#0422 - This Little Piggy Built His House Out Of Fecal Sludge Biochar - 09/11/2026

Speaker 1: Alright, a big celebratory yay. It's Friday, everybody. What up? Welcome to the Victor Wilt program. Alright, uh, sorry I wasn't in yesterday. I had some things I needed to work on that uh just required a day of absence. And um thank you to my fellow employees for helping cover a couple things. It's greatly appreciated. Yeah, I hope you had a uh a good day yesterday. One was it was alright.

It was alright. You know, I've been uh working on some things at home, helping uh my lady work on a project, and she's doing really good with that, so I'm very proud of her, and I think she's gonna kick some butt on that, so that's cool. And it's Friday, so that's that's cool. I need a couple days to try to sleep in. Seems like every weekend there's been something going on that requires uh getting up early, and maybe I'll get lucky and won't have to do so this weekend.

It's too bad it's not another three-day weekend, but hey, I'll take it. Now I just gotta start compiling my list of things that I need to get done. Uh prior to the end of the workday, so I can get out of here on time. It's gonna be a busy one. You know, short week this week already with Monday being off. I was already behind.

Got myself even further behind. But the the plus is that hopefully that makes the workday go by really fast since I have uh about a billion projects that need to be completed. So, yeah, I'm gonna start pounding caffeine and trying to get myself nice and pumped and jacked up for the day. Get excited for the Friday.

We got traffic school on the way with Lieutenant Crane of the Idaho State Police. Was it this weekend that uh he said he was gonna? I think it's at the end of the month, he said he was gonna be out of town.

So he should be in here doing it live. Get them questions ready. Uh, if you're listening on demand, I generally post traffic school separate from the regular show, so make sure to check that out. I mean, I think I need to get the noon hour from uh Wednesday posted as well. So lots to do, lots to do, but we'll get her done. We'll get into the weekend, and hopefully there's lots of fun stuff to talk about on the internet or in the news or whatever. Uh, because it's Friday and we need to have a fun show.

But I appreciate you tuning in. Let's do this. Let's crush this day.

Let's go. I'm so glad that it's Friday. So glad. Alright. What should we dive into here? All right, I I have to talk about it. I didn't want to get into it, but my whole social media feed so far, as I've attempted to find content, is all talking about political stuff that's happened in the last couple days. That I didn't really look at social media yesterday.

So I missed uh the details on this uh convention going down in Dallas. Apparently, we have been promised that if uh the Republicans win the midterms, every American gets a check for $5,000. Now when I saw the first article about this, I'm thinking.

Alright, isn't it like illegal to come out and say, hey, if you vote for us, we'll pay you money. I so that's the number one thought. Like I can only imagine if back in the day, like, you know, old man Biden, I'll give you $5,000. People would have lost their minds.

Uh most people are seem to just be not taking this very seriously because I don't know if you remember. We've we've been promised a lot of money in the last couple of years. Did you get that money? Remember them like $5,000 doge checks? I mean, hey, if the government's gonna start just handing out cash, I'm one of those people that even if I'm on the other side, heck yeah, I will take the money.

Because I don't know if you've been to the grocery store recently, but five G's. That would definitely help my uh credit card debt. It sucks when you get to the point that you have to buy groceries on credit cards, but you know, that's 2026. And uh I think uh tariff refund checks, we were promised some of those. You know, we're gonna get uh big fat refunds from the tariffs.

Uh didn't get any money there, so I don't know. Just just me. This is just me. But when the government tells you we're gonna give you money, and they've you know done this a few times and then never gave you money. I don't know. I I'm not very optimistic that we'd actually get the money.

But that's just me. Now you know, if if that side wins the midterms, and we do get 5,000 bucks if I get a check in the mail for five grand, okay. I'll eat crow. I'll be like, I was wrong.

They for once actually gave us the the free money that they're promising they're gonna give us. But yeah, I I don't know. I don't know if I'd bank my vote on getting five G's. All right, usually when something seems too good to be true, it probably is. It usually is. But one thing I can tell you is that when we promise to give you away stuff, we do it. Today, we're gonna be giving away meet and greets for theory of a dead man and seven dust.

Let me see how many tickets Peaches gave away while I was gone here. Or did he like do the whole list? Okay, yeah, he basically did the whole list. So might do one more back to back tracks type giveaway. And uh after that, at some point today, Peaches and I will. I better get on uh putting these names on a list, actually. Uh chop up the names, put them in the old barrel and draw ourselves some winners for theory of a dead man meet and greets.

Five people and a friend are gonna get to meet the band in addition to being able to go to the show for free. So yeah. We live up to our promises. Uh, but we're not giving away five grand. That'd be a great prize.

Uh Jade work on that. See if we can do the would that be a good radio promo? If we could get a sponsor, we're giving away to one lucky winner all the money that was promised by the government that nobody got.

Come. Now, no matter what side you're on, you gotta be able to agree with me that being promised free money and then not getting it sucks. Because free money would be great right now, right? Be awesome. Well, guess I'm gonna have to turn into peaches and start selling my worldly possessions, get a little bit of extra dough. I'm sure I got some crap around the house I could sell for a few bucks, right?

Require a lot of work. I should probably instead like shampoo the carpets, but hoping to uh get some things done this weekend. I'm I'm feeling pretty decent today, fairly optimistic about existence, so that that's a good way to roll into the weekend. All right. Well, I promise more music's coming up and content.

If I can get my hands on five G's to give away, I'll hook you up with that as well. All right, we'll be back. Time to get into a little bit of poop news.

Oh, yeah. Stuart sent me this, and I had to do a little bit of googling, make sure this is a real story, but apparently it's true. I've I've done enough Googling and found other resources aside from Facebook to show this to in fact be true. Uh scientists have turned human waste into concrete that is up to 42% stronger than traditional uh mixtures. I ended up going from Stewart's Facebook post that he found to sciencealert.com.

I'm gonna assume sciencealert.com is legit. I don't know. Maybe it's not, but they have a disgusting video here showing um what I'm guessing is the uh poo concrete coming out of uh a large pipe and being spread like you know your driveway or if you're replacing the sidewalk. Uh Lieutenant Crane, I believe does um concrete work on the side. Um I'm gonna leave this tab open and ask. Listen, Lieutenant Crane, I must know if you are using fecal sludge biochar to with you know, to make these driveways stronger.

We deal with uh pretty pretty brutal winners around here from time to time. That's why your driveway ends up all cracked and stuff. Like, I would love to replace my entire driveway. Um but then also the the gravel um like RV parking area that just ends up filled up with weeds that I've been too lazy to get out and spray, even though I bought the you know horrific chemicals that I probably don't want to spray anywhere.

Any anyhow, I just I haven't got the job done. But I'd love to pave that area too. Just have one giant driveway. One giant, uh what do they call it again? Fecal sludge biochar concrete driveway.

The first in East Idaho. Is it more expensive or is it cheaper than traditional concrete? Because I mean 42% stronger is uh that's quite a bit stronger. And I want a driveway that's gonna last a long time. Hey, we gotta do something with all this dookie, all right?

And if we can take it and uh can you imagine? What's foundation of your house built out of? Well, duh, Fecal Sludge Biochar. Has that band name been used yet? That sounds like a good name for a metal band. FICO Fecal Sludge Biochar. It's kinda doesn't really roll off the tongue very easily, but the phrase it's just fun to say.

Try it. Fecal sludge biochar. Hey, this is just science and new technology, okay? It's not gross. It's been treated, it's not like they just you know gather up all the porta potties and I don't know, mix in some dirt and let it dry. All right, this is a process.

Okay, it's it this is uh sludge that's been treated, and you know, I I would assume it doesn't reek you know, you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, for all you contractors out there, I just want to let you know about new products available that you could use this as a selling point for your company. We are the first company in East Idaho offering fecal sludge biochar concrete. The foundation in your house is gonna last thousands of years. You want a driveway that's never gonna crack?

You need fecal sludge biochar. Brought to you by the only company in East Idaho doing it. I I don't know what company's gonna do it first, but I want to see billboards about it. You can use the image of that that you know pipe that I saw just dumping out the the fecal sludge concrete, put it up on a billboard. People go, what is that? That looks gross. Oh, it's a great new way to build my house. Alright.

We'll see what else I can find in the news. Now that we've made it to seven, one hour done. All right, days gonna go by fast. I need to get home to my lady and enjoy a quality weekend uh doing like chores and family stuff and whatever. Should be a nice chill, relaxing weekend.

I'm very very excited for it. Alright. Let's roll. Well, I guess Friday morning's as good of a time as any for a little conspiracy theory action.

Alright. Have you wondered recently? Where has the Hawk Tua girl gone? She just kind of disappeared, didn't she?

You know, the talk of the internet for a while there. Haley Welch, the hockey girl. If you don't know who she is, uh, Google it. I'm not going to explain how she got famous.

If you weren't paying attention, you can you know do the research. So anyway, she was doing a podcast for a while. Then I think she did uh a crypto coin thing that made a bunch of people mad.

Yeah. I think a lot of people lost some dough. Yeah, I'm telling you, if you see somebody launch a new like crypto coin, it just doesn't seem like a good idea to invest in it.

Alright, just but that's just me. I'm no financial expert. That's my opinion. You do what you want to do.

Doesn't seem like a good idea. But anyway, hawk to a girl. I ain't seen anything about her in a while. Well, I have found out why. She has still been in the spotlight. Just nobody knew until TikTok figured it out. They figured out where she's gone. Are you ready for this? The Hawk Tua Girl is Ella Langley.

Yes. Okay, you're a rock listener. You might not know who Ella Langley is. Uh, she's currently the basically biggest star in country music and probably pot music. She's got the most popular song of 2026.

It's been number one on the charts, like the billboard charts and such for I think like four months or something. And you've heard the song, Choosin' Texas. Which why you would choose Texas, I don't know. Sorry to those listening in Texas. I know you probably don't want to be there. But don't worry.

Idaho's basically cold Texas. Okay. So anyway. Apparently, TikTok believes that Ella Langley and the Hoctua girl are the same person.

And this seems to be spreading like wildfire online. The reason for people believing this is nobody has ever seen Ella Langley and the Hoctua girl at the same place at the same time. And I guess if you look at photos of them side by side and really stretch on this one, you could go, I guess if the Hoctua girl had brown hair, maybe she could possibly look a little bit like Ella Langley. I don't know, to me, they do not look the same.

Uh whatsoever. People are saying, well, I thought Ella Langley was wearing a wig, which she could be. I don't know. I haven't met Ella Langley. And if I did, I certainly wouldn't be like, is that hair real? Um, you know. Some kid running by like they do with Santa's beard, try to take her wig off, be messed up.

Pretty pretty rude. So, anyway, um, the internet's running wild with this one. You know, they're showing side by side photos.

Now, there are like certain facial features that are slightly similar, but they don't look the same. I I don't I I'll take this type of content over all the political garbage I get all day, though. All right.

And I guess I'm gonna go on the side of sure, I believe it. Okay, I'm looking at the side by side pictures of them here. Um, okay, the Hoktua girl, she has a couple of like moles on her neck. Uh, well, Ella Langley probably just covered them up with uh makeup, right? Uh where's a picture of both of them smiling? You know, did they have the same same teeth? I don't know.

No. Okay, there's a picture of Ella Langley smiling. She's clearly had the Hollywood teeth treatment.

Uh, probably veneers, her teeth, you know, are like bright white and absolutely perfect. Hoctua girl, not the same. Not the same. Well, there you go. There's your conspiracy of the day. Uh, the Hoctua girl, she was just, you know, waiting for that that opportunity to put out a massive song.

And I guess even though she already had viral fame, was like, well, people didn't like the the crypto coin thing. I gotta go buy a new name. I am no longer Hoctua girl. I am Ella Langley. There's some dumb conspiracies out there, people, but people will believe anything.

I think we've all learned that in the last few years. Hope you're doing well. What's the weather looking like for the weekend? I intend on probably spending a lot of time indoors. Maybe I'll get out and mow the lawn.

I'm sure that would make Becca happy. Um, and and I know it needs done. Uh, let's take a look here. I saw some kind of graphic pop up on social media that said, you know, the Pacific Northwest was gonna be a little bit warmer than expected this weekend. Let's see if they're right. Um, today and tomorrow, high's in the 80s, so I'd say that is warm, but then tomorrow, uh high of about 71, it's gonna be uh windy.

And ooh. Yeah, Sunday night. Looking at uh getting down to a low of 36. I don't like seeing that, but then next week, warming back up yet again. So should be pretty nice.

Should be pretty nice. Uh another thing I saw when I was scrolling online was somebody asked, who is the smartest person in your high school class, and what are they doing now? Well, uh, I think the smartest person in my high school uh graduating class is currently doing uh a morning show on K-Bear.

Ah, no, I was definitely not the smartest person in high school. You know, uh before high school, when I had a good attitude, I was a very good student. Then I got to high school. Well, I I'd say junior high is what ruined me and turned me into uh you know having a bad attitude towards school. I hated junior high. I went to school with a bunch of jerks. Um I'm not gonna get into like depressing topics of bullying, But there's like one guy in particular. I'll never forget this guy, because he was such a piece of crap. Like I had a friend who passed away when I was in sixth grade, my best friend.

And who kids can be really mean. Yeah. It's not like I had anything to do with it. But this one, you know, piece of human garbage. Uh he's probably the type of guy who ended up growing up and being a I don't know, a serial killer or something. Or, you know, he he's some overbearing boss somewhere. You know he's a piece of crap. Maybe I'll try to find him on Facebook, see what he's up to.

Send him a message, be like, hey, you're a loser, you suck. But uh well, let's see. Smartest person in my high school. See, high schools uh when I really started destroying my brain cells. Um, so I don't remember who the smartest person in high school was. I know that by that point I was uh slacking on homework and things like that.

I wasn't about to get myself into the advanced classes. I'll tell you what. Like funny story. Let's talk about me failing government in uh high school. Oh, some listeners would love that one. Oh, you failed government in high school, but you talk about politics online, huh?

Now listen. I I failed it during the school year because I just didn't do the homework. So I had to go to summer school and I aced the class 100%. My summer school teacher was like, why are you here? And I'm like, well, pretty much because I have a bad attitude and I just didn't do my work. I was top of the class in summer school and uh aced gra uh government class.

Who was the smartest person in my high school? I mean, I would assume they're not sitting around commenting on stupid posts on Facebook like I do all day. You know, they're they're probably let's see, if they're smart, you know, you assume they're doing well for themselves, but you never know. Smart I've known a lot of smart people who've like completely messed their lives up. Oh, sometimes being smart can be a burden. Yeah.

You know, I would think that sometimes it's a lot easier to just be dumb, dumb and ignorant. Huh? Huh. Well, let's see.

Let's go through and see what other people are talking about as far as they're smart people. Okay, they go over the guy who um never studied, slept through calculus, casually won state science fairs without trying. They all assumed he'd start working at NASA or CERN. Instead, he figured out how search engine algorithms worked in the late 2000s, built a hyper-specific digital marketing empire, and retired to Spain before turning 30.

See, yeah, exactly. The smartest person in my high school. The reason I can't remember who they are, they're they're probably retired now. Yeah. Hmm. Who was it? I don't know. And I probably don't want to read about the smartest people in these other folks' high schools and their fantastic successes.

Yeah. Like there was a lot I wanted to do in life. And uh, for a variety of reasons, those things didn't happen. But luckily, I'm still young. I'm gonna go ahead and call myself young today. I know I generally am like, I'm old. Hey, bro, uh 44.

You you could still get a lot done. Wasn't it Rodney Dangerfield? He didn't even like get into comedy till he was in his 40s.

Now he's known as one of the greatest comics of all time. I don't think I'll be the guy uh taking the stage, but uh well, taking the stage and doing stand-up. Not witty enough. Yeah, I'm gonna close this. I I don't want to read about these smart, successful people. I'd rather read about failures.

No, come on. No failures today. You can do it.

You can do it. Oh, I just saw somebody's face pop up on my social media feed that made me want to uh made me want to barf. I'm not gonna say the person's name. Just uh local scumbag. I won't get into it.

Unless I don't know, I gotta read the article. Maybe it maybe it is worth talking about. All right, we'll be back in a minute, okay? Hang on.

All right. Y'all are gonna have to give me one more song before I can get into freak news. I got myself all distracted looking at this article about this sleazy local, bit I guess you could call him a businessman. Um I I would love to get into it. I would love to get into it, but just seeing this guy's face makes me so mad that I had to read through the article. Just some people are just dirty weasels. Just the worst. Oh, geez, I opened way too many tabs.

Let's see if I can keep track of what I wanted to talk about on freak news. Why did it smell like trash in parts of San Francisco on Thursday morning? This is a real article from the San Francisco Chronicle. And I was attempting to read it. At first, it was like, all right, you know, you're currently opening a tab that has an ad blocker on. You should uh, you know, not do that. So I was like, all right, all right, we'll turn it off. Let's check it out.

And it's like, hey, give us your email address so we can uh, you know, go ahead and send you a bunch of useless spam. No. So I'll just guess and answer the question. Why did it smell like trash in parts of San Francisco on Thursday morning? I'm guessing it was hot outside.

And it's a big city. Go to pretty much any big city on a hot day. It is going to smell bad outside. Have you been to Las Vegas on a hot day? Yeah, you walk through certain parts, all of a sudden, that sewage smell just hits you like a ton of bricks.

You're standing in front of these multi-billion dollar casinos and it just reeks. Yeah. That's what I'm guessing. I mean, San Francisco, didn't the city put out an app to where you can report where uh human waste is, you know, currently residing on the sidewalk and things like that, so the city can pick it up. There's a lot of reasons San Francisco could smell bad.

All right. And again, that could be any big city. Well, let's see what else we got here in my uh multi-tab mayhem. Okay, that's this the first San Francisco. Well, let's stay in San Francisco. You know, not only does it stink there, but it's uh very expensive to live there. And just like here, rents going up.

You know, would you be willing to pay double the price for a home where a landlord had allegedly murdered his tenant? Hold on, I gotta cough. Jeez. Better take my uh Zertech.

Got uh allergies going down. Okay, so this landlord allegedly killed a tenant. Now, they're currently in a lawsuit. Um to clear the home so it could be sold. But while the case is playing out, the alleged murderer's family is trying to rent it out for $6300 a month. Uh rent was previously $3200, which is crazy, but $6,300 a month for a place where somebody was murdered.

I I don't know. It just seems like there might be some bad vibes in the place, and also uh the price is steep. How big is this house? I mean, I know San Francisco is one of the most expensive places in the country, but uh the person trying to rent it out does say that they're letting people know about the death in the lease.

They're like, yeah, we know it's 6300 a month. Uh by the way, somebody was murdered in here, but hey, you know, you take it or leave it. I I guess I'm gonna leave leave that one. All of the freak news today out of San Francisco for some reason. A man tried to punch a dog walker at a San Francisco beach, which is messed up. Somebody just out walking their dog, and some guy just walking, starts fighting and tries to punch him. Um, the person he tried to punch was a former marine and current martial arts instructor. So, how do you think it went for the guy who tried to punch the dog walker? Yeah, it didn't go very good. The guy basically he didn't even like beat the crap out of him.

He just like took him to the ground and held him there till witnesses got police to show up and they handcuffed him and took him away. Yeah, you never know who you're messing with. That's why when I see idiots, you know, trying to start fights at the bar and stuff like that.

I'm like, dude, you don't know who you're messing with, okay? Like, for example, I got this uh this little tiny guy coming in in about uh 45 minutes. His name's Lieutenant Crane of the Idaho State Police, all right. He's shorter than me. You know who I'm not gonna ever mess with? You know who I would never mess with? Even though he might not look very intimidating when you first look at him.

Yeah, Lieutenant Crane of the Idaho State Police. Guarantee he could beat the crap out of like anybody, all right. You don't know what somebody's been trained in. You don't know how tough they are. You don't know if they grew up, you know, on an actual farm.

You don't know if they were like a former bull rider. Like, we got real cowboys around here, all right? Real cowboys. Not the guys that, you know, moved to Idaho and Montana after watching too many episodes of Yellowstone and drive a truck and wear a cowboy hat.

We have real cowboys around here. And uh yeah, they grow up tough, all right. So if I could offer any advice as we end freak news, it's don't start fights with random people. You might really get hurt, even if they're a little guy. I've seen a lot of little guys. I mean, I even remember in school, little guys, you know, like some big guys picking on them, one smack to the face, big guy hits the ground. Size don't matter.

I'm telling you. One guy who knows how to throw a punch. If you've been trained, yeah. Just watch UFC or you know, boxing.

You know? Been some big guys taken down by some little tiny dudes. So I don't get in fights with anybody. Because I'm a little dude. You don't want to mess with me.

No. I'm a you know, peaceful hippie type guy for the most part. I might rant and rave, but yeah. Fighting's bad, people, okay. Not to mention, you know, people like die in fights all the time.

People don't people don't think about that. Like some stupid fight. You get hit or hit somebody wrong, they're and they just hit their head on the ground and they're dead. Then you're in jail. Or you're dead. Either way, bad. So don't fight people, okay?

It's dumb. Uh, let's uh let's roll. Let's roll into eight. Getting closer to the weekend. Party time. It's a little after eight o'clock.

It's the Victor Will Show. It's Friday. Good morning, everybody. I hope you're doing well.

I'm doing better now because my stupid ticketmaster account decided to finally start working, and I will be able to transfer those seven dust ticket winners their tickets because they just weren't coming up. Hi, peaches. Good morning. Good morning. Uh, thanks for helping me out yesterday.

Appreciate you uh getting the day scheduled. I was right about to jump into Music Master from home when Jade's like, don't get into Music Master. We'll have a clash. So yeah. How was uh yesterday?

Speaker 2: Oh, it was great. Uh we did have some computer problems, but Josh handled it by himself.

Speaker 1: I felt bad that uh, because I I did see the uh conversation about the issues. I've been here on mornings when we have that particular issue, and usually me and Josh team up on it. So I was sorry he had to uh deal with that by himself.

Speaker 2: I didn't like the fact that he was like, all the stations are on the air except Z-103.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know what's weird is um the night before when I hit up Jade and let him know I wasn't gonna be able to be in. Um I think I I ended up waking up in the middle of the night. Must have been about one or so, and I was like, uh, all right, I'm I'm gonna go uh put my best stubs in so that uh I don't like sleep in or something and accidentally forget to put them in. And I don't know if you've ever accessed next gen remotely.

Never. And sometimes it does weird things. Uh, like it'll say that songs are missing, like I I know I've called you from my office and been like, hey, isn't this song in the system? And you're like, yeah, it's here.

Yeah. But I couldn't see, you know, it was showing me that the songs didn't exist in the remote desktop. So while I was putting the songs in the uh the control room window looked weird. It said idle, and you know, there were some emails uh that said like stations weren't working and things like that. So I ran out to my truck and fired up all the stations. I thought all of them anyway, and they were all working. So I'm like, oh okay, it's just remote desktop being a piece of crap. So I put my best stubs in and went back to bed, and then I saw the next morning uh the remote desktop probably was looking accurate.

It's just weird that things were still actually on air when it was in that type of state. So I don't know, I gotta let Jade know about that. But I don't think I could have done much from home to fix it. Either way, but everything appeared to be working.

Speaker 2: So I woke up and saw that email from Josh and it said all stations are on the air except Z. Oh no, did I forget to schedule it? I was gonna sprint over here. But then it said Z was off the air from 12:30 at you know, midnight to 7 a.m. And I went, oh okay, so if it went to 12 30, that means it was scheduled.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not my fault. Yeah, that particular thing happens sometimes, and it is a frustrating fix. Not super hard, but uh yeah, I I just wish that uh I could have made Josh aware earlier, but from my end, it appeared everything was working fine, and I just assumed, yeah, remote desktop was being garbage.

Speaker 2: So I came in and was like, oh, Victor's not here, and these computers to to your right were just completely off. Really? Yeah. Hmm. Um, well, that that would be a problem.

Speaker 1: And I think you gotta turn that back on from in the server room.

Speaker 2: No, it wasn't I shouldn't have said completely off. It was just that button right there.

Speaker 1: Oh, that happened to me the other morning. I did have to turn on the uh whatever that thing's called, PC I O P box device. I'm sure the listeners are loving this. They're loving this exciting, exciting talk here, Peaches.

Yeah. I mean, what I originally intended to do is go, that was from Ash's Teneo, die for you. One of Becca's favorite songs that she listens to relentlessly. Um almost every time the song is on, which is basically any time I get in her car, I'll send uh full metal Jackie a video. Please tell from Ashes to New to put out new single, please.

Speaker 2: Maybe you were the guy squirting Danny with a water gun.

Speaker 1: Yeah, please stop playing for you. I mean the crowd with the squirt gun squirting the band. I've heard this song too many times.

Speaker 2: I love how his defense uh in his defense he was like, I don't know what's inside the one what liquid is inside that gun. It could be anything but water.

Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it could be. You know, and what uh what I found funny is people in the comments on some of those articles were like, how does someone sneak a squirt gun into a venue? That's what I was wondering too. It's made out of plastic.

Speaker 2: They don't do you just hide it under your shirt?

Speaker 1: Yeah, put it in your your pocket, stick it down your pants. Well, if it was like a super soaker. I would guess that that I'm assuming it was one of the little handheld ones.

I don't know. A super soaker seems like it'd be a lot harder to sneak into a venue than a little plastic squirt gun. But you generally don't get the airport style TSA pat down when you go on a show where they're just depends, like grabbing your groin and things like that.

Speaker 2: It happened to me when I was trying to get my uh my candle through uh TSA.

Speaker 1: They did you have it in your pocket?

Speaker 2: Uh no, it was in my backpack. Oh, and for some reason they do like extra screening on me or whatever.

Speaker 1: So I think I've read stories about people like hollowing out candles and packing them full of drugs. Oh you know, were you on on your way to or from California? From California. Ah.

Speaker 2: But even two to California. Um apparently I'm too big for the machine.

Speaker 1: The full body scanner. They're like, you're like, yeah, it's not gonna work with you because your hands are touching the roof. Uh could you step aside and then they have like some Take your pants up? There's some poor guy like pat me on my butt and everything.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's you know, it it couldn't be a fun job being a TSA worker.

Speaker 2: Well, there they were the ones the people here are extremely nice. Oh, yeah, dude.

Speaker 1: Flying out of Idaho Falls, it's the best. I've been you know, scouring the internet trying to find a somewhat reasonable price ticket to go to my daughter's wedding. And I I even looked at like potentially flying out of Salt Lake and stuff. She just picked the worst week, apparently. I'm like, what's going on in Phoenix that weekend aside from your wedding? Why is it so expensive to fly there? Even on, you know, the cheap airline, you usually take like 400 bucks.

Wow. And that airline you have to pay for every extra thing you do. You know, and I have certain items I need to bring, like a CPAP. That would be my, you know, personal item or whatever that you you gotta pay for. What about my pants? Where am I gonna put my pants? And then I gotta rent a suit. I gotta do Just don't have kids, Peaches. You know, I know you've talked about that before. You want to have kids someday? They're expensive. You know how much money I've spent on this wedding? Jeez. If but it's a one-time deal. That's what you think.

Speaker 2: That's what unless you follow his dad's legacy.

Speaker 1: If she well hey, you know what? If I when I get married again, I will have no parents paying for it. So it's gonna be all on me. Did you get an inheritance from them? No.

Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I was gonna say maybe they part that they technically would because you got some money from them.

Speaker 1: No, I mean, I my mom did have a little bit of life insurance, uh, but I basically use that to like pay off my truck and uh deal with bills that I had to pay uh because of you know the uh getting unmarried process.

Speaker 2: So that'll be one of those people, unmarried. Unalive.

Speaker 1: That all went away really fast. Uh sure uh it helped it a bit, but that's another thing, kids. Buy life insurance while you're really young, because I've looked at it now and I'm like, oh, because I'm older, they charge you a lot of money for it. So uh my kids are gonna get whatever they get. Have fun selling books, kids. You want to get your inheritance, you need to learn how to be an eBay seller. You're gonna have to work for it.

Speaker 2: Wouldn't it suck to have like a rich dad that's like you gotta get your own money?

Speaker 1: I hey, I'm they got lots of stuff that I'm gonna leave them.

Speaker 2: You know, not that I'm talking about like like Shaquille O'Neal. Like that's it's my money, not yours. You know, David Beckham, I think said the same thing. There's been plenty of like businessmen that have gone like when I die, it's all going to charity.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you gotta give your kids something, right? Like, I I wish that I could get away with not helping my kids sometimes.

Speaker 2: But also, if like your dad is Warren Buffett, I feel like you you can get yourself pretty far.

Speaker 1: Yeah, those those rich parents that don't help their kids out, that really frustrates me because I, you know, I'm a paycheck to paycheck kind of guy, and I still will go out of my way and do whatever I can to help the kids just because it I didn't get that kind of help when I was younger.

So if I can do it for them, I'm gonna do it, and they seem to be doing good for themselves. But yeah. Sucks. I don't want to give them my money. I need it, but I'm in debt. I need to pay down. Need to pay down those credit card bills, and instead racking up more. Kids want to go get hitched. You know, you can do it at courthouse. Jeez. No, we gotta make it a fancy ceremony.

Speaker 2: Isn't that that big from what you told me, right?

Speaker 1: It's not no, it's a small wedding, but it doesn't matter.

Speaker 2: They wouldn't even allow you a plus one.

Speaker 1: I know. I know. What the heck? Okay. Cue the outrage.

Speaker 2: from your daughter's wedding. No, I'm glad to help them out. I'm just joking about this. I don't want to pay for nothing, but yeah. When you you know how it is, Peaches. But at least it's not like one of those destination weddings, like, Dad, we're getting married in Venice, Italy. Have fun.

Speaker 1: Yeah, well, it sort of is. It's in Phoenix, and plaintid's tickets are expensive.

Speaker 2: No, but it's not like one of my former teammates from high school for basketball. He uh he got married in Venice and he made everybody fly out.

Speaker 1: I would have been like, sorry, kids, I can't afford it. The best I can do is Venice Beach. There you go. I I don't think I can even afford that. They're gonna be lucky if I show up.

Speaker 2: That's what I usually say too. You know, like it's an honor to have me here.

Speaker 1: They better be grateful I make it.

Speaker 2: I'll count this as a remote.

Speaker 1: All right, everybody. We'll be back in a few, and I'll talk about whatever else I was gonna talk about. All right, dudes. You know, one good way to pick up the ladies, find a nice romantic song and play it for them. They like it.

I was looking at this article. What is the most attractive hobby a man can have, according to women? And I know a lot of you dudes need some help. All right, see plenty of guys complaining. I can't get a lady. Well, maybe your hobbies are driving them away. Maybe you need to do something different. What are the things you can do as far as a hobby that ladies are gonna rate as attractive? Well, maybe this is why I'm so popular with the ladies. Because the top result was uh reading books.

Okay. Dudes, you can uh like pretend to read books too. You could just like go to the thrift store and buy a bunch of them for really cheap and put them on a bookshelf. That's what I feel like I do nowadays. I I just buy books and put them on the shelf.

I do want to get back to reading. Bought myself a little light you attach to books, you know, so I could read in bed if Becca's asleep. I've got a book sitting next to my bed that I've started probably five times. The Troop by Nick Cutter. I need to read it. They're gonna make a movie out of it. It's not a long book, but I suck. Maybe tonight I'll get some reading in.

We'll see. What are the other things dudes can do that ladies find attractive? Okay, uh, learning a foreign language. That's I guess a hot a hobby. To me, that's just educating yourself.

But all right, sure. Uh it's one I'm not good at. You know, I mentioned earlier how I had to go to summer school for government class. I ended up, you know, acing it 100% in the class. Made the teacher mad. Um, but Spanish class, that one I did not fail. However, I did not do well in it. I I don't know why I'm just dumb. And learning another language, it it was just very difficult for me.

It didn't stick. All right, playing an instrument. Yeah. Get yourselves a guitar, dudes.

Yeah. Get up there and play some riffs. Another hobby, uh, kind of like reading that I need to uh start doing again. I did pick up my guitar the other day for a few minutes.

So that that that's better than not picking it up. Uh, let's see. Cooking. I'm I'm not a great cook, but I I can cook. You know, my wife's a really good cook, so she tends to want to cook more than me, which I'm not really used to because I have kind of always been the one that cooked in the house. But uh, yeah, she's better than me, so that that's fine. But I do try to cook her good stuff sometimes. I I do my best. So, dudes, if you don't know how to cook, you gotta at least be able to somewhat cook.

There's a lot of videos on YouTube that'll teach you. And then woodworking. I don't know if uh sitting around on your porch drinking beer and uh chiseling a stick into a you know vague shape of a person or something, whittling.

I don't know if that counts. I assume they're talking about building stuff. Uh all right, what are some of the other uh hobbies that ladies find attractive? Those were the top five. But if you do things like painting, writing, photography, astronomy, hiking, blacksmithing, blacksmithing. All right, I don't know. If you have a home blacksmith shop set up in your garage, and your lady's like, oh man.

I love the just endless clanking sounds coming out of the garage as he just hammers away at that metal. I don't know. I that's just kind of surprising to me that uh a woman would put up with that kind of racket. But uh also archery. Come on, ladies. If your guys out in the backyard shooting at a fake turkey with a bow, is that really that attractive? It's like, hey, well, while you're out there, why don't you mow the lawn? I was I'm surprised yard work didn't pop up, but maybe they don't count that as a hobby, it's a chore. So those are all things you dudes can work on if you want to pick up the ladies, all right?

You're welcome. Hey, check the check this out, everybody. Hey, why don't you cops?

Why don't you just like get out of here? That's right. You get all right, I'm the only person in history who told a cop you get and they got no lieutenant crane just hung out and was chatting with me for a few, and uh then he had to bail. Right when I needed to jump on air.

That was new stuff from Spirit Box. What's up, everybody? It's the Victor Wiltshow Friday edition. I am so happy that the morning has been going by quickly for me. The only problem is I have a so much I need to do after the show.

I'm like, oh jeez. There was a bunch of things I was gonna get done during the show, and I managed to pull off none of it. Well, you know, I get busy, yeah, hanging out, doing traffic school with Lieutenant Crane or reading about a grocery store in again. I don't know why we're getting so much San Francisco news today, but uh, they have a place called Rainbow Grocery, and they're filming many concerts with local bands in their produce section. Uh, what's the name of this band? The band now.

Okay, hold on. Time for me to critique local band now band. All right, the now band has been a staple of the Wisconsin cover band scene for over 21 years. Uh, there's another band called Now Now.

Uh there's another, okay. The website of the band now, London-based band. Uh note to the band now in San Francisco, that name has been used. You need to get a new name. If you are in a band, you need to use Google and find out if your band name has been used before.

Because if you start uh making it big and a band has ever released music of any sort online, they have made it worldwide available, therefore, therefore they own the trademark to that band's name, and you're gonna have problems. So this you know, these look like young kids. They probably don't know any better. I don't know what their music sounds like. Oh, let's listen to them. Here we go.

Under the rainbow. They're not gonna swear in the grocery store, right? They're not me. Let's check them out here. Where's where's the volume control on this video? Says it's up. Oh, here we go.

Speaker 3: Kitty Wazzy Waka.

Speaker 1: Okay, I can't listen to too much of that. No, no offense. They're they're just kids. They're just kids doing their thing. But anyway, why don't we got any uh grocery stores around here having bands playing the produce section? I mean, Winco, please don't do this. Walmart, please don't do this. The reason I say that is because there's no room.

All right. I already had to deal with the robot vacuum, the AI robot vacuum at Winco. Even though that's where I do most of my shopping, and I would love to have a soundtrack that is not whatever the the beeping intercom sound is that goes off sometimes in there. There's just not enough room. It's too packed.

But, you know, uh I don't know, Albertson's got some decent room there in the uh produce section. Let's set up some bands. All right, to rock and roll. You know, you go to a grocery store, you got a live band playing. That would make grocery shopping a little bit better. Because grocery shopping sucks now, right? I used to love it.

I've talked about it many times. It used to be my place of serenity. I'd you know, just go there by myself, put the headphones in, do my shopping. Now it's all packed all the time. And of course, we all know about grocery prices. Yeah, grocery stores probably can't afford to pay a band to get in either, huh? Hey, local bands, you can play for exposure.

Yeah. You know, a lot of people are gonna hear it. I I'd play a show at the grocery store, but only if I was allowed to have JD run the sound to ensure that the crushingly heavy uh levels of bass and guitar and drums were reached. I don't like being under amplified. Uh, if you're a metal band, you get it. You probably shouldn't be playing the coffee shop. The sound guy is not gonna set you up the way you want to sound.

I like to be crushingly heavy when it comes to playing. Probably be kicked out of the you know Albertson's produce section in like less than a minute the minute we start playing, but it would be awesome. Anyway, it got this uh this grocery store, Rainbow Grocery, a bunch of national news, so it's something to do.

You having trouble getting people into your business? Set a band up in there. There's tons of local bands looking for a place to play.

There's gotta be one of them who'd play at your place. And I'm telling you, local bands don't get paid crap. Um, I've been in many local bands. Generally, places want you to uh you know play for exposure, or hey, we'll give you a pile of tickets and you can sell them, and you know, if you sell enough of them, you get to keep the profit. If you paid a local band a hundred bucks, I bet a lot of local bands would jump at it. Because I know how terribly local bands get paid to uh play shows around here.

If you paid them, you know, a hundred bucks for a set, yeah, you could get a lot of bands in for sure. Hey, I'm not saying it's good. It's just a fact.

Local bands get paid garbage. Anyway, um, I better take a quick break and be right back. Well, I don't know how the show rocketed by so fast.

I ain't complaining because I am so excited to get home for the weekend, but I got a lot more going on today. We still need to draw winners for meet and greets with theory of a dead man. We've got the noon hour of madness in mayhem. Uh I got 10 billion other things to do, so it should go by pretty quickly. I hope if you're working that your day does as well. If you're traveling this weekend, be safe. If you're traveling by air, I hope nothing like this happens to you.

Um a guy. Well, he claims he was almost sucked out of the window of the airplane. The airline's disputing this and was like, nah, he just got like sucked toward the window. Peaches, did you see this? I talked about it yesterday. Okay.

Speaker 2: Ryan Eyre CEO going like, well, actually, he's overreacting.

Speaker 1: Yeah, uh I was just wishing that you had seen this article before you travel.

Speaker 2: Trust me, I saw tons of different uh articles popping up right before I left for vacation. There was uh a really bad one of some like there was actually a comforting one, actually, of some pilot going, you know, turbulence will actually never take the plane down.

And then I was thinking, watch me be the one time that it happens. And then, of course, Travis Barker's promoting his documentary about how he survived a plane crash, and that he was like begging his friends to like end his life in the hospital because he was horrible. He was in so much pain. He was like, I'll pay you a million bucks. And he was like, all the stuff.

Speaker 1: Jeez, that's dark.

Speaker 2: Such a dark, and then what was even crazier is he was on the Joe Rogan podcast and he was talking about how like, yeah, like I know I didn't use planes for the longest time. It would take me three weeks to travel to Europe for a Blink 182 tour because I would take a boat, and I'm like, dude, that's even worse.

Speaker 1: Wow. Okay. Can you imagine being so traumatized that you'd have to like take a boat across the ocean? Right. Yeah. Because that sounds horrible to take a boat across the ocean.

Speaker 2: That's seasick.

Speaker 1: And scary. The ocean's more terrifying than up in the air. Oh, definitely. I would much rather any day, no matter the situation. You can put me on the crappiest plane ever. I would rather do that than be on a boat going across the ocean.

Speaker 2: I had some kid, uh, some teenager that was to the left of me. He was the window seat. So for the flight back from uh Santa Ana to Idaho Falls, I paid for the extra leg room just because I want to be able to sit comfortably. That's what happens when you're a tall freak like me. You gotta pay to be able to sit comfortably.

Speaker 1: I I've I'd been, you know, as I said, looking at plane tickets, and yeah, I saw, you know, looking at a particular airline that you could pay to have, I would imagine a tiny bit of like egg extra leg room. Or is it a pretty good amount?

Speaker 2: It's it's a lot. Like I'm able to sit there. very nicely. Yeah. But the only issue is that you have to be you have to pay attention to the flight attendant because they go like, are you prepared in emergency situation to handle the exit? Oh, and then they ask you to like take your headphones out. I'm like, Don't bother me. I wanted the extra leg room.

Speaker 1: I'm trying to watch obsession.

Speaker 2: Yeah, leave me alone. But then I was trying to watch the weird Al Yankovic story. Oh. Can't you see I'm having fun?

Speaker 1: Well, at least Peaches, if a window broke on an airplane, like you wouldn't get sucked out of it. No.

Speaker 2: This teenager though, he was like mimicking what to do with the emergency exit. Like this is right before we're about to take off. And he and he's like messing with the thing almost.

Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, if you even touch that one more time, I they'll probably have to duct tape me to my seat because I'll be beating the crap out of them. Now, what's weird about this story about the guy who, you know, he claims he got sucked part of the way out of the window, and they're like, no, he didn't. Is why would it matter either way? The difference between if his arm and head went out the window and if he just got sucked violently toward the window.

Speaker 2: If you traumatized people that are trusting you to get from one point A to point B, and the window breaks. Yes.

Speaker 1: Like if he got I would say getting sucked toward the window is just as bad as your arm getting actually pulled out of it. Unless it ripped your arm completely. I didn't realize like it was that forceful. You know, I didn't really see it in movies.

Speaker 2: Well, yeah, yeah, but I thought those were over exaggerated. Because like, you know, grenades in movies, like they're apparently they're a whole lot more violent than what they actually are.

Speaker 1: Yeah, explosions in general. Well, or like an explosion will just send somebody flying and then they get up and run away. Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2: Or they get severely beat up.

Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, and they just stand up and just get going. Yeah, yeah. Fist fights that they they just last forever.

Speaker 2: Like the expendables. All those dudes would be dead.

Speaker 1: Exactly. Uh well, I'm glad the guy was okay. I mean, those airplane windows are pretty small. I think uh you'd have to be like a baby to get actually sucked out the window.

Speaker 2: And they're thick windows too. Like, that's the thing too. I don't know how this one cracked. They're at least a few inches thick.

Speaker 1: Yeah, uh I didn't read the whole article, so I don't know exactly how that happened, but uh he was and he was belted in, so I you know I don't know. It's I just don't know why they're arguing with him about it.

Speaker 2: The worst videos are the ones where well, because they don't want to pay money because I'm sure that specific airline Ryanair is struggling. It's like the new spirit.

Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Yeah, I I don't know much about this particular uh airline. The articles out of the UK.

Speaker 2: Well, the spirit's gone, isn't it? Aren't they? I think so.

Speaker 1: I I know some like YouTubers and crap were trying to gather enough money to buy it for some reason.

Speaker 2: Oh, I can't wait to fly moist critical airlines. I well, I would. That would be the most boring flight announcement ever. All right, guys, today's turbulence is insane.

Speaker 1: I'd be down. They could make it real bad depending on the YouTuber. What if they put Mark applier in charge of the guys? Welcome to Whoa!

Speaker 2: Turbulence! Ah, I don't think we need to be making flight jokes on 9-11, okay.

Speaker 1: You're right. All right, Peaches. That's fair. And uh, yeah, everybody uh I I didn't even realize till until somebody called somebody called me earlier and asked me, you know, what I was doing 25 years ago. I uh Oh, yeah, it was 25.

I didn't realize that today uh was 9-11, the 25th uh terrible it's terrible to call it an anniversary of such a horrible event. Um I mean do you even remember you were pretty young? at the time. You were five.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I was born in ninety six, so I was in kindergarten. I was in was it kindergarten? So you probably first grade, first grade.

Speaker 1: Did they like put it on on the TV for the kindergarten? I don't remember at all. Yeah. I mean, I know what I know what I was doing. I was working, it was one of my least favorite jobs, not because of the business or anything, but just because of the type of job it was. I was working as a housekeeper peaches at a hotel.

That's not a fun job. Right now, I just imagine you in a mate outfit. I no, I wore regular regular clothes. I didn't have to wear an apron or something. But yeah, I you know, while you're cleaning the rooms, you generally I'd turn the TV on because this is before we had you know smartphones that you could like listen to cool stuff with headphones.

I'm I'm that old. So I was watching, you know, broadcast TV to pass the time, and you know, of course that was all over the news, and it was like, whoa, this is crazy. And then the the second plane hit, I think, live on the news. And it was like, oh, okay, this is not an accident.

Speaker 2: Well, I know like Howard Stern was like one of the only guys on the air at the time because everyone else ran in New York.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and he broadcasted for a long time that day, didn't he? Yeah. Yeah. Crazy, man.

Speaker 2: Wait, someone somebody called the front desk, by the way, today and asked Kennedy, uh, why isn't Classy talking about 9-11? What it's been okay, so like what are we supposed to say?

Speaker 1: I mean, like I said, when the listener called and asked me what I was doing, I tried to think of something to talk about with it. Right. Um, I mean, it's one of the most horrible things that's happened in our country. Um, And, you know, they just released a bunch of documents uh about like the ways the ways that uh people in the city were affected afterward, like the air quality and stuff.

Oh, yeah. Uh that so there's a lot of like kind of unpleasant news going around about uh the aftermath of 911 right now. So I all I would really like to say about it is that I just hope the day comes when everybody can get along. You know, that's one thing I remember is right after 911. Uh it was one of the only times that like the country was united. People stopped fighting over everything, kind of like at the very beginning of the pandemic. Everybody was, you know, very united, and let's help each other, let's help our neighbors.

And well, look where we are today, Peaches. Everybody just hates each other and fights all the time. I wish we could get back to just people, you know, being good with their neighbors, being fine with people who disagree with them. The days and weeks and months after 9-11, um were very different than things are now. And uh, it's unfortunate that we're so divided as a country at this point. I I hope one day we can get back to things being a little bit more together.

Speaker 2: Honestly, I had no idea back then because I was five. I'm sure my parents were like, we're not gonna have you go to school tomorrow. And I was like, yay, because I was a kid, you know.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and I mean that's all I really remember is watching it on the news, and I think I saw the when I think I saw when the second plane hit, but that was 25 years ago, hard to remember, and I I just remember thinking can't imagine how horrible it would be to be a person in New York City right now. Oh, yeah, for sure. So anyway, um yeah, I if somebody is mad that Classy wasn't talking about it, it's hard to find an angle to talk about it today, other than you know, remember the victims. Um, and like I said, I just I I wish people could get along, you know.

Speaker 2: I think Kennedy, our front desk girl, was born after the fact. Probably same with Maddie, who's born five years after crazy. Yeah.

Speaker 1: So anyway, everybody, um, I was supposed to play legal ID about 10 minutes ago. I guess Oh, jeez.

Speaker 2: okay. Like I said, today's like going by way too fast, and I have too much to do. So Peaches and I will be back at noon for the noon hour of madness in mayhem. And uh I hope the rest of the morning goes okay for everybody. All right, we'll be back in a bit.
