Traffic School - He Deleted His Headlights To Feed His Turbo - 09/11/2026

I just

Speaker 1: wanted to get a little bit of extra K-Bear in there, Lieutenant Crane. How you doing this morning?

Speaker 2: Well, I'm doing, and I figured out how much you really care about me.

Speaker 1: Hey, you can ask a lot of people how good I am at noticing when they call or text me. Or care. Because I don't ever turn the ringer on on my phone. I mean, number one, because I sit in this box and do the show, and you don't want it making constant racket, but something happened as I got older, and if I even hear alerts on my phone, I get it. Oh, what is it? Who bothered me? What a boss! I'm a nap. Dang it, it's the cops again.

Speaker 2: I thought for sure, oh yeah, he's gonna want to hear from me. I'm gonna be a I'm gonna be just a touch late today. And I walk in for peaches saying, Oh, hey, Victor, you remember it's traffic school day. Yeah.

Speaker 1: No, I talked about it at about eight o'clock this morning. I'm like, all right, in about 45 minutes, we've got a cop coming in. Okay, because I I was uh reading this story online about a guy in San Francisco who was out walking his dog on the beach, and a man came up and tried to punch him. And it turned out the guy walking his dog was a former marine and martial arts instructor. And so I just was talking about how you never know who you're messing with.

Speaker 2: I love those stories.

Speaker 1: And I used you as an example. I was like, you know, he's he might look like a little guy. A little wimpy whim, little wimpy old man, little jumpy old guy.

Speaker 2: But I was like, you know who I ain't ever gonna mess with? That's right, Lieutenant Crane. So don't ever pick a fight with somebody at you know, any any type of place, because they might you know have some training. Might have grown up on a farm. They might be a real cowboy. You know, not one of these uh transplant cowboys who watch too much Yellowstone. I got a truck on the cowboy now. I bought a cowboy hat. Look at me.

Speaker 2: Do you know why real cowboys wear tennis shoes? Um to keep their boots nice, so they're not mistaken for truck drivers.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't see a lot of guys out working the farm wearing the type of uh clothing that I see the cowboys in Jackson walk around wearing. It seems to be more like car heart clothing and things like that.

Speaker 2: The best thing ever. What my first date with my wife, I picked her. I said, Hey, is it okay if I pick you up after work? And she's like, Yeah, she she didn't realize I worked as a police officer, right? So I show up and I'm just kind of dressed down from leaving my stuff in the locker room at the office, and then I go pick her up.

I'm not in any kind of common clothing. Had no idea that I was a cowboy. Why we're driving to the house, she tells me, Oh, I cannot stand these cowboys around here.

Speaker 1: And now she essentially lives on a farm.

Speaker 2: So I get oh I walk in my room to change. I'm like, I don't know what I'm gonna wear because all I got is cowboy stuff.

Speaker 1: We need to get you a couple of slayer t-shirts, buddy.

Speaker 2: What's the lesson to be learned there? Careful what you say. Yeah, exactly. You might have to eat your words.

Speaker 1: You might not guess this, but I may have had to eat my own words a few times in my life. I might have been spouting off. Oh, yes. Well, listeners, it is traffic school powered by the advocate's injury attorney's time. So if you'd like to ask myself or Lieutenant Crane a question about the law, the number to call, 208-535-1015. Uh been a bit of a hectic morning, so I did not uh make a post online asking for for questions. So perfect. I I got nothing right now.

Speaker 2: Let's throw this out there. If you're traveling to Wyoming, specifically Alta Wyoming, or not Alta, but Alpine Wyoming this morning. Please expect delays. We got a serious car crash at about the 397. That's gonna have some severe delays. So if you have any other route you can take, uh probably a good idea.

Speaker 1: All right, and everybody be safe out there this weekend. I know we just came out of a holiday weekend, but uh, even though we're out of the deadliest days of driving, it's still time to be cautious. All right, let's go to the phones here. K-bear, you are live on traffic school powered by the advocates. Who's this? This is Josie. Josie, what's up?

Speaker 3: Not much. How you doing, Vic? Uh good. Hey, all right. I want to revisit something real quick before my question for Lieutenant Crane. Okay. My significant other finds what's attractive the most out of me is actually listening and paying attention when she's talking. But that also loves wouldn't be below the back.

Speaker 1: Well, you say my hobby was being a cowboy.

Speaker 1: No, we were talking about the things that uh supposedly are the most attractive hobbies in men or the women.

Speaker 2: I don't listen to your station.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. You're listening to some kind of cowboy crap. But uh so and the other thing that uh your wife enjoys, go ahead. Sure.

Speaker 3: Gardening and canning. Now there's not too many guys that actually let alone anybody anymore that gardens or cans. It seems like it's a lost art.

Speaker 1: Well, yeah, let me guess. I'm gonna I'm trying to envision what you're gardening and then putting into jars. You you have an indoor garden, don't you, sir?

Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't have to can that.

Speaker 3: the way I have 14 acres over in Chester, and about an acre of it has corn, potatoes, carrots, onions,

Speaker 1: I know that not to be true because that's a lava field. Uh well, um, I guess uh I I ain't taking up gardening. I don't like dealing with outside and bugs, but um what was your question for traffic school?

Speaker 3: But my question for traffic school is okay, ever you guys are well aware of the road construction that's going on in Highway 20 over here between St. Anthony and Rexburg. I've heard about it, yeah. Now you've got Knife River that is doing the repaving. You've got guys out there, okay, using leaf blowers or big blowing machines to blow off the rest of the debris that the sweeper missed or whatever, but they're out there looking like they're Venus or Sabrina Williams and so I get a rock that goes into my windshield. So do I get to sue Knife River because I have to pay for a whole new windshield.

Speaker 1: I was gonna say this is different than uh debris falling off of a truck, I guess.

Speaker 2: Yes, it is. Uh this is the thing. I don't know if I'd uh you have the right to sue anybody you want, unfortunately, right? There's no limitations. If you you can bring a lawsuit against anybody, whether you win that or not, who knows? And I don't know the circumstances. If they were out there and blew it right at your vehicle and like ha, ha, ha, ha.

Speaker 1: that's what I would do.

Speaker 2: Or another vehicle picked up the rock they blew and threw it up on your vehicle, then it's just road hazard. So I don't know how the particulars were, but yeah, do you got a dash cam?

Speaker 3: No, unfortunately I don't, but you know, I'm I'm just bickering because they're out there swinging the leaf blower like it's a tennis racket, and they've got traffic flowed down to 25 miles. Traffic's at 25 mile an hour, so it's it wouldn't be it shouldn't be the vehicle in front of me. You may when they're just swinging that thing around, you know.

Speaker 2: Are you sure it was a leaf blower? I don't know.

Speaker 3: Maybe the kid actually just threw a rock instead of who cares today.

Speaker 2: Maybe it was this dude in nature's call.

Speaker 1: And I mean, uh uh honest, honestly, to deal with a lawsuit over a cracked windshield, like if it's just a chip, I mean free rock chip repair generally if you have insurance and even replacing the windshield as long as you're uh comprehensive is low, you can get a new windshield fairly cheap. Uh what was the name of that one company that replaced my windshield, Lieutenant Craig?

Speaker 2: Rocky Mountain Windshield.

Speaker 1: Rocky Mountain Windshield. They did a great job. Did a great job.

Speaker 3: I had A1 look at it, and he said the second the inside second layer of glass is already shot as well. So it's gonna cost me $500 plus my deductible

Speaker 2: to man, that was a powerful leaf blower.

Speaker 1: 500 plus the deductible.

Speaker 3: Well, the deductible and it's it's $500 out of my pocket. If I pay if I pay cash, I think they said it's like $350. Well, um that sucks, dude.

Speaker 1: That's a conundrum. But I I want to make something very clear. The speed limit is $55 through there. Uh if it does get congested, it does slow down. So you could have been at 25. I find it hard that a leaf blower, and so I'm just saying if you called Knife River and complained about the windshield being broke by a leaf blower, they're gonna say, okay, we had a leaf blower powerful enough to lift a big enough rock to hit your windshield at 25 miles an hour and penetrate completely through the windshield. Right. So that's that's the devil's advocate.

Speaker 1: I kind of want to test my leaf blower at home. I have this one. It look, I mean, it looks like a cannon.

Speaker 2: It is awesome. Your windshield's already shocking Victor Shoe and Roxy.

Speaker 1: Yeah, my windshield's already cracked, so you know. But I want to see if I can lift rocks with it. Because it's powerful. Like when you turn it on, it pushes you backward. It's awesome. And you're a big boy. I am tough.

Swole, as the kids say. Well, yeah, man. Good luck. I mean, you probably could you know, uh escalate the issue, but it might just be cheaper to just deal with the windshield. unfortunately.

Speaker 3: I'll probably just deal with it. I just just wanted to vent about it.

Speaker 1: You work for a different uh road construction company, don't you? You just wanted to stick it to Knife River. Call that an anti.

Speaker 3: I work for the county.

Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right. Then you you should be able to talk to somebody about this. I I guess. What are you calling us? Right. Talk to your color.

Speaker 2: No, you have the right to do anything you'd like on that. I it's just gonna be hard to prove that that's not just a road hazard. Understandable. All right, ma'am.

Speaker 1: Well, well, good luck with it. Um I know how frustrating that can be, because after uh Rocky Mountain Windshield replaced my windshield within two days, I had a cracked windshield. Oh, Uh yeah, it's it's just Idaho life, man.

Speaker 3: One one last question for you, Victor. Now, if hypothetically I won the meet and greet for theory of a dead man. I have a an acoustic guitar. Would it be possible to take that to the venue and have the band sign autograph that? Or is that like totally against all regulations and whatnot with Mountain America and with the band and

Speaker 1: generally we would have to get some type of pre-approval for that because the venue doesn't let most people uh you know come and go.

Speaker 2: Um you tickets from a different radio station, they do it all the time.

Speaker 1: But whatever. if But if you get a call from me later today saying you've won meet and greets, uh let me know that that was you, and uh I I can look into it at least. I uh no guarantees, but it it's possible.

Speaker 2: It's all about the listener.

Speaker 3: I I appreciate it. I mean, it's a it's a one-of-a-kind acoustic guitar.

Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with the band. Back in my 20s and 30s, I had I had to drink a lot of beer to get a lot of UPC codes to send into Miller High Life and get the signature guitar.

Speaker 1: Back when the the like alcohol and tobacco companies could give you prizes for being an addict, right?

Speaker 2: Oh only they did that during the last you know couple decades. I'd have all kinds of cool stuff. How are you doing this week? I'm doing good. Awesome. I'm doing I'm doing well. I told you last week I was gonna get on the wagon and I'm doing good. Awesome. Congratulations. Thank you.

Speaker 3: I'm happy for you. That's that that's a week now. Five days, six days. That is a week.

Speaker 2: I don't know, caller if you realize this, but from Friday to Friday, seven days.

Speaker 3: No, no, he he said he got off Friday and then spent all day at Becca's work, which was a mistake because he hated himself Saturday.

Speaker 1: You do listen closely to this program. I yes, uh Saturday was the official start. Okay. I made a mistake on Friday. And I regretted it. So but good sense, good sense. So there you go.

Speaker 3: All right. Well, you just you gentlemen have a great day, and thank you for taking my call. Absolutely.

Speaker 1: You have a good one too, man. K-bear, you were live on traffic school, powered by the advocate's injury attorneys. Who's this?

Speaker 3: This would be the very disappointed and disgruntled caller 19.

Speaker 1: Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. I guess Carl did not win Seven Dust Interior Bad Man Tickets this morning.

Speaker 3: I was I was two ten and eighteen yesterday. So I was I I don't know what colors I was, but I know I was nineteen. I was right there.

Speaker 2: Oh, I know, Carl's. I want an application for your work because You'd calling off your days trying to win radio contests all day.

Speaker 3: That's a good gig.

Speaker 2: It's a good gig. Where's Carl?

Speaker 3: It's not bad. Yeah.

Speaker 2: It's supposed to be sweeping the floors. No.

Speaker 3: I got an A in hide and seek, man.

Speaker 2: Hey, Carl, are you one of those employees that has a friend that comes with you and observes your your work throughout the day? Yeah. right.

Speaker 1: Yeah, right. Very much. nice. If you call it work.

Speaker 2: They have They have to keep persuading you. Come on, Carl. Come on back to the broom. Come on back.

Speaker 3: Yeah, if tractor Jeremy's the one who's, you know, rolling in going, Carl, get to work. No wonder we get nothing done over there.

Speaker 3: Oh man, that's awesome. Oh, so uh my question today, my neighbor, uh, thankfully, he's a hot rotter. I mean, I would have believed it. Oh, man. When when my old neighbor sold my house, I'm like, please don't be ethyl. And every time I fire up the pinnow, I get the you know, Chevik's finest chasing me down.

Speaker 1: He said Ethel, you know, like a really old lady. I was close. I was close on the dump button. Use it maybe try Deborah next time or something, Carl.

Speaker 3: Make me nervous. Oh, sorry.

Speaker 2: Carl, catch up with the times. Those women are called Karen's now. Yeah, no, okay. Okay. Well, see, I'm old.

Speaker 3: So yeah. Oh, man. So, anyways, yeah, he uh uh uh the kids these days they call it a headlight delete where they take the uh they take a headlight out.

Speaker 2: Now wait a minute, you don't know they call them Carol or Karen's, but you know about headlight deletes.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say I've never heard of this in my life. Not my young man. Right.

Speaker 3: Yeah. So so yeah, what they do is they take out a headlight and they have the intake tube for their turbo. Uh but uh is it are you required to have two headlights?

Speaker 2: Absolutely you are on a vehicle if they're both there, they both gotta be working. Yep. Right. But to register a motorcycle or uh a UTV or something like that, you just gotta have one headlight to the front.

Speaker 3: Right, right. Okay, I was I was wondering about that. Yeah.

Speaker 2: But if you if it comes manufactured with two, you're required to have two, and they both have to be working.

Speaker 3: Right, right. Uh is there a big fine on that?

Speaker 2: I mean, Oh, it's huge 68 bucks. That's that's that's a felony. 68, buddy.

Speaker 1: You're gonna get locked up for many years. You're going down.

Speaker 3: Dude, dude, you spent $8,000 on a new engine setup and stuff. So I don't think like a $500 ticket's gonna bug him none. Well, what I'm not getting is okay.

Speaker 1: Why would you have a headlight out and what does it have to do with the turbo? Yeah, I don't I don't understand what the point of this is.

Speaker 2: Now wait a minute. How many years have you understood what Carl called for? Good point. Yeah.

Speaker 1: And you So they called it headlight deletion or something.

Speaker 3: Uh uh headlight delete, and that's the intake for the turbo. You're forcing more air into the engine. So the more air, the more fuel, the more horsepower you're getting.

Speaker 2: So you have fun air through the headlight assembly to the turbo. Right.

Speaker 3: You just take the headlight completely out, and you have your intake, you have your intake tube going into the turbo.

Speaker 2: Did you realize that there's a whole grill in front of the car too? Oh, I know.

Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of places you could create airflow back in Carl's day.

Speaker 2: They made what they called hood scoops.

Speaker 1: Hood scoop. Is that that thing that's on the top of the hood? Yes. It sucks air. It sucks air. And the faster you go, the more air goes into it. Exactly.

Speaker 3: Yeah, when I searched for headlight delete, uh apparently this is a thing because there's all these companies that are offering to do it for people. Just know this. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yep.

Speaker 3: No, back back in my day, my kids said, Dad, did you guys have tablets back in your day? And I said, Yeah, and they came with a hammer and a chisel.

Speaker 1: Well, yeah, uh, don't do that, everybody. I'm telling you, I uh I've been made aware that it's a law to have two headlights when I didn't know I had one out. And I got made the habit of breaking the lawsuit.

Speaker 3: much Pretty much half of the stuff I do is misdemeanors, maybe two percent felony.

Speaker 2: You need to get a motor uh gang jacket that says I'm a 98%er, but two percent felony.

Speaker 3: Oh, that sounds awesome. I gotta do that now. Thank you. well good to hear from you Carl man right on you too so real quick story on 9 11 I'll never forget uh Craig Road is the northernmost road on in Las Vegas and uh it runs right into Nellis Air Force Base well on September 10th there's there's literally right across the from the base from the entrance to the base in Nellis Air Force they got all the nukes all the stuff some guy was moving and he parked his rider truck right in front of the entrance to the Nellis Air Force Base. I bet he walked out I mean they had the bomb squad they had a SWAT team they had everybody you know it's gonna be a bad day when you got a news crew on your front lawn man that was I I mean I I remember going I we couldn't get any local news because it was all overshadowed by uh you know national news I had to get on the radio thankfully and they let us know what was going on but I was getting ready to jump town and head to Pocatello Wow.

Speaker 1: I didn't hear about that one either but yeah if you're driving a moving truck you should probably not park it near any type of government facility and just sit there on any day especially with

Speaker 2: signs out say stay back 300 feet.

Speaker 1: Yeah um you know I've um on accident rolled up to a gate to a military facility and um they take those places very seriously And they have big guns that they greet you and talk to you while they're holding quietly talk to you they think they they were nice amazingly because you followed orders so yeah exactly sorry sorry we just thought this would be a fun road to drive down we're not looking for aliens we swear they're in the car with me

Speaker 3: oh man oh yeah I will follow all those orders absolutely no doubt no doubt right on right on well hey you guys have a good weekend man I'll try calling again this afternoon maybe I'll be caller 19 and a half

Speaker 1: hey good luck to you Carl

Speaker 3: all right you guys have a good weekend man you two man peace

Speaker 1: 208 535 1015 is the number to call for traffic school powered by the advocates those who were calling a minute ago Carl's a little bit long winded sometimes so you can go ahead and call us back now lines are all open it's all

Speaker 2: good quickly call back he might think of something

Speaker 1: else Carl could call back it's happened many a time so let's see I thought I left open one other tab just in case we had one of these moments where uh nobody was calling uh 208-535-1015 the number to call for traffic school powered by the advocates or I told you about the guy who punched tried to punch a dog

Speaker 2: walker if you uh if you want your question answered you didn't need to call today because next week I'm out of town remember

Speaker 1: you're out of town so next week's gonna be uh boring I mean it's it's my show so it generally is uh we'll probably do ask us almost anything like are you calling in I won't be able to call in where I'm at okay so next week's gonna be ask us almost anything uh you can call and talk to me and you know I'm guessing peaches will be in the room or something like that I know I'm sorry but I have to see his face yeah uh caller you were live on traffic school powered by the advocates who's this George Straight George Straight Yeah! well welcome to the show George got some ocean front property what's up

Speaker 3: George is live in Texas so I I lost all that property

Speaker 1: oh dang it dang it

Speaker 3: back to back to the the chip in the windshield uh I didn't hear if you guys had a response to this or not but I do believe that in their proposals and their contracts the

Speaker 4: companies like Knife River or whoever has to have a provision for broken windshields you have to place a claim through them

Speaker 1: so maybe that maybe that guy I there you go he call them

Speaker 2: well that's exactly what we said you can call and talk to him but it's gonna be hard to prove yeah that you have a leaf blower that blew the uh rock hard enough to lift off the ground hit him in the windshield he says he was doing 25 miles an hour and it broke through both all the way through yeah

Speaker 4: and and you know so you know that's a lie but that's

Speaker 2: but yeah he can file a claim on whatever company it may be whether it gets approved or denied we said we didn't know

Speaker 4: yeah it it's it's on the responsibility of the contractor to uh piecemeal that out because obviously I you know there's lots of people that will claim that um and it's like but you were not even on the roadway. Oh, they're because they're looking for a new windshield. That's not how it works.

Speaker 2: I I will tell you this. Years ago, and we talked about this before. We had a project out on uh highway 26, and they put some seal down, and it didn't take. And there was like so many windshields getting broke. And uh unfortunately the contractor, the insurance had to pick up all those windshields because there was just uh rock debris flying everywhere.

Speaker 1: But I guess, yeah, I mean there was lots of evidence.

Speaker 2: Yeah, they knew. and then they shut the road down, slowed the slowed the drive over the rocks down dramatically, and then got it taken care of. But until they did, yeah, they ended up buying quite a few windshields. That is correct.

Speaker 1: Well, appreciate that uh advice for the caller earlier. And uh, yeah, I mean, you can always escalate issues, talk to companies, contact your own insurance. Uh your insurance can call their insurance. There's people who can battle this out.

Speaker 2: Try this, kill them with kindness first, right?

Speaker 1: Yeah, it goes a long way. Goes a long way being uh taking the nicer route. I don't know if I'd call them up and say, one of the Williams sisters he was out there swinging that thing around like a tennis racket, swing our windshield. Mr. Will.

Speaker 4: I do have another comment. So I did try and call it the urin. Mr. Longwinded obviously took my thing, but at least answer the phone and say caller 11, and I'll understand what you mean.

Speaker 2: Yeah, instead you go. you, you, you, you.

Speaker 1: Did I not call it 11 is the the same thing as memo 11? Two middle fingers, baby.

Speaker 1: Oh I'm gonna start using colour number 11 for all of our contests. I hadn't thought about it that way.

Speaker 4: Oh okay. I didn't mean mean to start that kind of film.

Speaker 1: Well, we appreciate the call today, man, and good luck on the next round of giveaways.

Speaker 4: Uh yeah. What if I'm a 11 Bye-bye, brother? See you, man. Peace out. Peace. All right.

Speaker 1: 208 535 1015 is the number to call for traffic school powered by the advocates. Let's see. Um, I got a message from a guy who says he can't call because he's working. I guess he doesn't work where Carl works.

Obviously, not because they're fighting over the phone. So Dakota wanted to know uh how those tinted license plate covers are legal. They're not legal. They are illegal. That's right, Dakota.

We've talked about it before. Because without fail, the worst drivers I see on the road that are speeding, weaving through traffic, driving like maniacs. At least at least half of them got those tinted license plate covers.

Speaker 2: I probably shouldn't say this, but I had a trooper had to talk to about license plate covers, right? Because the the driver had a plate cover that come up and showed the uh place where they bought the vehicle and it covered the word Idaho. Uh-huh. And he says, You realize I need to be able to read that word Idaho.

Speaker 1: I think you just got to be able to read the numbers and letters, right?

Speaker 2: It is officially against the law, but can we have some discretion and say, hey, I want to educate you. You can't have that license plate cover, but I'll figure it out. I can see that that red, white, and blue plate is yeah.

Speaker 1: Don't go look at my truck. I have a license plate. It's not a cover, it's not tinted. It just wraps around and it might cover a little bit of the word Idaho. I don't know. Yeah, you're going down. K bear, you're live on traffic school, powered by the advocates. Who's this? This is Bill. Bill, what's up? That's not a very common name. No. I don't know anyone with the middle name William who might be in the room.

Speaker 3: I'm a little offended. I am from Chester, and I have had a dual headlight delete before.

Speaker 1: A dual headlight, but not going to the turbo. Go ahead.

Speaker 3: Yeah, I I was ahead of times, I guess, for that with my dual headlight delete might, you know, 78 pinnow.

Speaker 1: So you had no headlights.

Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I can't hear you.

Speaker 1: He's on that lava field all day, Chester.

Speaker 1: We ain't got good service out here out in the country. Um, Well, I am from Chester. I mean, I guess you can do whatever is, but you have to have headlights, right, Lieutenant Queen.

Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're gonna be on the road, yeah. You have to have two headlights. Well, if it's manufactured, you have to have two, right? But if you have a motorcycle, that can be one, a scooter can be one, a tricycle type motorcycle can be one, but a manufactured vehicle manufacturer with two headlights has to have two headlights that are operable. Oh, well, well, whatever you have.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we're having problems with the uh phone connector.

Speaker 3: I can hear you now. I've I'm good.

Speaker 2: But we can't hear you.

Speaker 1: Yeah, we couldn't hear what you were saying now.

Speaker 3: Great. Great.

Speaker 2: You must be standing right by the cell tower. I am I'm right underneath it. So maybe I could climb it.

Speaker 3: Hey, I have a question.

Speaker 2: Close your driver's door while while in motion or put your seatbelt on.

Speaker 3: I haven't got that delete yet.

Speaker 2: If if headlights aren't important, why is a seatbelt?

Speaker 1: You have to have windshield wipers too, just so you know. You don't need the windshield.

Speaker 2: Why is that guy complaining? He can just take it out.

Speaker 1: Yeah, why don't they do that instead of a headlight delete? Just take your windshield out.

Speaker 2: Can you imagine taking a rock to the fore?

Speaker 1: Oh that would hurt.

Speaker 3: Well, you don't need a grill either, do you? No. No. Okay.

Speaker 2: That's more airflow. We're going to get a call from Carl.

Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, back when I was young, living in Kansas. We used to take our grills out.

Speaker 3: Well, my question is, okay, so there's the Bermuda Triangle there in Chester where all the traffic accidents happen, you know, between the where the freeway or the double lane. Or lane two, you know. Or lane. to two. How do we how do you how do we do something about that? You know. You move.

Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna say. Get out, Chester.

Speaker 2: I hear there's a lot of nice properties in California.

Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't have any traffic problems there. Oh, Great.

Speaker 2: Uh no, you know what's interesting is the Idol Transportation Department's got some studies out. They're working through some logistics on that, but they have some traffic plans to put a nice roadway up there up to the Ashton Hill.

Speaker 3: Yeah, since 1976.

Speaker 2: Well, you know, perfection doesn't come.

Speaker 3: Back when I deleted my headlights.

Speaker 2: This is for your grandchildren, sir.

Speaker 1: Yeah, same with Idaho Falls. I've read they've got plans to somehow deal with traffic here. Maybe in about a decade. You know, they'll get started on it.

Speaker 2: The problem with that up there is the environmental studies, they gotta get through. Well, but the other problem is there's idiots on the road, right?

Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? What?

Speaker 3: They don't realize, okay, if I stay behind this guy for a mile, I can pass him, right? But oh no, we gotta pass and kill somebody instead. So how do we make people aware that more aware that there's a four lane coming?

Speaker 1: Um, Well, I mean, I guess you could set put up one of those signs, passing lane ahead, like you see when you're out on the way to Ireland.

Speaker 2: Four lane coming in 12 miles.

Speaker 1: Yeah, something like that. Um as far as curing curing stupid. Um there's a pill for that. I don't know if you've listened to the show for a long time, but uh I've been waiting for stupid to get cured for about 18 years. My Facebook feeds worse than ever. So I don't know.

Speaker 3: It's just it's crazy that people are so impatient that they pass you on your way to Ashton and then at the stoplight in Ashton, you're right behind them. I know. You know, out there.

Speaker 2: I know how did eight IT put that stoplight there.

Speaker 1: I do hate that stop.

Speaker 3: You know, I was against that stoplight. I will say I was against that stoplight, but I will have to say it has worked really nice.

Speaker 1: I bet it did because people would be bombing through Ashton if the Oh yeah, you know, because you you're on like a highway without that stoplight and seeing it ahead. I bet people would be driving much more recklessly through that area.

Speaker 3: But you know, anyway. That was that's my beef is how do we get people to slow down from through there? Uh huh. Um the million dollar question.

Speaker 1: I've the question been asked by police since the invention of a vehicle that could go fast.

Speaker 2: Don't come in.

Speaker 3: up with the answer. I'll be on work. Can I put comp lights on my deleted pinwheel? Sure. Sure.

Speaker 1: Just don't let them be blue.

Speaker 3: No, I want blue lights, so I think that.

Speaker 1: Well, uh, you you you might get stopped. I mean, you can do anything. Stopped by blue lights. Yeah, you can do a lot of things. Just doesn't mean you should. I don't know.

Speaker 3: I just think it'd be great if more people were more aware that they don't have to be stupid.

Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna try to you know, point out more often on this show that people should not be stupid.

Speaker 2: Because I I might have to do doing that enough. That's your job, education. Okay, I'll work that. Let's educate the public.

Speaker 1: I'll educate better. Hey, people, stop being so stupid.

Speaker 2: Hey, we could do public service announcement.

Speaker 1: Don't be stupid. This message courtesy of the Idaho State Police. This is Lieutenant Crane. Don't be stupid. All right, I'm putting that in our PSA rotation. Well, thanks, man. I hope you have a great weekend.

Speaker 3: Thank you. Peace.

Speaker 1: How did how did the show go by that fast? I showed up late. Oh, yeah. I guess that's part of it. So uh yeah, good show. I hope you enjoy. See, I already forgot where you said you're going next week, so I'll ask you about it off air, but I hope it's enjoyable.

Speaker 2: I can't remember if it was a good or bad thing. Our relationship is so tight. I know. Didn't know I was coming today. Don't know where I'm going.

Speaker 1: I knew you were coming, but by the time you were late, it was like the schedule's thrown off. I already forget. I was ready to start yapping about I don't know, uh, bands playing at the grocery store or whatever. Real important. Yeah. You know, only the most important news.
