen? Oh, it didn't work out. Alright. Time to get your own place. You're 18. Alright, you're 18. That's the time to, you know, start figuring out life, not making, you know, big life commitments. Alright.

So good luck to this dude. Oh, alright. I was hoping it was later when I looked at the clock. Realized it was not very long ago that I mentioned, uh, oh yay, we made it to seven. Gonna be a long one, people, ain't it? Well, thankfully I have about 10 billion tasks to do, and I I feel like I'm forgetting something. There was something I was supposed to do yesterday.

I don't know. Frazzled. Frazzled, but we'll keep the show going.

See what I find next. Hey, I thought we solved all of our border problems. Huh?

I thought that everything was amazing again. And, you know, nothing bad coming across the border. Well, apparently not the case. At least if we're talking about uh bacon from Canada. Now, I don't think we really need to worry about this too much here because uh the bacon that was recalled because it wasn't an inspected at the border, was sold at grocery outlet stores in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Uh, at least in Idaho Falls, uh, grocery outlet shut down.

I don't know about Pocatello. If you did buy bacon at grocery outlet recently, you should look up you know bacon recall, and they've got these specific package markings you can check out. See if you've got that bacon product of Canada. And uh throw it in the garbage.

Because um, I I mean they're not saying that it's bad, it just wasn't inspected uh during the required import reinspection. So, people working at the Canadian border, get it together. Come on.

Nobody wanna get uh sick by bacon. Yeah. Alright. Well, if I had a for breakfast burrito since did I even eat any food yesterday? I don't think I did. No, I did have some lunch. I did have uh a sandwich that potentially may have been the reason that I uh you know projectile vomited after work. Uh yeah, that's why I didn't eat dinner, but no bacon this morning.

Liquid diet only. Well, earlier on the show, we were talking about hobbies. This is a hobby that could make you some money.

All right, now you are gonna have to invest in some supplies, but some of them probably aren't gonna cost too much. You could probably find a farmer willing to just let you take it. Um not talking about obviously produce or something like that.

We know that groceries have gotten to be pretty expensive, maybe a little bit of the waste. Are you an artist? Well, bust out your canvas, some charcoal, and some uh horse poo.

Mix it all together, paint up you know, some kind of portrait, and you might be able to sell it for like $1,800. Uh, that's what happened. Where was this? Uh the website's Victoria Buzz. I don't know what that means. I mean, it's a long article. I should have checked to make sure this was real. It looked pretty real. I mean, they've got all got all the uh details on where it's happening. This must be a local paper, because they're like, all right, here's how much it costs to get into the art show, the souk fine art show celebrating its 40th anniversary.

Oh, Vancouver Island, Victoria, British Columbia. Those wacky Canadians painting with the dookie. Would you spend $1,800 on a painting that is literally crap? A crappy painting.

Somebody did. I don't know if I could stomach it. I could use the extra dough to pay down some bills, but yeah, I think I'm gonna have to find something else to do. Alright, I'll dig up some freak news and be back.

Okay, let's see here. I uh did not prepare as much as I should have for freak news. My bad.

Uh, one in every 1,000 people in Michigan has explosive diarrhea. Yeah. You know, we had the bacon recall earlier.

I don't know if you want a monkey with lettuce. But yeah, about one in every 1,000 people in Michigan has picked up the explosive diarrhea over the past three months. The cyclosporiasis. And I believe they've found it in like 45 states now. And of course, I saw, you know, a bunch of people losing their minds about this online. Fake news! Fake news.

Oh, social media is so exhausting. Alright. Anyway, be beware.

Wash your veggies or something. Let's see. Oh, here's pleasant news.

More Americans are going bankrupt. What does that mean? What do you think it means? Means more Americans are going bankrupt, means things suck.

Means people can't afford life. Ugh. Again, gotta get that part-time job going. Painting dookie pictures to make myself thousands of bucks. Get them hung up in rich people homes. Alright. Paint a picture of some horse.

Out in front of the Tetons and paint it with horse poo like that guy made $1,800. Jeez. Uh, let's see.

Again, I should have really prepared a little bit better. Alright, let's talk about. Let's talk about UFOs. Nah, this one's a long one. I'm gonna save it. I'm gonna save this one. We'll talk about the uh best states in America. All of these studies that we find all just kind of cancel each other out.

Alright. We recently had like the worst drivers in America or whatever. Or in Utah was like right up toward the top. But what's the best state to live in in America according to this other study? Utah. That's right. The best states, supposedly, Utah, South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Nebraska.

Uh I'm gonna go with I doubt it. They say they were analyzed in eight categories education, health care, economy, infrastructure, opportunity, fiscal stability, natural environment, and crime and corrections. And as I was looking through some of these stats, like they had Utah ranked number 48 for like the environment. And then they had South Dakota ranked number two. Now, I've been through South Dakota and I've been through Utah. I would have to say I personally find the natural environment of Utah much nicer than South Dakota.

So I don't know how they came up with that. But if you were wondering where does good old Idaho sit, apparently we are number seven in the best states overall. Now we've got crappy education and crappy infrastructure, but we're low on crime.

We got a good natural environment, and supposedly one of the best economies in the country. Number three. So I'm glad we're all doing great. Alright, I figure we need to have a little fun this morning. I feel like I've been ranting and raving. So let's talk about UFOs. Alright. Some of these articles that make the rounds.

They just make me chuckle. Mystery deepens at Utah Paranormal Hotspot as buried UFO clues emerge. Yeah. Um apparently, the owner of the Skinwalker Ranch says he has extracted manufactured material from hundreds of feet inside the ranch's rocky mesa, including heat-resistant ceramic fragments and unusual metals. And I guess he told American Alchemy podcast host Jesse Michaels that drilling equipment repeatedly struck a mysterious underground object before pulling out material that did not match the surrounding landscape. So yeah, there's something under there. And we also detected possible underground voids. And we have identified what we believe is an invisible energy anomaly surrounding the site. Now, we haven't dug up a spaceship yet, but come on!

It's weird! You know what I really wish? I wish people could not just see somebody say, hey, blah blah blah, this happened. And then they just go, okay.

It happens with politics all the time. You know? So and so I saw it.

So and so said this. And it's like, well, did they show any evidence of that? Or did they just have a press conference and say it? Like I could say anything I want. I could say, you know, hey, today we're gonna get five feet of snow. You want to take it as truth?

You go ahead. But just because you heard it on broadcast media or on the news or something, doesn't mean that the person saying it's telling the truth. Well, Lying is not illegal.

It's you know, not cool. But that's uh how you how you get into politics. Gotta be a good liar. Actually, you don't even have to be a good liar. You just have to be willing to stand your ground. Just be like, nope.

Nope. The sky is not blue. The earth is flat. Nope, it is. And people will believe you if you're in a position of power.

It's dumb. I'm not saying the people at Skinwalker Ranch are in a position of power. I'm just saying they said this happened. Zero uh evidence aside from they said. Let's see some video. Let's see something. Huh? Well, you can't debunk it.

Can't prove that it didn't happen. Ugh. I need to start knocking down the tasks.

Got a busy day ahead tomorrow. Plan being to head to Salt Lake City, check out the poppy show. Should be a lot of fun. What's that horrible Salt Lake weather looking like?

I bet it's gonna be miserable. Ugh, glad it's an indoor venue, but Jade said the last time he went to well, no, he was at the complex. Said the complex was pretty, uh, pretty awful heat-wise.

So hopefully the union is a little bit better. Salt Lake usually about 10 degrees hotter than here. Let's just pull it up here. We'll look at our local weather and Salt Lake.

Ugh. Yeah, Salt Lake looking at a high of 103 tomorrow. 105 on Saturday.

Great day to be walking the streets of downtown Salt Lake City. Ugh. Alright, well, hopefully they've got good AC. That's all I gotta say about that. Let's look at our local weather. How much is it gonna suck around here? Uh today it's gonna be toasty.

I mean it every day. Looking at a high in 94, tomorrow 97, Saturday 102. So uh good time to get some of them indoor chores done. I attempted to get some done last night, but just didn't get quite as much done as I would have liked. Uh, but I wasn't feeling well. You know, sometimes sometimes you just got a projectile vomit, huh? Get it out of your system and then just lay there feeling like a loser for a while. And then you get up and you uh do the laundry.

That's my life. Oh, hey, we we've been talking about the heat. Here's some heat above. Man, I love it when people can't do their jobs.

Yeah, just love it. I'm not gonna get into the details, but some of the people I have to deal with sometimes in this job, not here in the building, just in the music business. We'll keep it vague, are so incompetent at what they do and drive me so crazy that when I'm having a morning that I'm already aggravated, I'm ready to flip over the board. I don't know, how heavy is this board. Jade, you're gonna get mad if I flip the board? Probably.

These boards are old. Probably break. Alright, no smashing stuff. Alright, uh, what else was I looking at here? Sorry I had some other kind of garbage up, but seems to be missing, so I'll just give you the friendly reminder that we're giving away tickets to Seven Dust and Theory of a Deadman all week.

Yeah. Listen for back to back tracks from Seven Dust or Theory of a Dead Man if you hear two in a row. Be color number 20 when the second song starts, and we'll hook you up with some free tickets to the show. So I plan to give some away before the end of my show. There's a hint on when. But that's you know, an hour and 17 minutes that you gotta pay attention.

So listen closely. Alright, my internet was being a piece of crap for the last five minutes, but thankfully it's working now. See what I could dig up here.

I was like getting desperate, just pulling up old emails on my phone. One of which was Boise named the best city in Idaho for Doomsday Preppers. And I was like, really? Boise? Of all places? You would think somewhere really out in the sticks would be the best place for doomsday preppers, away from a you know, population center.

I don't know, like out in the mountains near Stanley or something. But apparently it's Boise. No, the reason that it's Boise.

This is a poorly worded email because it says it's the best city in Idaho for doomsday preppers. They only like ran data and analyzed the top 100 most populated cities in the country. So they didn't look at any other cities in Idaho. Just Boise.

So obviously, Boise is going to be the best city in Idaho for Doomsday preppers, but I ain't buying that. You ever driven through like uh, I don't know, out near Cordelaine? I'm pretty sure that Cordelaine has gotta be doomsday prepper central in Idaho. Like if there is a you know base ground for where doomsday preppers go in Idaho. It it's gotta be Cordelaine. Let's see.

Most doomsday preppers in Idaho. Let's see if uh Google will answer me or if I gotta go to chat GPT. Oh, nope, there we go.

Uh, according to Google's AI, uh, yes, the panhandle, cord lane area, and the whole panhandle, high concentration of doomsday preppers, but we also have a lot of them right here in Southeast Idaho. Yeah, yeah. But which is where do we got more? Where do we got more?

I don't know. It's always good to be a little bit prepared, have some canned goods and things like that. Sometimes people get a little bit crazy with it. Oh, here's a group on Facebook, Idaho Preppers Survivalists and Homesteaders, where you can join and talk with other people about uh about your doomsday prepping. Oh, people like list their homes for sale. We've got an off-grid homestead for sale in the Idaho Mountains. Let's see where it is.

Alright, that would be Cambridge, Idaho. And, you know, apparently doomsday preppers, you know, you want to live off the grid out in the Payette National Forest. You gotta have a lot of money.

This property is uh 1.4 million dollars. All right, you're not gonna have any money left to buy I don't know, buckets of food that last for five years at a time. What else do we got in this group? A picture of uh pigs, okay.

All right, that's fine. We've got uh tents for sale. This is this is just a group where people are selling all the same crap you get in regular Facebook marketplace, like garden planters. I I guess for doomsday prepping, grow growing your own plants is a thing, but this is Idaho. Those are only good for half the year, if that I'm surprised we're not seeing listings for indoor growing setups and things like that. No, it's just people selling their houses that are like out in the woods. Like, look, you want to be a prepper, you just gotta live in the woods.

You can go live in the woods, get yourself a tent, have at it. All right. Well, that's that. Uh, I still think there have to be more doomsday preppers in northern Idaho than around here, but I don't know.

I know a few doomsday preppers, but you just seem to see more news about like cordilane. Anyway, let's do this nine o'clock hour. Let's get this day done. So I agree with Josh from Classy on a lot of things, and I disagree with Josh from Classy on a lot of things, but this one that they just posted about gave me a little bit of a chuckle because I'm on uh team Josh on this one. Sorry, Chantel. Uh, they're at the grocery store and they're pushing a shopping cart. Here, I'll I'll play the video for you so you can listen to it here real quick.

Speaker 2: Josh Hattie, how do you feel about the organization at this time?

Speaker 3: this cart? This is the worst cart. I'm embarrassed to even be pushing it. This is horrifying. It's fine to me. Josh Hattie.

Speaker 1: So apparently Chantel will just pile everything up in the cart. No, no rhyme or reason. Josh likes to arrange his cart. I like to try to keep the cart arranged. If I'm shopping by myself, it's definitely arranged.

All right, if I've got, you know, Becca and her daughter with me, that kind of goes out the door. But I do enjoy bagging the groceries because then I can arrange them at that time. Because when you get home, if you've got your groceries arranged in the bags, it's so much easier to put crap away. Like, okay, this is canned stuff.

This goes in the freezer, this goes in the fridge, and so forth. I recommend anything you can do to save a little bit of time. Because I don't know if you're like me, but it never feels like I have anywhere near enough time to get the things done I need to do. So if I could save a few minutes at home putting away the groceries, that's a few minutes, and I'll take it.

But I did find it funny that that's what they use for online content. Fighting about a grocery cart. But yeah, I I I want to find out if they arrange them when bagging. Uh I'm gonna leave a comment here.

I arrange when bagging, if unable to arrange cart due to who is loading it. There we go. We'll see if anybody else uh agrees with me in there. Showing teeth on K-Bear. Congrats to the band on signing to Spine Farm Records. Uh, the label that initially signed sleep token. They did a pretty good job with that band, so it's a pretty good sign for showing teeth.

Congrats to them. All right. What was I gonna dig into here? Oh, yeah, we talked about ways to make money throughout the show today. You know, never enough cash. The bills always pile up. Cannot ever seem to catch them up.

No matter how many times I dump all my money in them. Oh could donate plasma. It's a way to make money, but I don't like needles. You know, only time I'm getting the jab is when, you know, get one of them uh blood draws at the doctor where they go, oh boy, here's all the vitamins you're lacking, you need to eat better.

Or, you know, hey, here's a here's a nice vaccination. That's just me. Okay, not telling you what to do. Don't even want to get on this subject. But okay, I don't like needles, so I don't donate plasma.

And there might be somebody hiding in the walls naked, just creeping and peeping at you. Happen in California. Fresno. Uh man arrested after being found in the wall of a plasma center, naked.

Yeah, um, it was about 7 a.m. Somebody's just sitting there, you know, a patient, they hear these noises coming from the wall, and they look over and they see eyes peering out at them. Yeah, you know, when you got a you're stuck in the chair with a needle in your arm, you're hooked up to that machine that's you know, taking the blood out of you and putting it back in.

You can't just jump up and leave. So I guess they called the cops, they tried to get the guy to come out. He started throwing metal objects at them. So then they used what they called pepper balls on the man, and when he came out, uh, yeah, he was uh completely naked. So he was arrested, while naked, taken to the hospital, and somehow also damaged a water main, uh, flooding the lobby of the business. Um why was he naked?

Alright, I mean, hiding in the wall of a plasma center. I don't have an answer for that either. It didn't say he was doing anything lewd, you know, like he's really into watching people donate plasma. He's just naked. Doesn't say he was on drugs or anything. I mean, they did take him to the hospital, but I hope you don't have to put up with any of that kind of crap when you're just you know trying to make a few spare bucks. Jeez, having to deal with creeps when you're just trying to make money can be very fun. By the way, dudes, yeah, treat your bartenders and waitresses with respect. Stop being creeps, all right.

Witnessed it many a time. Date properly, weirdos. Time for my weekly reminder that going into natural waters is a bad idea. Like anywhere.

You know, we have the toxic algae blooms popping up around here. Down in where was this Turks and how do you say this? Caicos? C-A-I-C-O-S?

Never heard of it. Anyway, this 13-year-old girl went on a vacation with her family in Turks and Cecos, and she decided, hey, let's uh get in some water and cool off. So I don't know if this was a river, a lake, a pond. She said it was about uh four or five feet deep, so she gets in and does a handstand, and midway all of a sudden, just pain starts shooting through her arm, so she you know gets out of the water and blood's just everywhere, and it's pouring down her face. She got attacked by a barracuda, probably because she was wearing a shiny bracelet. Yeah, you ladies, that jewelry looks like a fish lure, okay. Fish are dumb. They can't tell the difference between you know a shiny ring and a regular fishing lure. We wouldn't be able to catch them if they knew what a fishing lure was. Fish are dumb. But anyway, uh, she says she hasn't lost her love for marine life, and she still wants to be a marine biologist.

Um you know what? I've never even been attacked by a fish. Screw fish. They're good to eat, good eating. Well, some of them, not all of them. And alright, I'm not really saying screw fish, but I ain't going in no natural waters, and certainly if I got attacked by a fish, I'd be talking crap on fish, all right? Or at least barracudas.

Be like, you know what? Trout are fine. Barracudas, they suck. Not a fan anymore. Alright. They have a violent nature. Um, I've got a little bit of advice for everybody out there. When it comes to animals, do not give them as a gifts. Alright.

Talked about this probably nine months ago. Becca's daughter was gifted a leopard gecko by her uncle for her birthday. No advance warning. Like, no phone call to Becca. Hey, I'm thinking about getting her a leopard gecko.

No messages to me. Hey, you want another pet in your zoo? Since I know you've guys got four cats and a dog. You want to add some more? Do you want bugs in your house that you have to take care of?

None of that. So by surprise, we end up getting this lizard for her birthday. And it didn't even come with the proper setup. Didn't have the light it needed. It was a tarantula setup. So we had to go drop like 200 bucks on supplies for said lizard.

Peaches just joined me right now. And since then, I've had to spend tons of money on additional upgrades for the uh gecko's cage. You know, because it needs stuff to hide under.

They need a certain kind of environment. And then I had to buy a new another new light because it wasn't getting the proper UVB or something like that. It never ends. And then I'm buying bugs all the time. Can I get my you know weekly bag of bugs, pet smart?

Thank you. Thank you for bugs. And then you gotta feed the bugs. The bugs need food.

And the bugs need, you know, something to keep them from uh What's word. I'm looking here when you run out of water, Peaches, Jay. Evaporation?

I don't know. No, you know it's not starving. Dehydrated? Oh no. Isn't there a word for dying from thirst? Dehydration. Is that just it?

Well, anyway. Yeah, you gotta give them some liquids. I'm feeding bugs.

I'm feeding a lizard feeding four cats and a dog. Yesterday. I'm not gonna say who. But somebody tried real hard to get us to uh have another cat.

And even made it a little bit uncomfortable because when you get the children involved, then they get sad when you say, What are you? Crazy! We've got a zoo! No! No, we can't have any more animals. And we're going out of town this weekend. We're just gonna leave it there to get who knows, eaten by the other cats? Cats hate other cats.

Speaker 3: So wasn't there somebody else that was trying to recruit or trying to have you uh get them a sugar glider? That was Becca yesterday. Okay, I didn't know if you wanted to name her

Speaker 1: or I'll throw her under the bus, sure.

Speaker 3: Yeah, she was uh on the phone with you just making a this massive argument. I know for getting a sugar glider at your guys' place.

Speaker 1: And she said you need to get two of them because they have to be in a pair. Oh, they have to be in a pair. They have to be in a pair.

Nobody can survive alone. And Becca did try to get me to get a cat the last time we were at Pet Smart too, because they had all these kittens. I'm going to Pet Smart with her. Yeah, I know. I'm no longer.

Speaker 3: Take the lizard and go to the middle of the wilderness and just release the lizard.

Speaker 1: I like the lizard now, though. He's easy to take away. Well, then don't complain about it. I'm complaining about people who try to give people pets.

Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's a stupid thing to do.

Speaker 1: It's not good. A pet is a major commitment. Again, I thought a lizard would be a cheap pet. I was like, oh, I guess we'll deal with this. No, it's not. I mean, it's a little cheaper than dealing with the cats and the dog, but not by much.

Speaker 3: I have the chance to do the funniest thing ever. I'm gonna show up with a koi fish for your for your for Christmas for you.

Speaker 1: Don't bring me anything alive. In a bag specifically, like it has like hours to live unless you actually get it the shelter that it needs. That's what the lizard situation was. So on the birthday, I had to leave the party early, run over to the pet store before it closed, and try to get the proper item so it didn't die.

Oh yeah. Um let people pick out and adopt pets on their own. It's a major uh decision, it's a major responsibility. And uh you can't just dump them off on people.

Speaker 3: I can't imagine you getting another cat.

Speaker 1: I am not getting another cat. You know, I just no.

Speaker 3: Because Becca sends uh enough Snapchat videos to justify like you guys already have too many pets. Uh like she's like, this cat won't stop following me around, and it's like batting her in the face. Oh, dude. And she won't she is like, what's the thought process on that where you're like, I want another one of these Because they're cute, Peaches.

Speaker 1: You see them and they're like, oh, they're cute.

Speaker 3: It's like, oh, I got a paper cut. I want another.

Speaker 1: This might be her calling. Yeah, let's see. K bear you are live on the show, keep that in mind. Who's this? Okay, this is Becca. It is Becca. What's up? Um Peaches. Is he still there? Peaches is still here. I don't know if he can hear it. Okay, Peaches. No, my headphones. Oh, uh, I'll pass the message.

Speaker 4: So what we're what we're gonna do is we're gonna do we're gonna get a pond and we're gonna put some koi fish in the back of the yard. Oh, Peaches, yeah.

Speaker 1: We're gonna just build a pond in my backyard and uh start stocking it with koi fish. Jade, what do you say about that? No. That's right. No, no, no.

Speaker 4: Well, well, I mean, like, too bad. Me and Peaches are gonna do it. Um, Victor's gonna come home one day and it's just gonna be set up. Brad, what do you think?

Speaker 3: No, no, no. Knowing the way you guys fall, you'll probably fall in the koi fish pond.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't need something that I could potentially drown in in the yard.

Speaker 3: Victor dies being drowning in the koi fish pond all of a sudden we get that camera floor. Post it on the K bar page.

Speaker 4: Yeah, if you think about it, I mean, he falls down a lot, so he probably could drown himself in the koi pond.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yep. Don't go anywhere near the hot tub anymore. I don't want to trip. I've been shoved into that hot tub before and uh it it hurt. It hurt really bad.

Speaker 3: What if I gifted you a coi fish and I put it in the hotel? tub? Uh it would die. If you gifted me a corpse. Do they taste good?

Speaker 4: I've got a barbecue grill out back. And I just bought some really expensive aluminum foil from Winco a few days ago.

Speaker 4: No, we we can make that pond really cool over here. Oh, yeah. Millie and the cats would have fun with it.

Speaker 1: Yeah, did you not hear the uh articles I talked about the other day about how um ponds and lakes are currently experiencing toxic algae blooms that are extremely dangerous to animals? Sure, let's put some water in the backyard and just let it sit there stagnant. Let's also grow mosquitoes since we don't have enough bugs at the house.

Speaker 4: Uh that's why you uh do your research.

Speaker 1: Uh I'm gonna go with no on a pond. No on fish.

Speaker 4: Well, well, one day, one day, if you're gonna get home, there's gonna be a trampoline here and a pond with coiffish. No. You're gonna be like, what no bargain Facebook marketplace trampolines either.

Speaker 1: I don't need some kids with a broom.

Speaker 4: No, I'm um I'm I'm already doing it. It's already I'm already picking it up today.

Speaker 1: Oh, in your car. You're gonna p put a trampoline in there? I ain't buying it. Those trampolines are so trashy.

Speaker 4: They're dangerous No, we're gonna put we're gonna put the trampoline in your truck, and then we're gonna put the pond in my car.

Speaker 1: The pond, don't you have to dig a big hole? So now I gotta be out in the yard with a shovel.

Speaker 3: You have to spend like thousands of dollars.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'd have to get the little flags to mark where the sprinklers are. Probably have JD come over.

Speaker 3: You probably have to uproot some trees. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1: Since I can keep the since I can keep the lawn mode, I think a pond's a great idea.

Speaker 4: It's gonna be fun. Thank God you have an awesome wife.

Speaker 1: All right, you're in charge of taking care of the pond.

Speaker 4: Uh uh, you're gonna do all that. But anyway. All right.

Speaker 1: Well, we better we better get to break. Okay, bye. All right, bye. Yeah, uh, don't give people animals without asking first. Not kids.
