Traffic School - 08/16/2024

Look at you showing up nice and early today. What's up with that? I got things I gotta get done, buddy. Oh. That's not the only thing in my life.

Well, I know. I could tell after you, you know, you just blew me off last night. And I was so satisfied. All these years, let's go boating. And I'm like, alright.

It's on. Waiting for the day for you say yes. I go, oh, yeah. We're not going. Yeah.

Not gonna do it. Not gonna do it. So we got Lieutenant Crane in the house. And from the Advocates Injury Attorneys, we have Ben and a new rep for the Advocates Injury Attorneys. Mason, what up, homey?

What's up, Victor? Not much, man. Good to see you. It's been a while. Yeah.

It has been a minute. I think the last time I saw you was when you, me, and your dad here went to see, Bad Omens in Salt Lake. Yep. And that was a great time. Other than that, I got down with the sickness and had to bail on the show a little bit early.

It was, it was rough. It was rough. That was a first. That was a first. But it was a long weekend because we started in Boise on, like, a Friday night watching Sleep Token.

Yes. We drove to Salt Lake the next day to watch Bad Omens. Yeah. And I was I'm blaming that weekend. That dirty Boise crowd.

Somebody got me sick. You know? Gave me gave me, I don't know what I had bronchitis. That's what I had. I caught bronchitis.

Panziitis? Oh, listen to this guy here. Listen to this guy here. Do we already have somebody calling for traffic school powered by the advocates? Alright.

Well, sure. Kayberry, you're live on the show. Please keep that in mind. Who's this? Hey.

This is Zach. How's it going? Zach, doing great, man. What's up? Question for traffic school.

Have you started? Sure. We we can start now. Might as well. So I keep seeing these signs around town saying no trucks.

I got a 25th, the spa 25th. Wondering, is there a weight limit for those for those signs, or it's just all trucks? I can't think of you all down. Those signs are enforceable by 26,000 plus pounds, so anything over 26,000. Oh, perfect.

Alright. Alright. There you go, man. Alright. I appreciate you.

Hey. No problem, man. Have a good one. You too. Peace.

Alright. I realized I wasn't pumping Mason's mic into the recording for the on demand, podcast, so my bad. Got it fixed now, though, so we're good to go there. And then something weird is going on with one of these mics in here, so we'll we'll take a quick break. I'm gonna tinker with them, and then we'll come back, and we'll officially kick off Traffic School powered by the advocates.

And today, everybody, we got a lot going on. We've got a big giveaway that we teamed up with the advocates to do, for the coming week. And Ben, of course, always stops by with goodies. Ben's got a $200 Visa gift card here. Straight up $200 that you could spend on whatever.

Lieutenant Crane, if you had $200 to blow on whatever, what you spending it on right now? Tank of diesel. Tank of diesel. That would take all of your money. So somebody's gonna win $200 today.

Plus we're gonna announce an awesome, awesome giveaway. That's right. Traffic School powered by the advocates. How's it going, Lieutenant Crane? I hope you have a sore neck by the end of this.

I will by looking over there like that. It seemed to have helped the echo you moving over to that little spot there, I think. Now go back over there. How about this? It still seems fine.

Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what was going on last time. I'm gonna blame Jade. He must be tinkering with something.

It could have been something to do with the, callers as well. I I don't know. Anyway, people, call us up. 4 Traffic School powered by The Advocate's injury attorneys. 208-535-1015.

Kay Bear, you're live on the show. Who's this? Hey. Zack again. How are you doing?

Zack doing pretty good. Thank you for helping us drive this program with calls because I'll talk to you in another minute or 2. Because if we don't I know. Right? We don't continue to get calls, we can't get to the point where we do our big giveaway announcement and give away a $200 Visa gift card.

So How are we doing the gift card today? I think at the end of the show to me. You know? Oh, just give it to Zach since he, call it twice. Required.

I think what we'll do is at the end of traffic school, we'll, we'll throw out a caller number, and we'll do it old school radio style, and we'll we'll let everybody blow up the phones. So that could that could happen at any time. We could even do it at in the middle somewhere. So that's a reason for you folks to just keep listening. If you wanna win $200 today, you better listen to the entire show and you better take part in it because we could just go.

That was the best question we've ever heard on traffic school. You win the $200. That's gonna be a high bar. Yeah. It's up to Ben.

Up to Ben. So, Zach, what's your additional question? So more question for you. Like, the red box, you learn a lot to play siren noises over the radio. Okay.

That's an interesting question. Lieutenant Crainer, we allowed by law, this might be an FCC thing, to play siren sounds on the radio. I don't know what FCC is gonna say, but the state police is gonna say nothing because you're gonna have to have one heck of a loud stereo to affect anybody out in front of you with that. Yeah. Like, I would imagine if you're impersonating the police, but could it be considered a distraction to drivers?

This might be something to tie Ben into as well, Ben. If somebody claimed I was distracted by a radio DJ playing sirens, I thought the cops were following me. I got paranoid because I got all this illegal stuff in my car and I smashed into somebody in front of me because I heard a siren and I couldn't see the cops. Well, I'll send it back to lieutenant Crane. Aren't there noise?

You can't have an overly loud stereo just going down the road, can you? There's some noise ordinances in the cities and stuff like that. We're not gonna have anything out on the highways or interstates. But the thing you gotta realize is we're out running our sirens half the time anyway because of the audible. So yeah.

You're so focused on a Justin White job. I know. I'm Please keep talking. Please keep talking. Come on, you guys.

Run the show. Run the show. You're an integral part of this, Victor. We need you to do something here. Alright.

Alright. I think I got the board dialed in. Either that or somebody's gotta switch places with you. I'll do my best to throw in the snipe remarks. But, yeah.

As far as I'm aware, Zach, I think we can do sirens on the radio. I've never tried just pulling up, siren sound effects and just having them go for a really long time. But we we could give it a whirl. Alright. What do you think, lieutenant Crane?

This make for a quality radio program. So, Zach, you you let me know if that's bothering you with the pipes when you drive. I know it's full of definitely need to send the Zoom in so somebody follow Those are some interesting signs. Is gone. I gotta go.

Okay. You got a good day. You too, Zach. See you, man. You could hear the sirens in the background.

That's funny. Turn your radio down, Zach. So we don't have to hear those sirens. We're trying to do a show here. 208-535-1015.

The number to call for traffic school powered by the advocates. If you're just tuning in, we got a big show today. We've got lots of stuff to announce at the end of the show. We're announcing a big giveaway that we teamed up with the advocates injury attorneys to do. I'll give you a hint.

It's for the upcoming in this moment, ice 9 kills and avatar concert going down on the 27th at the mountain America center. You're gonna be at the show right up front in the pit, Lieutenant Craft. Absolutely. Oh, it's gonna be amazing. I know how big of an ice 9 kills fan you are.

So, I can't wait to see you just pitting it up. Wherever Ben goes, I go. Good. We're gonna be quite the crew. We're also bringing along my homie, Lou Brutus from Hard Drive XL.

He's flying in just for this show. So we're we're gonna have a a posse going on. It's gonna be awesome. K Bear, you're live on Traffic School powered by The Advocates. Who's this?

Hey. This is Cody. Cody, what's up, man? Hey. I got a question.

So so I'm a truck driver, gaming trucker dad. Check me out on TikTok. Oh, good for you. If if so I have a question. So in construction zones, right, if we're coming up to a construction zone, I pay attention to signs and I know it's coming up ahead.

Right? If other cars are staying going around us quickly to get in front of us so they get through it first, can I get in trouble for moving over into the passing lane to slow them down so it's not getting so congested? Actually, you can because the way those are designed, and we talk about this a lot that people just don't understand, is they want that to be a zipper movement so that everybody can keep going at a slower pace and left, right, left, right, left, right, just like you zip your coat up. But, that's what happens. People get upset that somebody might be getting ahead of them, and then they slam on their brakes, and they just don't keep the motion going.

But Right. A zipper actually works very well if people will just abide to it. Yeah. Yeah. That's that's my that's my issue too.

Yeah. I'm just wondering if if we were to stop that because the zipper yeah. I I agree with you. The zipper would so would work so much better, but people just wanna get speed up speed up around you to the left and go around and cause everyone to slam on their brakes, and then it causes a huge standstill on the freeway. It's just it's mind blowing.

So, yeah, I was just I agree. The what happens though is they don't allow the left lane to fill up so that it can go left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, and then it gets one solid, and then it backs it up miles down the road before the signs even are in place. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly.

Okay. Okay. Yeah. That makes sense. Yeah.

I gotta tell you, after I found out that you were supposed to do it zipper style, it is so satisfying to get in. I love it. And people think they're doing the right thing by trying to stay in the right lane. Right? Yeah.

They think they're doing the right thing. But really, both lanes need to fill up and then just zipper in, so that they can get it. But Makes sense. What happens, I know this sounds odd, but you get people like Victor. They're like, no.

I've been waiting in this right way forever, and you're not coming in. And I pull my pickup right into the middle of the lane. Get right on the bumper of the car in front of you. Alright. Well, awesome.

Thanks, guys. Hey. Thanks, man. You have a good one. Thank you.

208-535-1015, the number to call for Traffic School powered by The Advocates. I'm impressed you didn't complain about construction. Oh, well, you know, I haven't been on the roads too much recently. Gas is too expensive, so I don't go anywhere anymore. And plus, I just got a new windshield as we talked about last week.

Stay off construction zones. So now I ain't going anywhere because I don't want it to get cracked again. So about pulled on to Lincoln Road the other day and saw they had graded it. And I'm like, no. Nope.

I'm out of here. Going back home. I went through Shelley to get to work. That's right. If there's a loose gravel, I ain't I ain't having it.

So we got Ben and Mason from the advocates in the house. Mason, you're sort I mean, sort of new to the area. I mean, do you have any questions about the law as far as traffic law goes? You know, I don't think I do. I think I'll just break it a little bit less now that I know lieutenant Crane.

Yeah. Now he's seeing your face. He he knows who I am now. I'm an influencer. And I don't even have a TikTok.

You should launch a TikTok, lieutenant Crane. Oh, yeah. But those police TikToks, they're very popular. You know? You could do dances.

Dancers. I yeah. You look at me. I look like a dancer. Caller.

Who's this? What? This is Brenda. Brenda, what's happening? So I have two questions.

Wait a minute. I know. Sorry. I guess. You know you know that new Make it all about you.

I have okay. So you know, like, that new off ramp to go to I 15 or some 20? How there's 2 turning lanes to go right? Somewhere near Idaho Falls? Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. You know? Anyways Somewhere near. Yeah.

I know you can turn right on the right hand one, but can you turn right when you're in the second lane going right? Yes. You can. The two right hand lanes both have a right motion onto highway 20. Okay.

So you can. And I would assume it's a round Red bulb? It's a arrow bulb, so you gotta stop on red. But she's asking just as the traffic's flowing, I believe, can you make that right hand turn? And absolutely out of that middle lane, you can.

Okay. Because I was like, do I go? Do I not go? Do I go? I don't know.

I just lock it up, sit there. Okay. And then second question, I work out on the INL on the INL 500. Right? I've heard something about that.

Yeah. Tell us, but Brenda, where are the UFOs? Come on. I don't know. And with the cover up, she signs a nondisclosure.

Alright. Alright. I don't know. I can't say. See?

Sorry. Nobody's ever gonna give me the truth. I know. Sorry. Okay.

Sorry to interrupt, Brenda. No. You're fine. It's Brenda's time now. How many people can you pass at one time?

Me, personally? Well, I lost. What's that? I lost. So I know what you're asking because there there'll be a string of cars and somebody will just go out and go and buy all of them.

Correct? Yes. Yeah. That's not that's not acceptable. No.

I know. And I'm like, oh, god. Like, every time I see someone, I'm like, oh, someone's gonna get hit. Yeah. See, as far as I was taught around here out near the INL, you're allowed Out near?

Out near the INL, you're allowed to travel at whatever speed you want. That's what everybody's told me. You speed are you The INL 500. Yeah. You teach English class on weekends?

I do. Out near. I'm I'm from Idaho. Alright. I know how to talk like I'm from Alabama.

K? Y'all come back now here. Alright. I got a little bit of country in me. I'm half city boy, half Idaho hillbilly.

So, yeah, there you go, Brenda. Appreciate the call. Yeah. Thank you. See you.

Yep. Bye. At some point during the show today, everybody, we're going to give away a $200 Visa gift card from the Advocates Injury Attorneys. We also have a big ticket giveaway we're going to announce at the end of the show, and it's not a normal ticket giveaway. It's got a lot of moving parts.

Ben, you you know There's too much to talk about. I know. There's a lot included in these prize packages. If you're a fan of ice 9 kills in this moment or avatar, you're gonna definitely want to hear about our big ticket giveaway coming up at the end of traffic school. But if we don't get calls to get us to the end of it, we'll just end the show.

I'll give Ben his $200 Visa gift card back, and then we won't announce our cool ticket giveaway. That's what we're gonna do. What happens if you're not a fan, but you have to go anyway? Let's see. Maybe you'll become a fan.

Yeah. Kayberry. Oh. That's it. Oh.

That's it. You wanna call and hang out, fellas? That's how we put an end to this show. That's right. Well, we'll just play music.

K Mary live on Trait School powered by The Advocates. Who's this? Good morning, Victor. This is Stewart. Love you guys.

Love you, Joe. Thank you, Stewart. What's happening, man? Oh, not much. The other day, I was going through the Flying Y and to go southbound.

And I had a trunk surgeon on me, like, 3 times, like, just trying to push me out of the way. And I've noticed some frequent occurring through there that people are just driving like crazy. So I just wanna tell him, you know, Kenny might wanna get some signature enforcement in there. I'll tell you what. I'll let our district 5 guys know that they are failing.

I'd be happy to deliver the message. Alright. Stewart, will you turn your radio down, man? Thank you, sir. There you go.

I should have asked you at the beginning before you asked your question, but all I could hear is Stewart go. But I got that district 5 wasn't covering the construction zone. So, yeah, everybody, you know, try to be patient out there. Try to make rational decisions. As we know, we're in the middle of the deadliest days of driving.

Think what would Victor do and then do the opposite? Precisely. You know, because if you're driving like an idiot, being aggressive, and you cause an accident, next thing you know, the person you hit, they're gonna have the advocates injury attorneys teaming up with them and they're gonna make sure that, your insurance company is not very happy with you. Hey. Your $200 gift card is not gonna cover it.

Exactly. So Alright, Stewart. Appreciate the call. Hope you have a good weekend, man. Yeah.

You too. See you. Kay Bear, you're live on Traffic School powered by The Advocates. Who's this? Colby.

Colby, what's up, man? Merging onto the highway. Is is there a law or is there a school that can happen for highway 20 traffic? So there is a law. Now the school, Kobe, I would love to advertise that here on, traffic school where you would, be educating the motoring public on how to do that properly.

So you just let us know what night you want to educate those individuals and we'll invite all to come. You know what? I just thought of something with this much as we educate the public on how to drive properly and obey Idaho laws. I think I should be funded by the state government. You know, it's some type of Idaho educator helping people like, Colby here dealing with their frustrations.

Colby understands that he wants to educate them, but I'm already doing it. If this was Utah, you know, you'd get run over. And around here, people just kinda nonchalantly get on the highway and disrupt the whole flow. And I'm one of those, like, lieutenant crane that goes, you know, 25 100 miles a month up and down highway 20, and it is just I don't know. I'm surprised there's not more dead people on on ramps.

Well, I'm glad there isn't COVID. But, yes, the person merging onto the highway or freeway or anything that it's their responsibility to merge properly and try to get up to the proper, flow of speed, the the proper speed to be with the flow of traffic. So Which is 75. I mean, the speed limit is 70. Woah.

Woah. Woah. Woah. Oh, that's close to 75. Everybody does.

If you're doing 75, you're doing good. But yeah. Yeah. The speed limit is 70. And, ever that's one of the main questions I always get asked in my personal life is, so you do give 5.

Right? Courtesy? Courtesy 5? 5. My speedometer is not perfect.

Come on. Alright, Colby. You have a good one, man, and make sure to keep listening. At some point, we're gonna give away $200. Cool.

Thanks, guys. Thanks, man. See you. K Bear, you're live on Traffic School powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys. Who's this?

This is Shaden. Shaden, what's up, man? I was wondering if you needed a CDL to haul doubles. It's like a pickup truck, like a camper and a trailer behind it. You do not.

I was thinking you were gonna ask if Victor needed a friend. That's why you were kinda tippy toeing around that, I was gonna say yes. I've got a few friends. K? A handful.

But, no, you you don't need a CDL to pull doubles. You just need to have some common sense. Alright. Yeah. See, common sense would tell me don't pull doubles.

That's just me. You know, one trailer is bad enough. You ever jackknifed, a trailer, lieutenant Crane? Not that I'm aware of. Oh, good for you.

So, yeah, just be cautious, man. Be cautious. Alright. Alright. Thanks, man.

Peace. Thanks, man. Ben, you drive a truck. What about you? You ever jackknifed a truck pulling a trailer?

I haven't, Victor. I I can't think of a time I did. I'm blaming my neighbors for this week. To put my driveway right here. Yeah.

Exactly. Whoever built the cul de sac, which gave me extra room, and I still managed to bust my taillight out. K Bear, you're live on Traffic School powered by the advocates. Who's this? This is Scott.

Scott, what's up, man? So what kind of endorsement do you need to drive a figure 8 race car? I can tell you. Not much. And ask him just how successful he was.

But I'll tell you, you can come out tonight, 7 o'clock at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Rexburg, Idaho and find out. That's cool. Are you guys gonna have lots of lots of Mountain Dew out there tonight? I I hear that's available all over Rexburg now, and there's even coffee shops opening up. Going crazy.

Woah. It's gonna get wild out there. No limits. Getting jacked up. Hey.

I could use that gift card if you wanna give it to me. Does that how does it say? I don't think it's time to give it away yet. I think we're doing great now. Man.

Make sure you I like it. Make sure you're fast on the fingers because we'll we'll we'll take some calls and, somebody's gonna get it. Do you know how many friends you could bring to the figure eight races with that $200? I actually I actually don't. More than you have.

So good luck, man. Keep listening. We'll give that away soon. Alright. Thanks.

Alright. Thanks, man. See you. Mason, you ever jackknifed a truck in the trailer? I still want it.

No, Victor. I haven't. Bad with all you guys. All making me look bad. I bet if we gave Peach as a first go at trying to back a trailer, he'd jackknife it.

Hey, Mason. Have you ever been to a figure 8 race, drove, and got stuck in the first corner after getting great sound advice of don't drive wide? It's really muddy. No. Don't think I have.

Well, so what? I wish I'd been there for that. What's your point? I was trying to make things extra entertaining for those in attendance. Yeah.

People love watching a car just parked in the middle. Oh, man. K Bear, you're live on Traffic School powered by The Advocates. Who's this? Hello.

It's Tyler. How are you doing? Doing great. What's your question for the show? I was wondering if you can cut off a diesel truck.

I mean, cut off a diesel truck, Lieutenant. On how much you appreciate your life expectancy because they are bigger, they're stronger, they're heavier, and, not only that, we really ought to Yes. Be more cautious and kind around semis. Right? Because Yeah.

They don't operate like a smaller sedan or a pickup, so give them plenty of room. And stay out of the no zone. Absolutely. There you go. I mean, that's hey.

Is that actually against the what? To cut a truck off, yes. Okay. And I found out that 9 out of 10 truck drivers will cause your nose to bleed for you. Oh, wow.

And somebody ends up hearing from the Advocate's injury attorney. Is that right? And it won't get the truck drivers. Nope. No.

It won't. Alright, man. Well, you have a great weekend. You too. See you.

See you. Have any of you guys ever made a piece of audio that awesome? Yeah, take that. No, but the taillight's still in the back of my truck. You might have a taillight, but you don't have that kind of intro.

K, Barry, you're live on Traffic School powered by the Advocates Injury Attorneys. Who's this? Hey. This is Jake. How are you guys?

Jake? Awesome, man. What's up? Hey. Happy Friday.

I just had a quick clarifying question, when it comes to both the semis off? No. You're good. So emergency vehicles, tow trucks don't have blue lights, but you do have to move over to them. Correct?

Yes. Under code. Now when we first put that code into place, it was for, law enforcement and and fire trucks only, but they did go in, redact that, and put it in as, tow trucks do fall under emergency vehicles while working roadside. Okay. Sweet.

And then will they ever be allowed to run blue lights? Do you know? Or is that no. Not as far as I'm concerned. Just because blue lights are to have people pull over and be be dealt with.

So Yeah. No. I totally see it. So cool. Common sense would tell you if you got a tow truck with the Ambers in the back, you probably ought to slide over and let them do their job.

Yep. Yep. Exactly. Cool. Hey.

Good question, man. Guys. Appreciate it. Yeah. Have a good weekend.

You too. 208-535-1015, the number to call for traffic school powered by the advocates. Who's this? Hey. Jeremy.

Jeremy, what's up? I witnessed this a couple weeks ago, and I've been wanting to call and ask. So say the one of my friend's vehicles or something breaks down on the freeway. I can't just go run up and hook up a tow strap and tow them down the freeway. Right?

If you have a friend breakdown on the highway, you can tow them with a tow strap. At 60 plus miles an hour? If you're brave enough. I don't recommend. I will I I was blown away.

I honestly thought that, you know, something like that, you'd be calling a tow truck, and technically, I feel it would be safer too. It definitely would. What really needs to happen is they need to stay on the right shoulder, have their hazard lights on, and pull it pull it to the nearest tactic, and then use side roads to get a trucking right down the freeway. Blew by an exit every feet of road. That sounds like a horrible idea.

Hey. Now this is a this is a great question for you. Does the second vehicle in tow that's not under power, does it have to be insured? Yeah. That's yeah.

I that's why I was, like, I was just blown away when I see it on the freeway. He's blowing he's blowing off my question, but the the answer to the question is yes. Both figures. Yeah. Even though you're being told it's, yeah, injured.

Alright. So if I was to get in a crash because of this I wasn't blowing off your answer there. I just partially didn't hear it all the way. Yeah. So, even though it's being told, if something was to go wrong with the rope and the car come unhooked and it went smashed into somebody else, they'd need to have insurance.

Yep. Well, I was gonna say, Jeremy, you don't gotta apologize to this guy. He's got a badge. It's a yes, sir. No, sir.

I like it, Jeremy. Yeah. It probably does help if you're like, sorry. Sorry, officer. Yeah.

Humility, Victor. I got law enforcement in the family, so I know how to treat them. That's weird. I got a lot of outlaws in mind. I'm I'm the black sheep.

So Well, appreciate it, Jeremy, and hope you have a good day, man. Hey. It's been smooth so far. It's the 1st Friday in about 3 months that I've been done quite early for a day. Is there anything else you'd like to talk about?

Nope. Because I'm about to avoid the construction through the, junction and get off the freeway and get onto a normal road. Oh, good. Who are you? Could you put her on a counseling music, please, for me?

Alright, Jeremy. You guys have a wonderful day. You bet. Tell your counselor, hi. Then I just hang up on him.

Jeremy, you are a great You're awesome. We're just playing. We're just playing. K. Barry, you're live on Traffic School powered by the advocates.

Who's this? This is Adam. Adam, what's up, man? So I had a question for the attorney side of the room there. I I'm sure there's not an actual law, but is there any expectation for a judge to distance himself socially from attorneys?

A judge to distance themselves from the premise. Dismiss. Dismiss. So if there's yeah. I'll let you I'll let you answer.

That's so over my head, that one. Oh. So if there's a conflict of interest, yeah, the the judge would notice that and say, hey. I've got a conflict of interest in this hearing, and, he would dismiss himself from the case. Now Okay.

So it's Now barely an expectation. Okay. Go ahead. Now if for some reason the judge doesn't feel that there's a conflict, the attorneys can apply and say, hey. We feel there's a conflict.

We'd like a a change of. So And do they have to do they You do hear about that a lot. So, no, what would happen is then the judge would take that under consideration and and determine whether or not he felt like he had conflict. If he didn't, he could stay on. Oh, okay.

Or she. So okay. I would think that some other judge would have to come in, but I guess it's their I don't know. Honest, that's their job. Right?

Yeah. Now what would become interesting is if you went to whatever hearing this may be and you lost or the outcome wasn't what you expected, then you have the appeals process. And through the appeals process, you could note that we felt like it was a bias or, yeah, a bias judge and that you was and you could go down that road through the appeal. Okay. Well, that makes sense.

Yep. Alright. That's kinda my job my my questions. So Yeah. The easiest way to get away with, you know, having biased officials look over, your case and things like that, you gotta be a politician.

You said we can't talk about that. I do remember when I worked at a certain furniture store, and I won't name names, there was a a fellow that worked there who would come in at nights and help out, and he'd done it for years. And it came out later that he'd been stealing little bits and bits of stuff for years. And ironically, some he would give these away his presents, and one of them was to his cop friend. So Sorry.

The phone One of them was to his cop friend. Oh, he has given given away Why do I have to translate this whole program to you? I hear little noises, and my hearing was just like I said, my ears were ringing really bad yesterday after the noon hour and apparently my hearing's gone out the door today. So, all right. Well, appreciate the call, man.

Stick around. Good luck. Good luck. Might win $200 at some point. Keep listening.

That'd be dope. Alright. Peace. Talk to you later. K there.

You're live on Traffic School powered by the advocates. Who's this? This is Trina. How are you doing, Victor? Trina?

Great. What's up? Hey. If you notice that your signal has gone out, the signal bulb, are you within the law to use hand signals until you get it fixed? Absolutely.

And I promise no more than 9 out of 10 people will make fun of you. But legally, yeah, you can use your hand signal. What if it's a one fingered hand signal? Oh, you are driving next to Victor. Well, I was thinking I must have been the other day.

Did somebody one finger signal you? Yes. Now there's nothing wrong with pointing at people going, hey. You're not a good driver. No.

I got flipped off for going 55 in the construction zone in Pocatello. Well, you know And everybody Well, there's no police there, apparently. You haven't been listening to the program because, obviously, it's a free for all. I have been listening. As a matter of fact, I'm a little concerned.

I'm I mean, I'm not sure if I'm gonna get accurate information or a joke. Woah. Are you saying that this program is not serious all the time? I'm saying I hope it's not. Oh, okay.

No. But I What would you like an accurate answer to, and we'll answer it right now? Oh, I I got pulled over for and I used my hand signals, and I just was wondering he's he made it sound like, oh, I'll let you go this time. Oh, you got pulled over for using hand signals? Well, because my my taillight was burned out, and I he said, well, you have a that's a moving violation.

But if I was using hand signals, I was within the law. Right? Well, it depends. Is it at night? No.

It wasn't at night. Okay. It was daytime. Did he see your hand signal? He I guess I could assume he didn't.

Yeah. I would assume he didn't too and then yeah. So obviously, he may not have seen your hand signal. Okay. So that is If he did how you would handle that though.

Yep. Yep. And yeah. So good luck getting that repaired. Thank you.

Appreciate it. Here's what I would do next time is when he pulls you over and walks up to the window, I'd be like, I used my hand signals. What's your problem? And I'm like, what if would have worked out all good. No.

No. No. No, Victor. Victor. I am not gonna listen to anything you have to say.

See, when you talk about false information, you're getting false information from him. I am given accurate and correct information when it comes to IDOCODE. Hey. That is that is absolutely great because I don't think anybody can take Victor seriously. I hope not.

Every once in a while they do, and I'm like, come on. Come on now. What's wrong with you people? Right. You know my track record.

That's why we listen. Well, appreciate the call today. Make sure to keep listening because we're gonna give away $200 from the advocates injury attorneys at some point soon. Yay. Alright.

Yay. Well, I want to go to work, so I won't be able to listen to the rest of the show. Is that the energy that this concert you're gonna force me to go to is gonna have yay. Yay. And it might happen real really soon.

If you if you win the tickets, officer, you can just give them to me. Okay? Alright. If there's one contest we're gonna rig, it would be anything where lieutenant Crane could win. No prizes.

Well. You you really ought to call in sick to work because they're gonna make a big announcement, and I hate to I can't talk about it right now because you want facts and I can't talk facts right now, but it sounds like there's a possibility I may be there hanging out with Ben and Victor. Yes. We're gonna have a posse. Lou Brutus, me, Ben, Mason, lieutenant Crane, and Peaches, maybe Jade Davis.

We're all getting matching tattoos. Somebody crack their pants. We're gonna get tattoos. We're not gonna smell good in the pit. Well, I appreciate the call today and, and your patience with me.

Oh, no. No. It's it's all worth it. Right on. And the con Thanks for listening to.

Alright. Well, you have a great day. And then the contest that we're gonna announce hey, hell. Hold on. Hold on.

That's gonna be going on for a week. I got one question. Oh, okay. What job do you respond to that you gotta be there at 9:17? Are you a radio DJ?

I'm about late for work. It's 9:17. I clean Airbnb. Oh. Oh.

That sounds like you can go away with sitting in your car, listening for a little while. It normally is if I don't have to have it ready by a certain time and I don't know what kind of mess they left for me. So now I've got a question for you. So the the price of those cleaning fees for Airbnbs when I've looked at, booking 1 in the a little upset about this too. Now is that are you pocketing all of that cash or is the, homeowner just swindling us?

It's like grocery prices. We definitely don't pocket all the cash. Those weasels. It's inflate. It's greed.

But I'll tell you, if I go into one of those houses and find vomit or anything like that, I raise my rate significantly. I think you should. Cleaning up vomit's not fun. That's why I don't recommend people have their babies. Yeah.

I you know, that's a valid response. Well, we, I I oh, go ahead. Oh, no. You go ahead. I was just gonna I was just gonna say that the rates are valid.

Okay. Alright. We'll we'll we'll take you at your word that the rates are valid and, appreciate, you calling in today. Now go to the Khababab and listen and win that $200. That's right.

Alright. I will try. Alright. Good luck to you. Okay.

See you. Alright. Take care, guys. Bye bye. Alright.

I think we'll do one more call and then we'll do the big, giveaway announcement that we've been sitting on for a while here. Kaibear, you are live on Traffic School powered by The Advocates. Who's this? Hi. It's Royce.

Hey, Roy. What's up? I just had a question about, if if I'm riding in a vehicle, well, actually, if I'm giving a coworker ride, he's a registered, like, felon. And if I have my firearm, we get pulled over, is he gonna get in trouble, or am I gonna get in trouble? And he doesn't know about it.

So He doesn't know you have him at gunpoint? Not yet. That's I hope that never happens, but it might I don't know. If he wasn't aware his probation, and his felony can't be around firearms, he's not aware he's not gonna be in trouble. Okay.

What about if I'm riding in his vehicle and he doesn't know about it? If it's on your person and you didn't tell him, he's gonna be fine. Okay. But if he knows If he knows, then that's a problem. Okay.

So as a friend, you should probably leave your gun at home when you're hanging out with your felon friends. And maybe not hang out with felons. No. There's there's some good guys out there that made errors and and have paid their debt to society. And, so, no, I would be cautious and courteous to them and not put them in a bad situation.

Alright. Yeah. That's probably the best. I just don't like going anywhere without my firearm, but I understand. What kind of places do you hang out?

Downtown Idaho Falls. You know how scary that falls. It's freaky around here. It's so scary. It was.

I tremble in fear anytime I've gotta go downtown. Oh. I took you in a rough part of town here a few weeks ago, and we didn't take any guns. Let's see. Rough part of town.

When you come to visit? Oh, yeah. Out in Saint Anthony. It's that's wild out there. We didn't take any guns.

That's a Wild West, man. You don't mess around out there. Everybody around us had guns. I would imagine. I I would hope so with with your line of work.

So Well, there you go, man. Alright. Thank you so much. Really appreciate it. Hey.

You too, man. Have a good weekend. You too. Bye. Alright.

Let's talk about this big ticket giveaway that we teamed up with Ben and Mason here from the Advocates Injury Attorneys to do. Sorry to everybody who's calling right now. You're gonna have to call back next week to get your questions answered. Please. Please do because we enjoy getting those calls.

We got the big show coming up. Ice 9 kills, in this moment, in Avatar going down on the 27th at the Mountain America Center. First off, we're gonna have 2 lucky listeners and their friends score tickets to the show along with meet and greets with Avatar. Bam. Also gonna score a limited edition Ice Nine Kills watch, an exclusive RIP passport, a limited edition Ice Nine Kills sticker sheet, a souvenir RIP laminate with lanyard, and you get to get into the show early. This one's super exciting. This is gonna be great, and I can't wait to go to the show. Oh, it's gonna be it's gonna be wild. If if you weren't at the last ice 9 kills show with falling in reverse, they were incredible. With Lou Brutus coming in, hosting the show, hanging out, he's gonna be handing out, Lou Brutus swag.

I was talking to him yesterday about it. He's got some limited edition, glow in the dark guitar picks that the only place you can get them is at this show. Nobody's gonna be able to pick them up, through the Lou website or get them sent to them by sending myself a dress, stamp envelope to blah blah blah. The only place to get these glow in the dark, I think he called them Darla Tar Picks because they're the same type of guitar picks that Avatar uses, and he's just handed them out at the show. He'll be doing selfies.

He's probably gonna jump in, do some radio with this day of show, and I'm his chauffeur for, like, 3 days, so it'll be, fun and interesting. I normally, we'd call in lieutenant Crane to, chauffeur people, but usually, you're dealing with, like, these political people and things like that, driving them around. So, hopefully, we'll be safe with me behind the wheel in my my big truck out there. Just don't back it up. Just not I'm not hooking up a trailer, anything like that.

We'll also make some posts online so you can get the full rundown again of because there's so many different things in these packages. So, aside from that big ticket giveaway announcement, I got this $200 Visa gift card from the advocates right here. Alright, Ben.

I think we'll just do a caller number, and you can get wild with this. What caller number do you want us to take to give away this $200 of cold hard Visa gift card cash? We can make it in no. I'm not I was gonna give a big number, but why don't we just do a number? That's too much.

What did we do last time? It was way too many. Well and I did it live on And you and you kept losing count. And I was babbling on in between the calls. We could, like, go to go to break, and I'll just do them fast.

So we could do a big number. It's been a while since we did, like, a 101. Caller number 101. Let's do it. Alright.

We're gonna take caller number 101 for $200 from the Advocates Injury Attorneys, 208-535-1015, caller number 101 right now. Good luck. Kaye Baer, how's it going? Good. How are you?
